Pleasant workers arrived promptly and worked efficiently. They encountered problems in getting the furnace to work and called for a more specialized co-worker, who came immediately, decided to replace the motherboard (?), and had the furnace working within a few hours.

it went very well overall. The person that answered my call in the morning said someone would be in my area in about 2 hours and would call me about 15 minutes before they came. They very very prompt and courteous and answered all my questions. Will definitely use them again next time I have furnace problems.

We could not be happier with how Pharo's installation of our new Carrier heating and ac system went. Every step of the process was very smooth. Bill came out very promptly to give us an estimate (on a Saturday no less), and answered every question we had. The price was very comparable to other estimates we got, but we think we got much better service than we might have gotten elsewhere. The installation crew arrived promptly on the installation date, and Ryan and his assistant could not have been more professional and more helpful during installation and afterwards when instructing us about how to use the new thermostat and system. Canvas was laid down to avoid any damage or soiling of the floor during carry-in/carry-out, and the whole process went smoothly. Everyone we talked with was professional and friendly, from Bill during the estimate, to Ryan during installation, to the folks on the phone when we called in with a question or two. And a bonus we had not anticipated--Pharo takes credit card payment for their services! We expect if any service or support is needed in the future, that will be handled in a professional and friendly way as well. Overall, very happy we went with Pharo for our project and would recommend them to anyone considering heating/ac installation in the Madison/Dane County area.

Bill came on time to the three appointments I made with him from the estimate, to the call back, and to the final run-through before starting the job. Was very patient and professional and answered all of my questions honestly. Whenever I had questions in-between, I emailed them and got a response the same day each time. A 2-man crew came in (was a 2 day job) a touch late the 1st day (5 minutes...no big deal), and right on time the next day. Extremely fast and efficient. Listened to our concerns after the 1st day, made sure to ask questions before completing the work the 2nd day. Felt they stuck to what we desired as far as the location of the ducts (which we were really picky about) and they made it work great. Cleaned up pretty well (just a couple of missed screws on the floor..but visibly swept), but there seemed to be a cloud of dust in our house when they were done...but the did replace ancient ductwork in our house (which is full of dust), and I am a neat freak...so take that with a grain of salt! After they left, we did further inspection and noticed the toe-kick (which used to be a cold air return) that became a supply did not get a sleeve under our kitchen cabinets and one of the connector ducts connecting to the core supply duct had forgotten to be caulked. Emailed them the next day and already have an appointment to have it remedied. They registered our products for us for the warranties on the furnace and the a/c and provided us with the focus on energy credit papers for the furnace. Explained how everything operated to us and remembered everything we asked for on a list I provided. Of the 5 quotes I received, they were the MOST reasonably priced for the products provided and the warranties on the products and labor warranties as well. Felt we got our money's worth out of the whole process.

They had to reschedule us once because there was an early heatwave and everyone's a/c was out but they eventually came. They actually told us to schedule early just because of this kind of thing. All we needed was a checkup so it wasn't a big deal. The service guy answered all my questions and spent quite a bit of time checking the outside unit. I almost forgot he was here. Overall a good experience. They installed our system so we will continue to use them.

The installation crew arrived promptly at 9:00 AM as promised. They were very neat, particularly as it was very snowy outside and the installation required numerous trips in and out of the house. John Nesson, the guy who sold me the system, showed up midway through the installation, and worked with the crew until it was completed They cleaned up so thoroughly that when they were through there was absolutely no sign that anybody had been working in the basement. Although I'm no expert, I thought the installation was extremely tidy and professional looking (much better than the equipment they removed), with all the pipes, hoses, wires, ductwork etc. positioned and installed in a very integrated way, At the end of the installation when they were walking us through it, I indicated a little concern that the humidifier was draining into the sump, because I was worried that the outside hose from the sump pump might freeze. Not a very likely possibility, and it would've been easy to run the hose from the humidifier across the ceiling and into the laundry sink (what I would've done}, but John installed a condensate pump he had in his truck to handle the humidifier leakage, and then also routed the condensate runs from the furnace and air conditioner through it. A much better and classier solution---and at no extra cost. Just an example to me of very good customer service. Although it's a very high tech heating and cooling system, it's been running flawlessly since it was installed a couple weeks ago, and we're very pleased with it.
