Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

They were prompt. I called them at night, they said that I would get a call the following day. They called before 7am, I was happy. I was told someone would be here within 2 hours, they arrived in this window. They got the job done. I wasn't actually home when they performed the work.

Went well. Plumber did not clean up very well and was about $100 more than expected but overall very satisfied with service.

They were on time, senior discount, I was very happy with their service.

Cleaning was done in less than 3 hours.

They are always good. The person who came had some trouble moving the down spout and had trouble getting into one of the drains. He found that the previous owner of the property had dropped a wood piece which was clogging the drain. He cleared that for me though it was not his job. He is a very young guy. He was very polite and courteous. I asked them for an Angie’s discount and he did not give me any discount. Overall it was pretty good.

Fabulous job! The underground lines are black corrugated landscape piping. I was concerned the force from the water jet could rupture this, but it didn't. The only alternative would be to dig up the line, cut it off where the nozzle was stuck, and attach a new segment. Might be a little cheaper but would be more time consuming. Absolutely would use this company again for this.

We were clearly in desperate straits and appreciated that our plumber was able to finally remove the problem so our plumbing was restored but I was disappointed that such a mess was left for me to clean from our bath vanity, floor, tub, and basement. A crowded area of the basement needed to be accessed and I offered (and did) clear as much as I was told was needed only to find additional things carelessly tossed aside as well as a mess on the floor. The things tossed aside were our personal possessions as well as inventory from my vintage clothing business, things I was more than glad to take care of if I had been asked. The young man was very polite and informative about the situation regarding the plumbing. Just be prepared for contingencies like this.

They have a 24 hour answering service, so it was nice being able to speak to someone on the phone, even at 11:00pm at night when we discovered the problem. We were told that they would call back in the morning and we received a call at 8:02am, right after they opened. They came later that morning and promptly took care of the problem. We've used them in the past and would use them again.

Roto-Rooter showed up on time. The employee explained what he was doing. The service was a little expensive, but I had to have the work done. In the future due to the price, I might shop around a little more.

Called, arranged service and completed within the day. The technician arrived as promised and after looking at the job he explained what the problem was, how he would fix it and what the charges would be. I agreed to the terms and he finished the job in less than the time estimated. He explained the source of the problem and what we needed to do to prevent recurrence.

I have heard of them before and they just seemed like a great company to use.

They saved my a lot of money, I was told by another plumber I had to have the entire drain replaced. They came and ran a snake and solved my problem.

I had an excellent experience with Roto-Rooter. They were prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. They arrived on time, quickly got to work and answered all my questions.

He arrived in the time window discussed. He went right to work. Cut through roots that penetrate the sewer line. Substantial roots had grown in 5 years since doing this. He completed the job in way under an hour. They provided a 90 day warranty. I paid him and he was on his way.

We came home from vacation and used the water and it came up in the lawn. We called Roto-Rooter and they came out right away. This was on a Saturday evening, they were closed and it was the weekend. They were here and within an hour had the pipe unplugged. I was very happy with this company and their price. I thought it would be much higher.

We have combined storm and sanitary sewer lines and, as had been the case in 1997 with the big rains, our storm drains (not sanitary) backed up in the basement a bit. The last time the problem had been with roots. The water had gone down quickly, so we were not in an emergency situation. However, I did not want the problem to get worse. I called today, expecting an appointment next week. They said they would be out this afternoon between 1-5 pm. They called again to say they would be there about 3 pm. The serviceman arrived promptly, confirmed the problem quickly, and worked for excess of an hour to get masses of tree roots out, some over 3/4" diameter. Cleaned up afterwords. Offered the root killing treatment, but did not oversell this. Very professional, with good explanations of what he was doing. Flat rate would have been $185, but additional time needed for this mess, plus cost of root killer treatment, increased the total price.

During a recent rain storm, the main sewer drain for our house backed up and caused our basement to partially flood. The plumber from Roto-Rooter was able to come the morning I called and was prompt. He made sure he was finished in under an hour and was very polite.

They were unable to clean it out and seemed like they were rushed by there time. I basically paid $175 for nothing since they didn't solve that drain problem. They put in one hour of time and when they could not open the drain they said they could not do anything more. The drain still drains slow at the same rate as before. Roto-Rooter attempted to open the drain fully. I thought they could do more than the work performed by a plumbing contractor since their specialty is drain cleaning.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLY PROMPT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE BETWEEN 9AM AND 1PM, THEY WERE HERE BY 9:20AM.

They were very cold and callus to me. They were also very expensive. I would not use Roto Rooter or recommend them to anyone.

Our serviceman was right on time, neat and efficient. We had this done by Roto Rooter some years back and did not hesitate to call them again. As these things go, I am sure we will need them again in the future and we will definitely contact them for a repeat performance.

This was a very positive experience, given the not-fun situation we were in. Larry returned our call promptly and let us know how long it would be until a technician would arrive. Unfortunately the cold temperatures caused a delay as the technician's van wouldn't start (it was so cold this problem was understandable). Larry kept us informed on the cause of the delay and the time estimate for when the van would be up and running. He then called us again once the he was on his way, it actually didn't take too long. This high level of communication was VERY MUCH appreciated; so many companies just leave you sitting and waiting. When the he arrived he got to work quickly, was very polite, and really took pains not to make a mess in our basement. His pleasant demeanor helped make an unpleasant situation much more bearable! When the work was done the bill was exactly what we were quoted on the phone; not cheap but certainly a fair price for excellent emergency service on a very cold Sunday.

Service went well. Our sewer pipe was not draining correctly, they came and cleaned it out for us. No problems. It was a bit expensive, but they were quick and polite.

Our service man was excellent. He was very nice, even cleaned up the tub afterward! Called and he was over within 20-25 minutes. Very good service; definitely recommend.

Job was done quickly and professional by a pleasant plumber.
