They installed a shut-off valve for the main water supply next to the water meter. The pipes were right up against the wall so I thought it might be a challenge for them, but they were in/out in less than 20 minutes and cleaned everything up like they weren't even there. Overall excellent job and would hire them for other work.

One of the coldest nights of this year and our heat went out. We are talking zero outside. I called their after hours phone line and within an hour of me calling Jeff had our heat rolling. Would highly recommend.

Nice guys. They arrived when they said they would and did a good job. They added the overflow reservoir we picked up at the store and were generally helpful. The unit was under warrantee so our cost was just service and a renewed warrantee.

Jeff and his crew have always been extremely service sensitive when called on. The do the job right the first time and are very professional about their work. We bought a new old house and had several plumbing issues to address. I asked them to fix a leaking sink in a bathroom, fix a running toilet, fix a low pressure hot water setting in my kitchen sink and most importantly, fix a leaking sewer drain pipe on my basement. Most things were small. The good- my bathroom sink and toilet work fine (he jiggled the flapper on the toilet- So this is for the sink) and for that I paid several hundred dollars for a three + hour service call (why did this take three hours? I don't know either). The bad: the big job plus the kitchen sink were completely ignored. Oh, he told me the sink needed a part (I said ok, order it), and the basement needed two men, some concrete torn up, and another part so they'd need to come back. I said, yikes, how much? He said he doesn't do estimates and that the owner would have to call me back. I never got a call back. I had to call and speak to the owner, who had no idea what I was talking about and would call me back. He also said he couldn't fit me in for a while because of their schedule (weeks). To his credit, he did call me back to offer an appointment within two weeks but still with no estimate. Whatever happened to the part that needed to be ordered for my kitchen sink? Who knows? Never mentioned, clearly never ordered. I had Dan's come in within 2 days and they fixed the basement issue in a couple hours with one guy and no cement removal. I paid the same amount I paid for my leaking bathroom sink. I will not use Best 1 again. The simple services that they did provide worked, so I don't have a complaint about that but they clearly sent an inexperienced plumber and then grossly dropped the ball, lacked cgood communication, and just clearly weren't interested in my residential needs.

Best 1 postponed our appt. twice. Plumber did not communicate unless aked, Everything he repaired, excuding new seal on toilet is again leakiing or dripping. Our son-in-law just replaced the faucet Best 1 "repaired".

Since we were new to the area, we did not know anyone here, so we signed up for Angie's List and did a search. We called and Jeff was able to come over the next morning. He quickly replaced the broken faucet part with one he had on his truck. We found him knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. We would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend him.

They responded very quickly and the price was very fair. They worked with me on solutions to the problems and did quality work. They ended up replacing my gray water pump to my mound system and found that the level alarm system was broken and came up with a cost effective solution to fix it. I'd use them again in a heart beat.

I'm very impress with the work, used good quality parts, told me ahead of time where they was gonna tap into water supply line. Excellent job, no leaks and the new hot water works perfect in it's new location.

Very trustworthy! He gave us several options and helped us select the best option for us. He worked extra hours to make sure the AC was functioning before the anticipated heat spell. Were we ever thankful for that! We have had Jeff complete many other services for us so we knew we wouldn't be disappointed.

I bought an older home that was in pretty good shape, but the home inspection cited quite a few electrical issues that weren't up to code. I also wanted to add central air, a sump pump, replace the toilet, upgrade the electric, and all in all just get the house the way I wanted it before I moved in. Best-1 was prompt with their estimate and work. I added several things as I thought of them as they were working, and they were always courteous. Very good work, and I will definitely use them again fpr any plumbing, electrical, or heating/cooling work.

We were working with our original contractor for months regarding our AC continuing to stop cooling. Last fall (2010) a York representative came out and approved a replacement of the coil. When I called the original AC company I could never get them to set up a time to come out. This went on for over 3 months (April, May, early June). Finally Best 1 was recommended by the York representative. Corey had already heard of our concerns and had someone out within 36 hours. He even stopped by to check on the model number so the people would have the correct part with them. Best 1 did a great job and I would highly recommend!

Originally thought our water pipes had frozen upstairs as there we had no supply. Went to take a shower in another bathroom and the hot water did not work. Called Jeff @ Best-1 and he had someone out before noon who replaced the tub/shower faucet in the2nd bathroom, as well as the Aprilaire humidifier filter. He suggested we heat the upstairs bathroom for 48 hours to see if the pipes thawed. After 48 hours the faucet still did not work, so I pried back and forth on the lever and finally got about a 50% flow rate, but could not shut it off. I turned the main water supply off overnight and called Jeff the next morning. By 1:00 PM a plumber showed up, pulled the cartridge and found that the mixer had seized. He replaced the mixer and charged for only that part. In fact, the Allen screw that held the faucet handle in place was frozen, and although he pried it off it was unusable. The plumber thought he might have a handle in the truck and went out and found one that fit and replaced it at no charge. Had he not done that, I would have been forced to buy an entirely new faucet.. Great guys to work with. Very professional and personable. Would highly recommend them!

At 7am we received a call - they came out right away to fix our furnace. They were very punctual and had the parts with them for my specific furnace. Their repair person was willing to listen to other problems and address them while on site without scheduling another appointment. Highly recommended. :-)

I have used Best-1 in the past and they have always been prompt and very helpful. No job is too small. I had a leeking dishwasher and called them. They came that afternoon and we soon found out it was a problem with the washer itself and not the plumbing. They didn't even charge me for the visit. I called them back a week or so later with a running tiolet and again they came right away and fixed it. They are the only plumbers I use in town.
