Description of Work: John repaired the side of the large door of my garage that I had clipped with my car. He replaced a number of trim boards and repainted the whole frame of the large door of the garage. In all of this we was very punctual and professional and did a wonderful job. I asked John about other jobs of a more handyman nature, and he decided against those, but gave me the name of another good provider.

Description of Work: I was very pleased withe all the work the client did and the professionalism with which is was performed but due to Groupon giving the service twice as many service calls as they had asked for it took many months before the client was able to perform the work. Then they were to have come back to me with a quote on a new side garage door but have yet to receive anything after a few months.

Description of Work: He was pleasant and did the things I asked efficiently and with acceptable quality.

Description of Work: We had him repair custom cabinet built-ins that had started falling apart. It was a challenge, but he came up with two potential solutions, asked us for our preference, and then made the repairs to our satisfaction. It's very nice to be able to use that cabinet again.

Description of Work: We received an email from the provider that AngiesList had oversold his services, and that he would contact us again in the future when he was caught up. This was on 4/24/2014. Today is 9/9/2014 and we haven't heard back from him yet. I would've expected some kind of monthly update email from him, letting us know where we stand on his list. This is too bad. We have no idea if we missed out on a great, local handyman. But the lack of communication says something, so perhaps it's for the best.

Description of Work: We hired him on a deal for 2 hours of handyman work. He hung some guitars in our basement that we needed hung and did a very good job. | |Angie's List oversold his deal and it sounds like he lost some confidence in some clients because of the work overload. Angie's List should work to support these businesses better than just trying to raise revenue for the company. I will not be renewing my Angie's List subscription as a result of the treatment given this provider.

Description of Work: Signed up for this service on April 10, 2014. As of June 16, 2014 services still not performed. He had so many responses, he could not handle them all. I can't review the quality yet, and I think the provider is sincere, but there must be a better way of doing this.

Description of Work: Installed a bathroom mirror, kitchen faucet, fixed toilet paper roll holders on the wall. He did an excellent job...very happy with the outcome.

Description of Work: John Ginderske seemed like a nice guy on the phone. I initially got his phone number from Angie's List to see if the work I needed done would be covered under the Deal. He said no, but that he would come and visit and give me a bid. I called him back and said that I purchased the deal anyway for some small work and would be glad to see him for a bid on the larger stuff. When I called him again he said that Angie's List had sold twice as many deals as he was able to handle and that he was upset because not being able to respond was going to make him look unprofessional. But since I had called him he promised to get to me no later than May 16. It's now May 27 and I have not heard from him. So It seems that blame falls both on him and Angie's List (if his story is accurate,) and |I wonder where in cyberspace is my $69.00? | |Patsy Norman |2580 N. Description of Work: I hired a handyman to work on the sink and clear the roof.

Description of Work: John repaired my couch(it needed to be braced with some 1 X 4's as the one leg was giving way)and fixed a row of hooks that were falling out of my wall.

Description of Work: Unclog and clean all gutters on my house. Re-attached one of the gutters that was loose.

Description of Work: Improve wall behind deck and doorway so that flashing can be installed. Install and seal flashing at house so that water will follow the path of the re-pitched ( mudjacked ) side walk and flow away from the house. Build new porch with treated lumber the same size as the damaged porch. Pitch porch correctly so that any water will flow away from the house.
