Description of Work: We needed lawn weed treatment. We have a 1.5 acre lot. We were late in the year and didn't want to pay for a full round of treatments. They were the only place that offered a smaller treatment package to suit our budget. Work was professional and punctual. Weed service is all about continuous contracts and overselling to a lot of companies. Best Choice was refreshing in that they didn't do this.

Description of Work: The lawn maintenance they performed was good and kept my weeds away but I just wish I could know a day or two ahead of time when they were coming as one time the lawn care specialist never left their name as to who provided the service on a day when I had a bit of a concern with them as there was no notice in the front yard and thus I went ahead and cut my lawn before I discovered through a notice hung on the inside doors doorknob that they had been fertilizer on the lawn already that day. Owner did apologize but I could not tell him who screwed up by not leaving the sign in the yard. I do think they do fine work just need to clean up a few things. :-(

Description of Work: This company put weed killer throughout my vegetable garden, and laughed when I called to complain. Entire garden produce lost for the season. My yard has multiple issues with undiagnosed fungus or grubs- unknown- and never addressed after repeated/multiple requests by myself. Lawn was over fertilized and damaged by this company. I canceled service and was refunded prorated balance. New lawn service had my grass looking much better in less than 30 days.

This review is not accurate and no one from this firm laughed at her or her concerns. In fact the president of the company actually went over to her house when she had some concerns after on two applications had been done to her lawn. We were hired to apply 5 lawn treatments (fertilizer and weed control), the lawn was in poor condition before we had even started doing the treatments. We offered her information on getting her soil tested to find out if it was a fungal disease or insect damage and some other solutions to improve her drainage issues since there was poor grading done. The reason we offered these options is because we new that just simply fertilizing and spraying for weeds would not take care of fungal, insect, and drainage issues which is clearly what she had. She didn't like the quote we put together for the drainage solution and in general was unrealistic with her expectations after doing just a couple fertilization applications. The president spent about a hour at her house already loosing all profits for the year on this account to try and please her. As for the vegetable garden there were no signs of fertilizer or pesticide damage done when we were on site so not sure where that is coming from. The customer was unfortunately not happy with her experience nor did we want to continue servicing her so we refunded her money (which most companies would not do) to try and leave on good terms. Apparently she still feels the need to write a bad review about us which in some cases is unavoidable I guess. I am glad she found a company she is happy with.

On Thursday, I left a vm and they called back within two hours. I had a choice to have an estimate or just have them do the work. $50/hr so I told them to just do it and call me if it started nearing $300. He said they would be out within the next two weeks. On Monday, I came home to my yard being done. I received the invoice in my email. We are planning to use them again next year and maybe having them quote out some other work.

I had a retaining wall put in so that my window well and yard would not flood due to storms. I am extremely happy that Best Choice Landscaping finished the job when they said they would. It saved me from serious flooding in my basement. Brandon was very nice and courteous. He was a bit late for the first estimate but was extremely apologetic about the situation. He had Adam (an employee) start on the day we agreed upon and finished in a timely manner. The work Adam performed did wonders to the look of my yard (besides being functional) I can't say enough about the professionalism from Brandon and Adam. Although young in age, I was impressed with their maturity and serious approach to their profession. I have already told several friends about this company.

Great experience, Brandon the owner, is very easy to work with. He always gives me a free quote and explains every aspect of the project. He listens to me and gives me suggestions on how to bring the cost of the project down. The employees always show up on time and clean up after the work is complete. Overall I am very satisfied. I would recommed this company to everyone.
Description of Work: This company provides me landscaping services year round and does an excellent job. They do my lawn mowing, snow removal, spring and fall clean up, tree trimming, hedge trimming. I have also had them plant grass, create a stone paver walkway, and add some landscape lighting.
