Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery

Description of Work: Fergusons has a superb selection of appliances, bath equipment, and lighting. We hired a contractor to completely redesign and rebuild our kitchen, a $35,000-plus job. Fergsons recommended the contractor, who turned out to marginal at best. Fergusons also promised to stay in close touch with the contractor to assure that all our new appliances fit perfectly. Their rep may have done that, but the refrigerator did not fit and sticks out from the rest of the cabinets, and looks unprofessional. There is no way to fix this so we are stuck with it. In the lighting department, Fergusons rep helped us chose beautiful lighting and participated with the contractor and electrician to assure best placement, which was accomplished well. However, the beautiful design lighting hanging over the kitchen table has not worked correctly since we got it. It has seven tiny halogen bulbs which go on and off at their own whim. I should have complained while I had the one year guarantee, but did not, so that's my fault. I did complain afterward, and the rep said I should buy a new one, give her the old one, she would ship the old one back, and then reimburse me. Given the light's performance, I did not want another one and did not have the money to buy it and await reimbursement. I am after all still paying for the overall rebuilt kitchen. I threw in the towel on the lighting and have decided to bit the bullet and buy something else from someone else at a far less expensive price. WE also bought toilets and had a terrible time getting the right toilet seat. After considerable back and forth, we got a seat that we finally accepted and again threw in the towel.
