Hired him in spring of 2017 to stain our log home. Paid half down. Excuse after excuse he showed up in the fall just to pressure wash exterior of home. Waited till mid summer before he showed up. It is now end of October 2018 and job is still not finished. He didn't even put in 40 hours of work. We ended up paying for the stain (which he was supposed to get with down payment ) and did over half the house ourself. Don't hire him.

On Wednesday, Troy emailed me to call to set up the free estimate. We called, and called, and called, left messages and emails...on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday AND Saturday. He never responded. Finally, on Sunday, he answered his phone and said he'd be out that afternoon to give us a quote. We gave him our home number and cell number. We stayed home ALL DAY waiting for his advance call, but he never called, showed up or cancelled. Totally unacceptable for a professional.

We are absolutely thrilled with the job Troy did at our house. This was an exterior job including deck (power wash, primed, painted) The weather was not on our side and delayed the start, but once the weather was going to be clear for several days in a row, Troy was diligent in getting the job done. He is someone that truly enjoys what he is doing and takes a lot of pride in his work (and he should!). We also greatly appreciated a couple of issues he noticed with the siding and brick and brought to our attention - it would have been easy to just do what he needed and move on. Troy is very likeable, trustworthy, and fair in his price. I am now saving up to have him come back and take care of some interior work. If you hire him, you will not be disappointed - he definitely delivers!
