We are very happy with the work done in our home.

Mike does great work. He's reviews and fantastic but he is a slug businessman. We had 2 appointments one I had to cancel due to a death in my family and then a second one Mike backed out on my because he had a fishing tournament. Mind you we had a scheduled job and he backed out to fish! Then he asked me to rescheduled wayyy out from the original date vs bump someone else or adjust his schedule to work me in in addition. Very unprofessional guy. If you can lock in date pray Mike doesn't have a fishing tournament or dart league or golf outing or ladies night suddenly come up.

Mike was very conscientious & did a really nice job for us.

Mike did an awesome job. Started and finished the job as scheduled. Did a great job getting all the work done on time and cleaned up spotless each day when finished and at the end of the job. Price was great compared to other quotes we had received. We would hire Mike again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone looking for hardwood floor services.

Clearly described the details of the project and the timeline for it to be completed. Excellent eye for detail. Project was completed as described and on time. His professional experience input was extremely helpful in deciding color, detail, maintenance and instructions to protect the flooring. His team and himself where thoughtful, friendly and always cleaned up after themselves. They were very easy to have in the home without worry.

Mike was very straight forward. He took a few minutes to look the floors over then sent a quote and time frame for completing the work to me promptly. I discovered wood under linoleum in an additional room which I asked him to add to the project. He did so without much hesitation. Even though the floors were in poor condition and difficult to stain hard maple, the floors ended up lookin great.

We had a great experience with Signature Floors. We got quotes from several companies and, while not the least expensive, I liked the products Mike uses to do the work and I liked that the owner would be doing the work and not some random sub-contractor (as was the case with the least expensive quote we got). His price was very fair considering the top of the line products he uses. Mike and his staff were always on time and were very easy to have around. We had our floors done the week before Christmas AND I had a child home with the flu. It was a little crazy around here but Mike promised that the process would be as painless as possible and he delivered. Our floors look great. I would definitely go with them again if we need more work done. Mike delivers excellent customer service and takes pride in his work.

It went great. They moved the appliances and started the tear down. it only took a day to get all that done. Then they put in the new floor, and sanded and stained both the new kitchen floor and the old dining room floor so they looked almost identical. Put the appliances back, repaired the water hook up on the refrigerator (not their fault that is was messed up) and left the place looking great. They did little extras like put in a new back step and some molding to make it perfect. HIGHLY recommend them for your flooring. See above additional work done in August. If you want floors done right, this is the place to go.

I was impressed by the competence and professionalism from the visit to determine the quote to the last day when furniture was moved back into place. Mike was very open to answering my questions and helping me feel comfortable with every step of the process. The quality of product used and work done was consistently excellent. They were pleasant to have in the house and willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was right.

Mike McCardle, (Owner) was exceptionally punctual and excellent in customer service, always calling to advise how far he was from our house when an appointment was set or service work was to be performed. 5-stars all the way! We received a prompt call back from Mike when we contacted him for a quote. He came out for the quote within a couple of days. We had received two other quotes - Mike was not the least expensive, but we were impressed with his promptness in follow-up, his professionalism and his knowledge. The job was completed over a three day time period in line with our schedule. All precautions were taken to keep the sanding dust in a confined area (I was very impressed that nothing in my adjoining kitchen had wood dust on it). The day the final coat was applied we had company that night and received many complements on the floor and many requests for a business card! We are planning on having floors and stairs done within the next year or so and will be giving Mike a call again. We most highly recommend him.

Mike, the owner, and Johnny did a fabulous job on everything. They were always punctual, courteous, accomplished what they planned, and kept us informed through every step. One plus with Signature is that Mike is willing to do a project in two stages and will move all the heavy furniture for the homeowner. For us that was a big factor, because we are unable to move those pieces ourselves and had no place to store everything. They were most attentive to every detail to make sure everything was done correctly. Very hardworking, skilled craftsmen who cleaned up every day. Two rooms are maple and the others are oak, and Mike advised us on options for stains and finishes to help us choose what would work best with different types of wood. Our floors are now gorgeous and we are extremely pleased with the process and the final result. We would highly recommend Signature Hardwood Floors, as Mike is an outstanding professional with very high standards who brought back the beauty of the original flooring in our 1928 bungalow.

We were very pleased with Signature. They are punctual, responsive to communication and do a great job at a reasonable price. We would use them again and highly recommend them to others. Our floors turned out beautifully. Mike and Johnny are great people to work with. It was nice to have the same person who gives the estimate to be the person who works on the job as well. They are very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring and can give good advice to their customers.

From start to finish Mike and John were always on time, worked hard and fast, and always cleaned up after each days work. The quality of the work was excellent. Our floor and staircase are beautiful. There were a few things that needed to be fixed after the work was done but Mike very willingly took care of them quickly. One of the goals of this project was that my wife be satisfied with all aspects of the work that was done and Mike and John accomplished that. We couldn't be happier with our flooring and staircase and would certainly consider using Signature Hardwood Floors again in the future.

I left a recording on his phone and he got back quickly. We set up an appointment for him to see the job. He arrived on time, checked it out and sent a bid by email the next day. We held up giving him the job because others were coming to give bids on the same job. It turned out we liked him the best. He came one week later and finished quickly taking all the trash with him somehow (lots of old carpet).

The project was done in an excellent manner. Mike and his guys are very professional. Mike takes a real personal interest in making sure things are done properly. This was about a 3 week project which we knew going in. Great job. Great follow-up. Great attention to detail. Looks so good now all we do is worry that we will scratch it somewhere.

I received 3 quotes. Signature Homes was not the lowest quote, but I was impressed with the ratings that others gave the company in Angie's List. (I have been a member for many years and have always been pleased with the vendors I have used as a result of the ratings and customer comments). I was also impressed that Mike McCardle is the owner-operator of his small company. I was concerned that when working with a larger company, the quality of the work could easily vary based on the expertise and dedication of the particular crew assigned to the job. Mike McAcrdle, Eric and Johnny are a terrific team; extremely conscientious, hard working, knowledgable, efficient and highly skilled craftsmen. They did a great job of sealing off all rooms and cabinets before sanding. There was minimal residual dust anywhere in the house. They were prompt and got the job done in the amount of time that Mike had originally stated. I could not be happier with the end results. The floors look great!!

From the first contact I had with Mike McCardle, the owner, to the finished product, I was extremely satisfied. Mike and his crew were professional, courteous, and experts at what they do. They came when they said they would, and finished the project on time. They always kept me informed as to how long each stage would take, so I would know when the dogs and I could come and go. They did a great job and working with Mike and his crew was fantastic. After a bad experience with another company and pre-finished flooring we called Mike. He worked with us to select a much better product and let us know exactly what needed to be done to create the right sub-floor through out our kitchen, dining room and living room. Communication was constant and when we decided on a schedule they kept to it like clockwork. Mike even worked with us so we could use our credits at Lowes to get the plywood for the subfloor. The end result is that we now have a beautiful new floor which we know has been installed properly. The whole project with Signature could not have gone better.
