+ -1 moreHe took $8900 for materials and labor, but spend all of the money and only showed me one receipt for $400 for materials. He said he didn't have the money to buy supplies needed or pay his workers.He would not justify what happened to the $8900 he was given (except the $400 receipt for materials. He told my husband he needed $6000 more cash to do any more work. At that point in time, he has stripped the hardwood floor and cut down a few weed trees but left the tree debris all over the property that cause me to get a violation from the City of Milwaukee. He had a few guys go up on the roof and remove roofing in a few places to try to get me to give him $6000 more on the spot because my roof was open to a snowstorm that came the next day. He offered to give me a refund, then changed his mind and told me to sue him. I filed a case with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office.
Description of Work: I signed a contract with Tom Wilhelm to tear off and replace my roof, refinish the hardwood floors, remove some weed trees, and paint.
