Excellent experience. I had some bad previous experiences and so went with Angie's list this time to find a good company. Smart move. This was back in early December 2008. The scheduler was very efficient and professional. They were scheduling about a month out for routine cleaning, which was fine with me. When I mentioned I had one attic furnace, she asked if they needed to bring their own ladder (they did) and about the size of the attic opening (which I had never thought about and the opening may have been too small for a larger person to get into). She was able to give me a time and date that worked perfectly with my schedule. The employee was right there at the begining of the time window I was given. He went right to work and let me know the general condition of my furnaces when he was done He did NOT try to sell me on some service package or a new furnace, which is something that had happened with other companies in the past (HARD SELL!!), which I had not liked. But when it is time to get my A/Cs checked or if I ever need service or new furnaces/A/Cs in the future, you can be sure I will call them. Thank you!!!!

It was excellent. I think they subcontracted someone because it wasn t a Seider truck that pulled up when they did the work. Whoever it was that did the work did a great job. They were professional and cleaned up whatever mess they made. It was ten degrees out so we had to have heat. The repair man was there within three hours. We had excellent service. I would definitely recommend them.

Staff was very helpful. I told them my furnace model and they got me the right filter right away and told me how to install it myself.

They showed up as scheduled and were very informative and professional. We have never owned a house with radiant heat/a boiler and the technician gave us a lot of information about boilers and explained some of the quirks with our particular boiler. And we got all of this for only $49 (with the Angie's List discount). We will definitely be calling Seider for all of our future problems/ maintenance.

Seider came and did a careful evaluation of our existing ductwork and heating needs. We wanted a high efficiency furnace to replace out 69 year old furnace. Seider also evaluated the existing A/C equipment, some of which was fairly new, and determined that we did not need to upgrade any of that. Their price was slightly lower for the same product than another company. The price listed includes $350 in rebates which we received in the mail promptly. Seider did all the paperwork for the rebates. They planned extra time for the removal of the old, large furnace, and had a hauling company come by to pick up the old pieces as soon as they were out. So far we are very happy with the new furnace; it is quiet and seems to heat evenly the few times we have used it so far.

Started out slow, first they came out to see the problem, took the part they would have to fix and did not return for a week. However, when they did return it only took a couple of hours and service guy was very professional and explained everything very clearly.

Excellent. Mike (the furnace technician) checked, cleaned and tested the furnace. Then, he told us that our secondary heat exchanger would need replacing soon (which we were told about last year), and that Carrier was paying for both the part and labor for this service (which was worth about $985). So we called to schedule for that work, and within the same week, they came out to do the job. Cory (the second technician) explained everything about the old and new parts; he also explained that the free part and labor were the result of a class action lawsuit that I read about a couple of years ago, and which was just settled in the past 6 months. He was very patient with questions and eager to explain everything.

They are really great. I just really think that they are professional in their work and that they are on time and prompt to all of their appointments with us.

They where very professional. Came on time for the initial call and the appointment that was set. They where friendly. They did a very nice job and they cleaned up very nicely after the job was done. This job was done in a very fashionable time. I am very pleased with the work.

Okay here's the deal a normal service and tune-up from Seider is $100.00 and with the Angie's List discount it is $49.00 plus tax. They also offer a discounted rate of $79.00 for non-Angie's List folks. The technician came out to our house as scheduled and determined our furnace needed replacing. He made an assessment, but did not service the furnace. He then tells my husband that it will be $79.00 plus tax for the diagnostic assessment. Per the technician, KC (or Casey), since he did not service the furnace we do not get the discounted rate? So I called the main office and spoke with Jennifer (I believe) to make sure that was correct. It did not (and still does not) seem logical to charge more for doing less and less for doing more. Per the main office the $79.00 fee is to cover overhead expenses like the truck, gas, etc. He was at our home for 45 minutes an did nothing, but was paid $83.42 - had he actually serviced our furnace and done the tune-up it would have only been $52.00 (approximately). I wonder how much times it would have taken him to actually service the furnace? Casey was quick to point out that if we purchased a furnace from them they would credit the cost of the new furnace with the $83.42. Really? How generous of you! Jennifer was quick to offer setting up an appointment with a salesperson - Thanks, but no thanks! I understand nothing in life is free, and that is certainly not what we were looking for. I expected to pay a little over $50 to have our furnace serviced - instead we were charged 61% more for them to do nothing. It would have been far more reasonable for them to honor the $50 since their hourly payroll expense was far less than what it would have been had he actually performed the tune-up.

My experience with them was good. He were quick and prompt. He was here for about two hours. He fixed the hole in the tubing and recharged the unit and put a dryer in as well.

It was amazing they are very reliable, they came at a timely manner, they are always quick to respond to any emergencies. I am not sure how there price matches up but its worth it. Ten Year Warranty. The have a local office here as well.

They did a very good job. It was at a very busy time and they came out in the evening. They were on time and they cleaned up well after themselves.

They were great. They were very punctual when we asked them to come give us an estimate, which they did. They came when they were supposed to and were in and out. Everything worked great.

The guy knew what he was doing and they cleaned up after themselves. They showed up on time, did good work, but they were not cheap.

Cory was quick, efficient, and knows his furnaces. I asked him a lot of questions about what the function of some of the other switches was and he explained how everything worked, so I got an education along with a quick furnace repair.

Informative, prompt, the price was right. It was a nice experience. Excellent experience and execution of radiant heating. This company is very knowledgeable about radon.

On a day with wind chills below -30 and having no heat in my home, Mark arrived less than two hours after I called. He quickly found a condensate drain clogged with bugs and had my furnace up and running like a champ. Plus, he offered advice on maintenance and filtering during the visit. I was very impressed.

Very positive first-time experience with this company. We called Seider on a frigidly cold morning with a problem with our heating. They were accommodating, especially considering how busy they must be right now. Within a few hours of our call Matt arrived and was able to diagnose and fix the problem pretty quickly. Matt was terrific. He was very professional and knowledgable, and took the time to show me things as he worked. He walked me through functions of the furnace and things to look for when something isn't working properly. It was a helpful lesson in the whole system and it was greatly appreciated! I feel like he gave me a place to start on my own should anything go wrong again. We will definitely use them again.

Great. Pricing was good. Install guys were great. Job was done on time, quickly, and cleaned up well. I have had a few follow-up questions which they resolved very well.

Seider rep showed up on time to give an estimate. He was not perfectly sure about whether the proposed location of the outside vent would be up to code, so he checked on it when he got back to the office and called back the same day to say it was OK. People came out as scheduled to install the hood and vent. This was not the easiest job, since there was no vent there before. They completed the installation and left the hood ready for the electrician to hook up. Everything is working fine. We will definitely call Seider again when we have any HVAC work to do.
