My roof was replaced in Jiuly 2018 (see previous reviews I have written with complaint and updates) . This is my 2024 update..I remain in contact with James the owner. So far this year three times I was told he would come and fix my roof and downspout, etc. Now we are at the end of October once again with him saying yes he will fix things. If you look him up on Google my horrific pictures are on his site.

Still waiting. All false promises yet another year. I still have a mis matched horrific pieced together, not matching downspout (was supposed to be new). Still have 4 problem areas on the roof. Still have a ridge piece flipped & 2 diff sizes used. Nails were not covered & are rusting. BBB dropped them and Still get my annual updates (over 100 emails with them!)

This is an update to my 2020 and june 2023 reviews. The entire 2023 year I was promised 7 different times that James would come and fix things with my roof and he never came. He answers me when I text him and that's it.

I'm adding to my October 2nd 2020 review. It will be 5 years this July and I have over 100 emails going back-and-forth to the BBB I also have probably half as many or more going back-and-forth with this company's owner, and they have yet to come and fix and finish my roof and replace my downspout like they were supposed to. not with pieces and junk from his pile. All false promises by the owner, all time spent here waiting for him to come, nothing. But he keeps promising he'll fix it.

They started my roof on July 11th 2018. There were delays because the shingles were not delivered the dumpster was not delivered and we had some rain delays. When I went to pay him he offered for me to keep some money back but he said he would finish the roof the next day I thought it was silly to hold back money for one day and I am still waiting for them to finish my roof. It took 3 months to get the ridge cap finished, it took over 14 months to get the down spots done, and he did not do the right color so I have different colors on one of them. It looks Absolutely terrible. He has not put the 2nd vent in as promised and he has not fixed the 3 spots that were trouble areas and now there's a 4th one because they shorted a shingle and the water goes behind the gutter instead of into the gutter. I have been stood up well over 30 times and out of those 30 or more times I was only contacted once and was told that he was not going to be able to make it. Apparently he feels that I have nothing better to do but sit here for all those days waiting for them to show up. I have reported him to the Better Business Bureau and they took him off of their ratings becz of this and now I'm going for the Angie's list. He also told me he would spray the underside of my roof and the shingles with a ammonia water mixture to keep the raccoons off and he has not done that yet either. He did not do the shingles because he said it was hot and it would fade them and he would come back and do it... and he has yet to do that. I am still hopeful that he will fix and finish my roof as he has promised for the last 27 months. How Crazy is that?

I called 3 Angie's List A rated companies for quotes on a new roof. All three had deals on angie's list, but the deals were for different maximum areas. None of the deals would fit exactly because my house was bigger and I wanted some out-of-the ordinary work done. I prorated the areas for the size of my house to get an expected cost. WA came in right about at what I expected. The second company came out the next day and quoted the exact same shingle, but came in at over twice the quote of WA. When I told them they were way too high and showed them the WA quote the claimed that it would not even cover the cost of materials. (The same materials) They also said that something was probably being left out of the WA quote that I would be charged for later. The only difference aside from the prices was that WA did not quote for two strips of ice shield. I went to the menard's site to get an estimate on what the materials would actually cost and they were just over half of what WA quoted for the job, so I knew which company was being straight with me. To be fair, the other company was one of Corning's certified partners which extends out the warranty, but given that they would be using the same shingle and I could have the entire roof done twice by using WA, the warranty did not make a difference. I asked James at WA to quote for the extra ice shield, add to bathroom exhaust vents and to include cost to replace two deck panels where the other the company said it looked like I had bad panels needing to be replaced, and to add some additional flashing. James added $400 to the quote. WA called me about 2 weeks later to say they were ready to start the job that week. When the shingles were delivered that morning they were not the ones in the quote. They were the next step UP with a higher wind speed guaranty and better bonding. Jame said he had gotten a deal on them and they would be no additional cost. I verified and they are a better shingle on the manufacturer's web site. They did the job in one day plus an hour of finishing up the next day. They looked at the deck and said all the wood was very sound. They took extra care to take care of all the areas that I was concerned about and added extra flashing and ice guard. They also cleaned and straightened gutters at no additional cost. The only bad thing that happened is that the workmen did not know that they were supposed to add a second row of ice guard. I told them and they immediately backtracked and added the second row. So if I was going to add any caution, it would be to verify with the guys on site before they get started, if you ask for anything out of the ordinary. The quality of the work looks fine and I will update the review if there are any issues in the future.

The company did go to my rental property and inspected the roof quickly. However when it was time to give an estimate it never came. They said they were going to email it to me never did. I tried contacting them on the phone and texting message about a week later for estimate never responded. I was going to hire them but I can't get in touch. I would not recommend them. I felt like I was chasing them around to give them my business. I am still waiting on the estimate.

We asked several companies for an estimate on replacing missing shingles on our roof. This company was prompt and professional with their response. It was a tough decision to select a company based on cost and availability to do the work. We chose another company, but would consider this company again if we need work in the future.

My experience was very good and they made very good changes. He is a wonderful guy and he gave me a great price. I am still using them and he is coming by in a week or so to do some extra work on gutters as one of them is not draining right. The price is perfect. The quality is very good. Any little tiny thing that I felt wasn't quite right they were right there the next day to make it right and they are really good company. I don't need roofing anymore and gutters are all fine except for one leak which he is coming to fix. I would certainly recommend them.

They installed a new roof on our house and garage. Good price. Good people. Our only complaint is that when they where on the garage roof they dropped product causing wood particles to drop on our cars.

On schedule. Friendly and very profesional. Impressed with their personal appearance. Have recomended them to several other who enquired, some retained them for their needs. Olga H.

This company is owned and operated by Mr. James Gerhartz and his brothers. I was very much impressed by their profesionalism, expedience and friendliness. My neighbors were impressed by their personal appearance. Their uniforms were clean and neat and so was their personal grooming. The work was performed with expedience, adhering to the proposed time line. I would recomend this compay without any hesitation and I will use them again if I were to need the other services they provide.
