+ -1 more- First impression was mixed. Nice "thinking along" with the customer and good ideas, but dirty business card and lousy print of the contract to be signed. - Good brain storming to complete the design. Many good ideas. - Responsive to change or last minute decisions. Good suggestions. - High prices quoted for "enhancements' that turned out to be over-stated - Carpentry work overall good and tastefully done - Basement work very bad. Probably caused by trying to be cheap. Basement has been wet many times since it was completed February 2015. - Basement work required two other contractors to fix. - Overall this contractor showed weak control over his subcontractors in area outside of his expertise. Basement activities were problematic quality from the beginning. - Now seeking recouping of extra expenses I had to incur to fix the basement, about 7000 USD. (including clean up cost of the last flood, caused by coming loose of PVC pipe- Check valve connection).
Description of Work: Build large new addition to living room ,supported by a full basement , and with roof terrace over the entire new area, then also replace garage roof with large flat roof , also with terrace with direct access to backyard via staircase. Connect the two terraces with walkway.
