I called Professional Clean Company to obtain details about their services prior to the advanced purchase of their coupon on Living Social. I wanted to clarify their services as I was seeking high pressure steam cleaning of a new house I purchased with a second pass carpet rinse to get the soap (chemicals) out. During the phone call the owner of the business miss-represented the type of services that they were able to offer compared to the service I actually received. I received a type of cleaning I did not want (there was no high pressure equipment and they only used my warm tap water) with no extra rinse. They used type of equipment that people can rent at big box retailers. When I called to complain, the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. She would not even let me finish my sentence without trying to deny all the specifics of our pre-service phone call. The owner was rudely suggesting that I had no idea about carpet cleaning and my expectations were unreasonable and pretty much nonsense. The final bill was more than double of the advertised special price due to "couple oversized rooms with walking closets". Professional Clean Company was overall very unprofessional and disappointing. I would never use them again and want other people to be weary of their services. Thank you

I purchased a "deal" for 5 rooms of carpet cleaning. I called the company first to be sure this was steam extraction. When the man (he said he was the owner) arrived 1/2 hour late in his car I wondered where his machine was. It was machine purchased at walmart/kmart. I am used to the commercial extraction machines on a truck. He assured me the carpets would be clean and dry. I started to be anxious about that.as In the past another company left my carpets soaking wet for days!. Each question I asked for reassurance was left with defensiveness. I had already moved some furniture as they do not. I said I would move things back as he was done. He was not happy saying this is not how he does things. I had a lot of wear right in front of my couch very close to where it sits. I wanted to be sure it was cleaned well enough underneath. He was becoming more upset with me the more I chose to do it my way. I feel this is such a rip off. For my 5 rooms I wanted 3 bedrooms a hall and a living room. He measured the size of the room wall to wall, but does not move furniture. My bedrooms are small (9x10) They each have a twin bed, and dresser. One has a changing table and a train table in it besides. Without moving furniture he was going to do no more than a "fraffic walk" smaller than a hallway yet he wanted to charge me for a room. I should have been charged for a hallway. Yet he wanted to charge extra for a hallway. My livingroom is larger. Any room over 200 sq ft is considered 2 rooms, but I have a couch, love seat, chair 4 tables a TV and 2 corner tables. No way was this over 200 sq ft of area. But he was here and my carpets needed cleaning. When I called I was told they have deodorizers etc. I was very clear I wanted nothing with an oder as I get headaches. When he began in the back room he used a tool similar to a fertilizer pump spray to spray the carpets. It wasn't low enough to the floor so he was also spraying my furniture and bedding. I could smell a strong cleaning odor. I immediately stopped him reminding him I said no oders. He at this point was quite angry with me and began yelling at me IN MY HOME! He started packing his stuff and yelling at me in front of my grandchildren that all pre treatments had an odor, He proceeded out the front door saying I was arguing with him the moment he arrived. I was asking valid questions as I have been ripped off in the past. I told him he couldn't leave that smelling wet stuff on my carpets. He yelled it wouldn't hurt anything. I was then frightened with his aggressiveness and threatened to call the police if he didn't leave. He told me to go right ahead and left. My carpet was very wet. It took me an hour to scrub it out.
Description of Work: I purchased a "deal" for 5 rooms of carpet cleaning. See how it went. He left without cleaning anything except a mess for me to clean up.

I had purchased a groupon coupon for duct cleaning services. I had to cancel the original scheduled service, and it took six weeks and multiple phone calls from me to finally get it scheduled again. I have had the duct work cleaned at other homes, and this experience was "Mickey Mouse" in professionalism, quality of cleaning and costs twice as much - even with my "discount". Instead of putting cleaning hoses own the ductwork, they just hooked up a vacuum hose downstairs at the end of the ductwork and blew air into each vent. They put some type of air freshener into the ductwork, it didn't seem that what they did would get everything out of the ductwork, since this was the first cleaning since the construction of the house.
Description of Work: Clean my duct work and did a furnace cleaning.

My fiance found this company through Groupon and we received a discount for cleaning. The service was scheduled for two days later. The technician and assistant were an hour late, so I asked my fiance to call to ask what had happened. She was informed that the tech was leaving the previous job and would arrive within 45 minutes, which he did. Upon arriving the tech did an estimate. The cleaning did come at a discount, but we had to purchase additional services for the house, beyond those covered by the Groupon deal. I agreed to the estimate. The technician's assistant seemed very sleepy. They did a thorough job, and notified me of some of the damper features of our ductwork that I was not aware of, though he didn't quite know how to properly operate it. The workers did leave some dark smudges on some of the ducts that they cleaned, which I noticed and cleaned after the workers left. Overall, I was disappointed by the promptness and professionalism of their work, but they seemed to do a thorough job.

DO read my review and take heed. I should have read the other reviewer's comments and not even bothered calling them.DONT use this company! If their work is as unprofessional as their staff and owner, you will not be happy!
Description of Work: We never got to the service part because I refused to use them after they (like the other reviewer noted) lacked professionalism and lied about leaving a message for me or calling me to notify me that the technician would be arriving within a half hour. The receptionist who called me from an "unknown" number said she called but didn't leave a message because she figured I should have answered the phone when it rang (I just missed the call). She was very rude and we ended up shouting at eachother. It was crazy! Needless to say, the technician just showed up and said that he could not get in to the assisted living facility because the doors were locked but never called me because if he had, I would have told him to go around to the entrance to the assisted living facility and not the independent living facility as they were told when I made the appointment. I made it VERY clear when I made the appointment that I needed to be called 1/2 in advance and that it was at an assisted living facility. After arguing with the receptionist, I asked to speak to the owner and she was just as rude and combative as the receptionist and I hung up on her and will never use them again and will be sure to warn others not to either.

These people use the term "professional" very loosely. When I called to tell them about the damage they said they'd have someone come by to fix it. I explained to them it would take three coats of paint. They kept rescheduling this until my husband decided he'd rather fix it himself rather than wait and/or have them come by and do a crappy job. When he removed the vent covers he could still see dirt inside the vents. There were also cobwebs which led us to believe the guy didn't even really clean the vents out. Eventually a couple guys from the company came by. They told me that the vents were dirty because we had run the furnace. For me, that wasn't efficient to explain away the cobwebs. He also told me that since I didn't do the whole house, I wasted my money. In the end, it made me even more angry to have this guy come and tell me that because I listened to his serviceman and had half of the vents done, I had wasted my money. I wouldn't use them again.
Description of Work: These are the people that send out all the coupons in the mail. $77 for the whole house duct cleaning. We just moved into a house not too long ago, and I've never had ducts cleaned before so I didn't know what to expect. First, the guy looked around the house and told me it would be $500. I told him that wasn't even close to what I was expecting. He then showed me how much each cold and warm duct would be. I told him I could not spend more than $250 which was already a lot more than I was expecting to spend that day. So we decided to do 3 cold air returns that were obviously really dirty. He also did something in the basement. I explained to him that the vent covers in my living room were painted on. Since I expect that this person deals with these situations all the time, I was not worried. I figured he'd use a utility knife to cut along the seam in order to get the vent off. That's what I'd do. When he left I noticed that the paint on the molding had come off completely. The other vent also had some damage however it was minimal. I was mostly bothered that he didn't point it out to me.
