Description of Work: Fully remodeled two 2nd floor bathrooms. Tore out old vanities, toilets, flooring, lighting from both, shower from one and tub from the other. Installed new toilets, vanities, linen cabinet, tub, shower, tiled shower and tub walls and added mosaic niches, tiled floors with tile baseboard, installed new recessed lighting, heated flooring system, electric exhaust vents, painted walls, hung towel bars and TP holders. They went to the stores with us & provided excellent guidance and made recommendations as we asked for them on the various products & materials used in the job. They hauled away all removed all old items and debris. Put down protective plastic to keep carpeted areas and steps clean. Vacuumed and cleaned up surrounding work area each day. Felt extremely comfortable with them being in our home each day both with and without one of us at the house.

Description of Work: Total remodel of main bath. demolished/removed everything down to studs. New walls, floor, shower, toilet, vanity and lighting. I selected what I wanted and got the beautiful new bath I've been wanting for almost 20 years. There were a few days we were without a shower, but, who cares. Greg even came back to fix a 'soft' spot on the wall where the drywall compound was apparently too wet. I'll definitely be contacting them again when it's time to re-do the kitchen!

Description of Work: Bathroom renovation including subfloor repairs. The work was done professionally and with care. The subfloor was repaired completely including shoring up from the basement. Installation of all items from floor and bathtub/shower wall tiles, vanity, mirror and toilet was done to our satisfaction. There are minor items yet to be done but they will be scheduled at a less busy time.

Description of Work: Greg did a variety of handyman jobs including hanging curtain rods and putting in bath hardware and installing a peephole. He also got a stock upper kitchen cabinet and they stained it to match my kitchen cabs and installed it so I would have more clearance over the refrigerator, which enabled me to buy a new taller fridge. Very happy with every aspect of his work and his wife Kim was wonderful to work with too. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We met with Kim the designer and scheduled the bathroom remodel, that service begins after our shopping trip to select product. It looks as if we will go over the package cost, not sure why but the allowances for product were a bit low. If this was a $9000.00 package one would think we would have more room on items, I guess I misunderstood the offer in that regard. I will follow up after the project is complete.

Since we are happy with our kitchen remodel he is now working on a bathroom remodel. All work look good and a we anticipate a first rate outcome. Greg's wife Kim is a kitchen designer and supplied us with a plan for a future project that we are very excited about completing this year.

Description of Work: I had purchased a big deal for The West Bend Handyman. They came out and took measurements of the kitchen, and they gave me a drawing of what the improvements would look like. There were no measurements that came with the drawing.

+ -1 moreIt was pretty good overall, they were very responsive and we can say they were very good and brought back some good ideas. We didn't spend anything other than the cost of the deal. We haven't scheduled any work with them so far we have to determine whether or not we can afford the project, As far as the plans go, that's pretty much all we had done. They spent about an hour with us talking over certain ideas and they tried to get an idea of what we wanted. They came out some time in January.

+ 2 moreThe cost included the cost of the kitchen counters and some extra parts which I had not purchased. The bathroom remodel was approximately $320.00 for labor and some extra parts. I had already purchased the vanity and cabinet. Greg was very helpful and answered all questions I had. Greg was very honest with answers to questions and is very trustworthy. He completed these in two days due to the amount of work. Greg's quality of work is excellent and I was very pleased with how remodel looked at completion. I will be calling him for all other work I need done around my home.
Description of Work: Replaced the cabinet above the toilet, the vanity with the sink, replaced ceiling fixtures, and replaced kitchen counters.

+ 1 moreGreg was awesome. Because his schedule was so full, there was a little delay at first, but once we determined a good time for him to come, it was perfect. He removed a toilet paper roller & robe hook in the bathroom, filled it, painted it, and he added a little texture, so it totally blends with the rest of the wall; he put the storm doors in & repaired a screen; he fixed a bedroom sliding door which had come off its track; he put up 3 new porch lights and added 2 doorbells. If he had a question or needed something, he'd come to where we were & very quietly talk to us. He was extremely professional, easy to talk to when explaining what we needed done. I would definitely use him again, and I've already told him I'll probably be calling him in the spring. I can't say enough good things about Greg!

+ -1 moreGreg did all the work himself, on two separate days because rain got in the way of the sealant for the roof vent. He responded to my first query immediately, was able to do the work right away, was punctual, efficient, explained the process to me clearly, and even cleaned up so thoroughly I would never have known he was there. And he threw in a small repair of an old milk delivery door for free. I will absolutely call him again and recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Installed bathroom ventilation fan, vented it through the roof.

+ -1 more.Contacted him by phone, he gave me his rates over the phone, he charges by the hour. I told him what was going on and he said it should take him no longer then 2 hrs. I gave him more then his price, he was that good. He came over to the house and quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. I had an electrical problem in one of my bedrooms and could not get power to the outlets. He was able to find the short and fix it
Description of Work: need some small electrical issues taken care of, Greg diagonalized the problem quickly and fixed in a few minutes. He did not waste time and was in and out. Was very professional and trustworthy. Would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: This is not the first time I have hired Greg for work around my house and it will not be the last.This time he fixed a leaking toilet in my basement.With just one phone call he was able to diagnose the problem and was able to come over in a timely fashion and fix the leak before any more damage was done.
