Fraud ALERT! Chris Crossland is a total fraud! We bought a house this May and wanted to do tile flooring of a bathroom. I found him on a "pro list" from the Tile Shop. He mentioned that he has dust-free equipments and can do the job quickly and neatly during the estimation. He took our deposit and promise to finish job in a week. But he never showed up again, did not do any job and won't return my phone call or messages. He even used his kids (claiming them sick) as an excuse to get my sympathy so he had the time to cash my check before he disappeared. We are suing him now. I have screenshots of the text messages before he disappeared, will post if needed. I hope more people could see this and not get defrauded by him any more!

Be aware . Chris did not stand behind his word at all. Disappeared a day and half into a bathroom remodel. Leaving us without a main bathroom to use. Wouldn't answer phone or return calls or messages for two weeks. I hired another contractor in the mean time to get the bathroom to functional stage so we had a toilet and faucet again. The work he started was mediocre at best. Also screwed new drywall with to long of screws into a pocket door making more work for other contractor. Chris returns weeks later to get tools he previously left, said he had to go work on "more important job" he states that it he will get to it when he can and that he still needs almost full amount to finish the small section of shower surrond he started. This guy is a joke. Dont be fooled. Stay away!

Chris did an excellent job.

Overall Chris Crossland did an excellent job on our floors. He was very professional, was on time, and completed the job in a timely manor. Overall the job was good quality for a fair price. Chris was very flexible and accommodated our ideas. We wanted a brick looking floor but the major tile suppliers did not have what we wanted. We found a smaller reputable company that had brick tile that really looks like brick. When the tile arrived it had more cracks from shipment than expected as well as it was in quite large awkward sections. Despite these issues, Chris was fair in accommodating everything and did a great job on the brick floor. The marble tile in the bathroom turned out good but there were a few minor defects. In all fairness, Chris pointed out some of the problems that would need to be overcome and stated up front that it would be challenging to get everything "perfect" given the old house had a sagging floor and significantly uneven transitions. Everyone always wants everything perfect but sometimes you know that it is unrealistic for everything to be perfect when dealing with an old house. All things considered, Chris did an excellent job for a fair price.

Chris responded within a day to my query sent through his website. He stopped that day on the way home from another job to give me a quote. It compared favorably with other quotes I had and he was unfazed by the prospect of tiling the walls in an older house where nothing is level and nothing is square. He fit the work into his existing commitments - even coming over on a Saturday afternoon to prep the walls - and within a week, I had my new backsplash! He was a careful worker and clearly has the experience to make good decisions about compensating for my old house. He called to verify when he would arrive each of the three times he came. He cleaned up after himself - even washing my kitchen floor! Best of all the tile looks great!
