Up North Services has been stellar in my two dealings with the company. A year or two ago, I contacted them about a "phantom rodent" that was in my rental property. The gentlemen interviewed the tenants and gave common sense suggestions to the renters, such as, 'since I found no entry points, don't hold the back door open for extended periods of time.' Services were rendered and traps were set. No rodent was found but I was very pleased with the rapid and respectful service. Recently, I called Up North Services again about a wasp nest in the eve of my roof the weekend before my roof was to be replaced. I was concerned that the hive would interfere with the workers and led to a problem in delaying a roof that I needed. Up North was responsive in scheduling and through some telephone calls and was able to determine that the hive was not active and that the roofers could knock it down. Honest contractor - would do business with again!

I called Keith late in the morning and he was there late in the afternoon the same day. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all of my questions. He told me that if I had any problem afterward to be sure to call him. It's two days later now and the wasps have disappeared. Appreciate his promptness and thoroughness.

I've been a customer of Up North Services for what must be two decades now. Keith has always done a fantastic job! Even when I panic because I've seen a "bug"!! I despise all things creepy crawly and Keith does an excellent job of keeping my house free of all pests.

Keith answered my call and fit me in on the same day, on the way home from his previously scheduled appointments. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me listening to my description of the problem and laying out possible options for treatment. When he arrived at my home he spent nearly two hours doing a thorough examination and was able to rule out bed bugs as an issue, much to my relief. He examined everything from top to bottom and gave me lots of helpful information about identifying and treating other possible environmental causes of allergic skin reactions. He was polite, professional, and honest--and saved me quite a bit of money that many of the self-professed bed bug specialists out there would have charged me simply for an inspection. I would most definitely hire Up North Services again and can't recommend them highly enough!

They were outstanding and their price was very low. They stand behind their work and came back a second time without additional charge. I couldn't be happier and they arrived right on time.

Provider came quickly to the house sometime last year or earlier. Professional. Reviewed actions of tenants with tenants to help determine a possible cause, which was likely them holding a door open. Would use again.

Keith has treated our house and yard a few times for carpenter ants nesting in the yard. Each time he is thorough, taking time to track down the nest(s), show you where it is, and explain exactly what he will do to treat. He will also then go through the rest of your yard and house to find any trouble spots. The nice thing is he will treat anything he finds typically for no extra cost. If there is any follow-up needed he will also clearly explain that and the time-frames. I want to stress that once a problem is solved he does not PUSH for additional unnecessary visits at all...there is no pressure to buy. We have referred him to other friends who have all universally raved about him, too. Really have nothing but positives to say.

We've used Keith at Up North Services for the past five years. Prior to Up North we had a contract with Orkin which I would never use again or recommend. Keith is prompt at returning calls, and it's easy to get an appointment. He's professional and friendly. We live in a heavily wooded area and had an issue years ago with millipedes that Orkin could not eliminate after mainly failed attempts. Keith did internet research to find out what chemicals would work best with our problem, and it worked. He is also very much aware if you have pets in the the house and informing you of what chemicals he used, how long your dogs should avoid the area, are they safe, etc. I would recommend Keith to family and friends.

Up North Services were responsive, they have all their accreditations, and they clearly explained what they were going to do and why. They did live removal of my chipmunk.

I thought I had a critter in my attic -- either a mouse or skirrel. Up North diagnosed over the phone and then came out to investigate. Turns out I sent him down the wrong path but that wasn't his fault. The only issue I have is trying to selling be an annual contract to come spray for patio ants.

Up North takes care of the issues and I have no problem with them. They were dependable, reasonable, and knowledgeable. They are very nice and go about their job. They are quick and easy to work with.
