It was fair. They were very expensive. I just remember I wasn't very satisfied with it and they're pretty hard sell.

The work got done on time and was done very well. The wood matches very well and the new finsih on the floor is more attractive than the old one. Problems that are new after the floor job are that one seam on the kitchen counter top is now slightly uneven (and cant be fixed according to Allen kitchen people), and one of the kitchen cabinets in now off level so that when I open that cabinet door the drawers slide out by themselves.

Great. They were in and exactly when they said they would be and it was truly dust less. They were even able to replace the broken trim with exact match.

Prior rugs concealed deep gouges - like 1/8and quot; or more - in the floor, areas of dried paint, discoloration, carpet padding stuck to floor, and other big problems. They successfully eliminated all of the bad problems and the end result is gorgeous. Unbelievably beautiful. The only problem they couldn't completely fix was a very deep gouge in one board. They did minimize the problem; no one could have made that one go completely away. very easy to work with and thorough. I knew what to expect from start to finish. They were just great. Am putting the money together to have them work on my primary residence. :-)

We were very happy with the results we received from Schreffler. They were very respectful of our home and made sure they contained the debris the project. This is an extremely professional outfit.

.They worked within the time frame we needed them and completed the job when we needed them. They contained the dust so it wasn't all over the house. The stain didn't quite match so they told us they would come and redo the whole floor for free. I was very impressed with this company.

The experience was great and they did a wonderful job. It took them about 5 days to do it and I will use them again in the future. They may have been a little more expensive but it was worth it.

We moved into the house in 2001. By 2010 the carpeting was in desperate need of replacement. And rather than going with carpeting again, we decided to have all of the carpeting taken up as well as the hardwood floors we had in the dining room and hallway and have it all replaced with new hardwood flooring. Schreffler spent a lot of time with us to pick out the right type of flooring for the house, including several visits to the house to discuss options. The work started on time and was completed promptly. We are extremely pleased with the results and everyone who visits comments on how much they like the new floors. The worst part of the experience was having to move all of our furniture, emptying closets, taking pictures off the wall and doors off their frames. We understand why it had to be done - but it was almost like moving house, having to pack everything away to make room for the remodeling. Looking back, the inconveniences were definitely worth it. And Arvo and the team did a fantastic job!

They were prompt with responses from the start and easy to make an appointment with to view the job. They sent an estimate right away and when I decided on using their company for the job, ordered the wood immediately and set up a time for installation. They took care to seal off other rooms so that dust and dirt would not escape the rooms they were working in. The whole job was completed within three weeks of the time I requested them to do it and looks wonderful. They also sent me pictures of various stages of the job, even though I had only asked for a couple pictures of the finished project!

We uncovered hardwood floors underneath our carpeting, but the finish was old and poor and varied from room to room. Called Schreffler for a quote; they visited promptly and gave us a quote about a week later. The work was scheduled for about two weeks after that, and took 3 days to complete, though they were out of the house pretty early each day. The dust containment system worked like a charm -- there was no dust to be found anywhere in the house. The floors look beautiful. The removal of the baseboard shoe was something Schreffler insisted on, even though other companies said removal was unnecessary. It seems that if you plan on dramatically changing the color of the floor (as we did), then it may be worth the money to remove the shoe. This way the sanders can go all the way to the wall, and after reinstalling the shoe, there is no "line" along the walls. After the workers left on the third day, there was absolutely no sign that they were ever here, except for gorgeous floors. I should note that Schreffler came in about 30% higher than a competing quote. We chose Schreffler based on the reviews here, and because it seemed that their highly organized staff would be in and out in the quoted time. Since this was a whole-house project, punctuality was of utmost importance. This, combined with their extremely knowledgeable and courteous workers, made us very pleased with our decision.

They are great and super. They did a beautiful job. They stripped, sanded, stained and sealed our hardwood floors. They did our neighbor’s floor and that’s how we got to know about them. They were good. We thought that they were a bit expensive but it was worth it. Their responsiveness was wonderful. If need be, then we would use their services in the future too since we still have to get the flooring done in two more rooms. We will get the work done when we have the time and the money.

Well, they are not the fastest company, but they are very nice to deal with. I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue. The people I dealt with were very nice, and they did tell us it would be 2 weeks. It ended up being closer to 4. When the stairs came, they looked OK. I would have been much more impressed if the stain matched a bit better. It will "do". I would say that overall it was a "fair" experience, but didn't blow my mind.

Our kitchen floor had gouges in the hardwood floor from chairs being dragged on it during family christmas dinners at our house, plus our pets were h****** the floor. While we were on vacation, Schreffler came in and did all the work. It was great to come home to a nice refinished and totally new look to the kitchen floor. We loved it. They even repaired and replaced a few boards. It was perfect to be gone during this work as it helps to be off the floor for several days.

They showed up when they said they would with an adequate number of very capable workers to do the work. When the carpet was removed, I was upset to see that there were areas of the floor where plywood patches had been used by previous owners. Schreffler had a carpenter on the job that was very skilled. He removed the plywood and replaced the plywood patches with new oak flooring so that the finished result was seamless and indistinguishable from the 100-year-old original flooring. I was very happy with the result. The cost of these unexpected repairs was very reasonable. I thought the workers were pleasant, hard-working, efficient, capable and knowledgable and I was extremely pleased with the reults.

They came and did our kitchen floors. It was a great experience. Bob was so helpful and knowledgeable. They were very easy to work with. We were able to trust them to work while we weren't home. They finished when they said they would. They were patient with us and didn't pressure us at all.
