Waunakee Remodeling

The work was done on time, workers were punctual and professional. The windows look great, work great, are very well insulated. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the work and even repainted the window sill. This company was at the high end as far as price, but their quality is also very high.

They came out & gave me an estimate on insulating my basement but I didn't have the work done. They're a fine company to deal with though.

The experience was fine. The price was fair. It was a door that I particularly wanted so I didn't really pay attention to the price. They were there exactly when they said they would be.

The workmen were prompt, friendly, and helpful. I felt that everyone went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the room.....and I am! They listened to what I wanted done, made suggestions to make it even better, and finished when they said they would be finished and for the price they quoted me at the beginning. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Everything went very well.

It went very well. They're doing the job right now. They're doing an excellent job. What I most like about the contractor is his professionalism. During the sales process I was looking for someone who could help me figure out what I really wanted. I had some general ideas but I needed the detail, and the salesperson was excellent at getting me the options without trying to sell me a specific thing. So, it was a very good educational experience for me. I thought that the process went very smoothly, as far as that goes. They were very professional in their dealings, and I appreciated that. I'd say their price was reasonable based on the quality of the work that they've done. I think they're doing a fantastic job.

He was on time, knowledgable, and quick with getting the quote to me. The quote was a bit higher than some others. We have yet to actually complete the project and did not hire them.

Their prices was out of line. It was a little bit too high. They wanted to take the whole thing over and I did not like it. I heard they were good but I did not like how they were planning the remodeling. They had a representative or a saleslady come out. She went through what we wanted but they wanted a different thing. They are trying to give us a code of trying to put a bathtub in. They were trying to do it their way. It was not what I wanted. She did not want to work with me. When I told her how much we are willing to pay, it was too way out of the budget. We went the other way. I was willing to do what they wanted. It would have been okay. It took forever to get a response back. They kept saying that they were on vacation. Everything was on their timeline and I cannot get a hold of them. I might not go with them. It took weeks for them to get back. They would not answer right away. Their professionalism is just fine.

Their services were good and their prices were comparable.

The work was top notch quality. The crew was friendly and responsive. They took great care to not make a mess and did a great job cleaning up after the job. All of the work exceeded my expectations. Expect to pay a premium price for premium service. We are extremely happy with the end results.

They did a very nice job, we have beautiful new windows, and although it is quite the construction process to replace windows in so many rooms, they worked quickly, cleaned up well, and were very responsive to our questions and concerns. Gary is a very helpful salesman, and the install team was polite, on time, and clean as they worked. They even did new wood trim around every window and there is no need to do any painting or repairs on the walls, they made it look seemless. The sun tunnels are a welcome addition to our vaulted family room. They took one day to install, and they let in lots of natural light. We are very happy with the whole job!

Great job. The custom door came in easily a week before expected and installed in the same week I was notified the door was in. The two guys did a great job and cleaned up all the mess. Very happy with the door

The staff at the sales store were helpful and polite. The store was well equipped with demo models to try for different window styles. We were looking at Anderson "Renewal" replacement windows. We have 27 wood surface/frame windows and replaced about 8. The Renewal windows are pretty close to the style of out 23 y/o windows and match well. They have a stainable wood composite which was sealed and stained by the custom color stain we chose. On window in the kitchen was a slightly different stain to blend in with a remodeled kitchen. The work was done in an excellent manner by a crew that worked diligently without radio/musical distraction. They were serious professionals. The gutter protector, new larger downspout and long extension were installed 3 stories up and over a evergreen tree at the downspout area. Quite a trick to do as the downspout is behind 3 large evergreen trees. They cleaned their work area meticulously as they went from window and outside. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. They were more expensive than some windows but the quality of the windows and the skill of the workers is worth it. Of course time will give us a picture of their longer term support and warrranty follow up.

The woman who came was very nice and I liked her, but they were not what we were looking for. I was actually impressed with them and may use them for gutters, but I got another kitchen designer that I preferred. I've heard that they are pretty good in certain things.

They were professional and friendly. Paid great attention to detail. Put down rugs and tarps in interior areas where working. Each night before they left they cleared the tarps and rugs and vacuumed their work areas. Did a wonderful job finishing the interior of the windows to match our existing oak woodwork. When the job was completed walked me to each area for inspection and to explain how the window or door functioned.

The job was done promptly, in the time frame they indicated, results were great. They did outside work first, then worked on the inside. They cleaned up very well, and the workers were polite and pleasant. The windows are wonderful! We will definitely work with Waunakee Remodeling again if we need further work done, in fact we are getting an estimate from them for another job.

Waunakee Remodeling did a very professional job from start to finish. They came in as low bid out of 4 quality contractors. The work was done exactly to my specification and the quality was evident. They kept a very clean jobsite - you really could not tell that anyone was even there. I will definitely call Waunakee Remodeling first on future projects.

The salesperson was excellent, from start to finish and the final work that was performed was quite satisfactory. Unfortunately the process was rough. Staff seemed confused in the scheduling dept, and workers did not show up as we expcted. Some of the siding that was to be replaced was not done and some siding was cut!?? The caulking job was awful and although the lead on the job swore it was paintable, it was not. Old items were left on the job, instead of thrown out. Window screens were not ordered correctly. Salesman to the rescue - workers were rescheduled and caulking removed and replaced to make a large improvement. Correct screens replaced the order that was in error. A beautiful job in the end -- thanks to the effort of Waunakee Remodeling in making it right!

The installers were knowledgeable and hard-workers. They were careful in the installation process and did a good job of replacing all the old windows and wrapping the window frame (not sure that's the correct terminology).The new windows look great and have worked well for the year they have been on the house. They did help reduce my electricity bills.

Went extremely well. I am not sure of the exact date or year without digging through my file. But It was a few years ago. I was very happy with how everything went.

Most of it was covered by insurance due to the hail. They have great customer service and do a very professional job. They did a couple of extra things that make the roof look great that they didn't have to do.

We met with Waunakee Remodeling, but didn't receive their estimate when promised. After several phone calls, it was determined that the person we met with was no longer with the company, and they didn't know what was going on. Eventually we got an estimate, but it was a hassle.

I have a mixed feeling about them. I would not use them in the future.

The provider responded promptly but the estimate was twice what other providers were charging. The estimate was consistent with what other providers proposed.

Everything went very well but we didn't hire them because their estimate was significantly higher than other bids. They were very professional and came prepared, so the impression was good, but the estimate was simply too high.

The quote was reasonable. I would use them in the future if needed.
