Fail to show up the 1st appointment. Call 2nd time and a guy came and fix it for 1 1/2 hrs.

I think it was rude not to even give an estimate & most definitely not very professional.

Did a good job. He was very honest. Didn't push for a new unit. I appreciated that.

In the Spring of 2004, they completed a difficult installation for us in our attic. In a fairly tight area (ranch-style house), they had to install the cooling coil, air handler and flexible, insulated ductwork. We did discuss the option of installing this equipment in the basement (more efficient for the equipment), but because of the home layout, it would have problematic for us - no existing ductwork at all. Their crew (Ken, Pete, Rick and Trevor) did an excellent job and kept a good attitude through the whole project. It was still early spring when they did the work, but we still had a few warm days that made the attic a little warm during their work. All in all, we recommended to a neighbor that they use Seider for similar work. They did and were happy with them.

We decided not to go with Seider because their quote was about $300 more than another company we looked into.

My heat had been erratic for the previous two weeks. Sometimes it would kick in and mostly not. I had to then go downstairs and re-set the furnace. I called Seider Heating from a referral off of Angie's List. When I called I talked to a very nice gal named Tiffany. She set me up for an appointment for the next day. She was very accommodating to my schedule. The next day, right on time, arrived Dan from Seider. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor and was extremely professional. He cleaned the furnace flame sensor instead of charging me for a new one. His communication was awesome. He explained what he was doing and how I needed to have my furnace cleaned every year to prevent this from happening. He was happy to answer any questions I had. I actually learned a lot about my furnace that I did not know before. I am thankful. I will absolutely use them again.

I was very pleased with the work that was done. The tech was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them. Angie's List coupon saved me 50%.

It went extremely well. My call was answered promptly. The person who answered the phone was able to assess my problem, recommend an approach to a solution, schedule a technician for the next day. I also mentioned I had an Angie's List coupon which they honored. The technician was very professional and friendly. He arrived on time, fixed the problem, and serviced the boiler. He was very competent and did a great job!

I was very pleased with the service person who came to our house. He understood that furnaces are not common knowledge and helped me to understand exactly what I needed to do in the future for the upkeep of the furnace and humidifier. My only complaint is that he recommend getting a furnace tune up as soon as possible which I agreed to. He told me that someone from Sieder would call and that he would be back most likely within the week to do the tune up. However; no one called. After about a week, I called Sieder myself to schedule the tune up, but I was told that the next available appointment would be in about seven weeks! This was very disappointing.

WE WERE TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS SERVICE, BOTH THE COMPANY AND THE TECHNICIAN, THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED. WE WILL CALL THEM AGAIN, WHEN THEY SEND THE PROMISED REMINDER, FOR NEXT YEAR.

They were very accommodating with their scheduling, came on time, and were very nice about answering questions I had about how to change the filter.

I called Seider after finding them on this website and I was able to have someone come out the next day. Steve called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and was very prompt. He answered all my questions and was honest about the prices of things. He worked fast and was very reliable.

I thought Scott was knowledgeable about the job. I don't have a basement, but he knew exactly what would have to be done. I don't know why he didn't measure my house though. The hot weather started immediately after this visit. I used my window 12000 BTU, which, to my delight, cooled the whole house. So, I'll put this project on hold, but will probably go with a different company.

We were able to get an appt. Quickly, the repairperson was prompt, courteous and fixed the air conditioner. The price was reasonable.

Seider engineers provided good input to layout/designs and component purchases. Demolition and install went very well with minimal problems and minimal damage. They worked around structural challenges and other contractors well. There was a very extended project schedule (from demo to finish work, 1 year) and that was no problem for Seider. Theyy were a great team to work with (especially Ken). I would hire them again or recommend them to anyone! Only less positive comments are: billing/statementing system hard to understand, especially amounts due for completed work vs. future work not yet done. They are very different from other contractors billing practices. Timely responses from sales and office staff were weak. It required multiple letters and calls to clear up billing issues. That is reason for my ''responsiveness'' score of ''D'', otherwise all ''A''.

Steve was on time and did a great job. Very honest and fair. I highly recommend them.

Matt did the work and was the kind of picky perfectionist you want working on your equipment. He invited me to watch and I got a lesson on how a furnace works as well as what is important about a cleaning. EXCEPTIONAL job. Would highly recommend him and Seider to one and all.

The service technician was very thorough. He checked the air cleaner & furnace filters. He checked & cleaned sediment out of the discharge hose for the air conditioner. He checked the thermostadt and the circuit breakers as well as checking the air conditioning unit. He was more thorough than any repair people I have had out. And he was very pleasant & left me with some recommendations for going to a digital thermostadt & having a fall tune up to adjust the fan speed on the furnace. There was some confusion about the time he was to arrive. I had the service call set for a 1 hour call ahead for service on the prior day. It got too late in the day so I had him come the next AM The scheduler told me 7:30 AM but he didn't arrive until almost 8:30. The scheduler didn't tell him he didn't need the 1 hour call ahead notice.

Scott was punctual and seemed to know his product well. The proposal I received was one of the most expensive (of five); included some work I specifically told him wasn't needed (which of course drove up the price) and did not include the other information specified in my RFP. I did not pursue it further.

The unit was still under warranty. Seider did not hesitate to spend the necessary time and resources to make the repairs.

Very helpful tips during the service; did not try to sell me anything during visit.

This is a first time use of Seider for our air conditioning unit. We were very pleased with the thoroughness of their work. The technician spent at least 1-1/2 hours on the job. He answered all my questions. I was especially pleased with the price. It turned out to be half the cost of my last checkup.

Mark B on first visit for estimate, informed me that if we went with Carrier we would get an additional $400 trade-in allowance if we had proof that the heat exchanger on our existing furnance was deteriorating. Two years ago when we had our furnace inspected we were told that it was starting to deteriorate and we had a written receipt. We would not have known this if Mark hadn't told us. Everyone was courteous, friendly and efficient. Very pleased with installation.

The representative looked at the project and promised a quote in a few days. A week later I called and he stated he thought he had sent it. Three days later I called and was told he would call me as soon as he got in the office. Two days later I called to speak to the owner and was diverted by the person answering the phone to the sales rep's phone. Very disappointing service.
