I'll admit it. I'm a perfectionist. So finding contractors that meet me high expectations is never easy. From the moment Dave H. came to do the estimate to the moment Antonio put the finishing touches on my roof, I couldn't have been more impressed. Dave spent a lot of time explaining what differentiated Ridge Top from the competitors, and sold me on Ridge Top's GAF certification. When I received multiple competitive proposals, they negotiated fairly and gave me a great price. They were able to schedule my job within a week at time that was conducive to both my wife and my work-from-home schedules. The crew arrived on time, and cleaned up at the end of the work day. They answered all my questions and literally stayed until sundown to ensure the job was done correctly. Dave followed up on the work to make sure I was satisfied. And I was! I definitely would recommend Ridge Top for any job large or small!

They did and excellent job of installation and did not leave until the area was clean. Would definitely not hesitate to use them again.

Paul Enea was one of the only contractors who stayed with my problem until it was fixed. Very personable and reliable. Strongy recommend him.

this job ended up taking over 2 months t complete. communication regarding scheduling was horrible! Often times no response when scheduling questions were asked. clean up after job poorly done- found over 30 nails and screws on driveway or in garage, Contractor had poor communication skills. Job finally completed -result OK but not as good as hoped.

Johnny Stanaway …project manager… went above and beyond and was so professional …the team left my yard cleaner then when they arrived.

They were hard to get a hold of by phone. I called and they never called me back.

the guys worked fast and the workmanship was good...having them come back to re-do flashing on chimney....Clean up was good even though they had to come back the next day to finish

Amazingly well--exceeded our expectations! Andy, with his assistant Fuji and the rest of the crew, simply could not have done a better job. Their workmanship last summer on our more than 50-year-old home was neat and precise in all areas, and they made repairs to places we didn't even know were damaged, with no additional charge. A very pleasant and professional crew. The end products have weathered through the winter without any issue, and we are bringing these folks back this year to do some additional work.

couldn't find the leak, but was very honest. He identified potential causes and made some recommendations, but wasn't in the business of selling me a new roof when I didn't need one. Because of this I'm actually going to have the company replace my ridge vent and garage gutters.

They do a great job at a very reasonable cost.

I really appreciated the customer service with this company. We had several companies come and give us quotes but this was the only one that called us back with an idea of how they could save us some money and try a cheaper option before trying a more expensive fix. They were great to work with and we would highly recommend them based off of our experience.

This was a big deal purchase. They were out shortly after I purchased the deal. He did a good job and saved me money. I guess the price was fine. I don't know how much it costs to inspect a roof but when I went through Angie's List it looked like it was pretty comparable. I think he was on time and he was very nice.

Well... I wanted my house resided with Hardie Board type siding. Ridge top had an offer through Angies List. Because the garage is attached to just a corner of the house, there was more area that the offer. There were charges over the offer, no problem, makes sense. Siding was delivered about a week before Labor Day. There was an issue with some of the parts being broken in shipment. A workaround was done. If the broken were reordered it would have meant a 2 week delay. Turns out it didn't matter. The crew was very pleasant and easy to talk to, when they were here. That was the BIG issue. The crew did good work. But, they would show up one day and not return for anywhere from 3 days to a week. The first time, I called and was told the trailer used to haul the debris away broke down, no problem, equipment failures happen. From then on I would see the crew anywhere from 1 day, or even a 1/2 day a week. The owners were very sympatric and apologetic. It took a month to side a 900 square foot home and 1 car garage. The installation of the downspouts was at no-charge, I did pay for the materials, because of all the delays. And it took 2 tries for the downspouts, first time leaked, badly. Overall the workmanship was very good. The amount of time it took was ridicules. As far as would I hire again, I answered "YES", because there isn't a "MAYBE" choice.

I contacted Angie's List for roofers and chose about five to come and bid on the roof. Four responded, two made appointments including Rebecca at Ridge Top Exteriors. Rebecca came out and did a on-the-spot bid, printed out and itemized. She also took photos AND got on the roof (none of the others did). Her bid was the lowest. However, we may easily have gone with Ridge Top because of the professional way in which Rebecca did her job, ensuring we understood all that was included and needed. She did not pad the bid with unnecessary work or supplies. (One guy suggested our garage was ready to tumble down without a complete rebuild of the roof--clearly not necessary.) She offered options (we could reduce the price slightly if we went with 25-year rather than 50-year shingles, for example). She suggested we didn't need to add gutters to the garage as we were not having to move water off a walkway or away from a foundation. She called to follow up with us and tried to schedule us on a day when she was having another roof done in the area within the next week, which was fine with us. She came to our home and had me sign a contract, and asked for a dollar down for the work (rather than the half down others requested). The documentation was clear about what would be included, our requirements and their responsibilities. She took care of the permit (which we did end up paying for on the final bill). She recommended a shingle that came close to matching the shingles on our house. The Friday they were scheduled was a gorgeous day. The supplies were dropped off at our house that morning. At the time they were to arrive, however, we received a call from her that her crew had truck problems and she asked if she could reschedule for the next day. We were fine with that and sure enough, bright and early that Saturday, the crew arrived. Seven guys came to do the work, and they worked efficiently and professionally. The foreman clearly had the work assigned well and within 3 hours they were done. They even took down the basketball hoop so they could complete the edging. They cleaned up around our yard and hauled everything away. You would have never known they were there. Rebecca followed up that afternoon to make sure everything went well and when she came to collect payment, she did a final inspection, again getting up on the roof and cleaning up small pieces I didn't even see were there. I am rarely happy to hand 2 grand over to anyone but I was more than fine with giving Rebecca payment for the work done. My husband thought he was going to do this work himself and I am so glad he didn't. (I would have gone nuts worrying about him on the roof.) The garage looks so much better and it was done without any huge aggravation or stress, which is a huge plus in my book. I would highly recommend this group for any exterior work someone wants done. Rebecca was enthusiastic and professional.

I felt that the price was too high for the service received. The work was great. It has been effective thus far. I do not think it was handled the best.

I asked Ridge Top to come out and inspect my roof due to a leak and some rotting siding. Very responsive and called me back within a day to schedule the appointment. The project manager that came out as scheduled and inspected the roof. He walked the entire roof and not just the affected areas as some of the guys from other firms did. Develop two recommendations for remedying the issues I was experiencing. He also recommended that I do them myself if I was comfortable with it which is what I did. Appreciate the honesty and thoroughness. Hard to find a company like that.

It was good. All we did was the big deal. I don't know if they did a minor repair. It said that it covers minor roof repairs. It doesn't seem to be leaking now, it has only rained once since. He did do a couple of things on the roof. He did advise on what could be done. He gave us a couple of suggestions on what I could do. It was to costly to do at the time. He didn't say that we needed a new roof. He made suggestion to my husband. He did a good inspection and he get didn't get into the attic where a trouble spot was. I don't think there was a full interior inspection. We weren't clear on what the minor repairs covered, because it wasn't specified. We had parts if anything needed to be done. I guess most of it was worth it. We assumed that the two things that we needed done would be considered minor repairs. The thing that we were most happy with, he didn't climb on the roof and say that we needed a new roof. That was nice and reassuring. He seemed honest, nice, friendly, and they were on time. They called to follow up and see if we wanted anything done. We are looking into getting our deck done and they do decks. He did send an estimate for the deck, within a few days. He did say that it was going to be a lot more than if we do ourselves. We will probably do it ourselves. He was pleasant. A little more detail would have been nice. Overall, we were impressed and he looked professional. More detail in the add would have been helpful. He did 90 percent of what he said he would. It wasn't a horrible experience.
