There motto" We Service Our Customers First" is 100% applicable to the service they gave us in the installation of two Carrier Infinity furnaces and two Carrier performance air conditioners. Their Quality Control/ Salesman Tyler was very knowledgeable and personable. The four men who installed the equipment demonstrated their expertise and completed removal of the old furnaces/ air conditioners and installation of the new units in about 8 hours. I highly recommend Seider to you for you heating and air condition need. We are very please with the units that were installed.

Especially important was the excellent clean-up. Also much appreciated was removal of the ugly, old, and extremely heavy antique boiler that was replaced.
Description of Work: Replaced our heating boiler on n emergency basis. Woke up to a cold house at 7AM, had a warm home again by 7PM.

They came in the middle of the night because there was no heat, and the guy knew what he was doing. It took him probably about half an hour. I would recommend them to others.

Was a wonderful experience.I had another company put it a different furnace just a cple years before and it was horrible( I need 2 furnaces in this old house due to the venting). They ripped me off (Flat Rate plumbing). That one still doesn't work right and it was way more expensive. These guys showed up just when they said they would.Put in the new, took out the old and I have a stacked stone basement.Not an easy removal.They totally cleaned up after wards.The 2 workmen were name Trevor and Kyle.Ive had my frunace almost a year now.Works perfect!

I called Seider this morning when the furnace did not switch on and was scheduled for an afternoon appointment. Cory came before lunch (which was much appreciated), quickly found the problem, then replaced the furnace igniter. He was personable and polite as he explained what the repair would entail and what it would cost. I would contact Seider and Cory again for any furnace or air conditioner repair, and will recommend them to family and friends.

Disappointed as it seemed their interest was in selling new, over-priced installation.
Description of Work: Came to check shop heater. Said power supply bad and not worth fixing. Said to call sales about new unit as part would be $159. Called sales and they said $2500 for new unit installed. Checked price of just heater at other place and found it to be less than $700. Found power supply online for $20. ?????

No follow up for arrival time or delay. Don't have people sitting around waiting for you call them! This is TERRIBLE customer service and ranks right up there with waiting for a cable or phone installer/repair person!
Description of Work: I scheduled over a week ago a furnace clean and tune up. This furnace was installed by them in 08 and in so many years I have scheduled an annual clean and tune. The last two years have been where the tech never calls to give me a better time frame when to expect them. The last time the tech that arrived clearly didn't want to be here and I just let it go as to a busy day and season. But, today was the last straw no phone call no nothing all morning! Someone should be calling the customer somewhere within the 4 hour window that I was told. This is lousy customer service!

We did have a meeting yesterday to go over our service dispatching process to avoid situations like this one, unfortunately too late to help her. I am hopeful that in the future this will not be an issue and would like to extend a free furnace tune up on the date and time of her choice to make up for our lack of service. AWESOME! Love these guys. The technicians are always so nice. They do their work and then explain what they did. Very professional. We have had them out previously in December for a furnace issue and loved them then. Keep up the great work!
Description of Work: We had to have our central air unit replace as it was leaking freon. (sp) They came out and replaced the unit with a new unit, tubing inside to the furnace.

I was thrilled with the promptness of Seider in sending someone out within hours of my call, especially after a long holiday weekend in the middle of summer. The technician was friendly enough, and gave me some good tips on selecting a new thermostat. My only complaint would be that he walked over my front lawn, which had been recently seeded.
Description of Work: I called Seider on a Tuesday morning after a holiday weekend because my A/C had gone out. They sent someone over the same day. He was able to diagnose a bad thermostat, and also fixed a clogged valve in the furnace that had been leaking. I opted to replace the thermostat myself, but he rigged the wires so that the A/C would stay on and cool the house until I could get a replacement.

They were excellent. They were very professional and responsive. This was when we went through the heat wave. They came out within 24 hour of my call during that time, which was really rough. They figured out what the problem was, fixed it, and then did some more work and estimates for us regarding the heating and cooling system. Another company we called didn’t even show up. We were very pleased with them. We are considering having them come back and do more work for us.
Description of Work: I used Seider Heating & Air Conditioning 1 month ago. They fixed a capacitor in the air conditioning unit and changed an air filter for me. They got our air conditioning running again.

They have a really good reputation in this town. They took over a month to do the job but they fixed it for free. Their engineers knew what they were doing and did it well. They installed the furnace and air conditioner and supposedly tested it, but they tested it on the first floor and not on the second. They should have caught the problem immediately but didn't. It was another two weeks before they got it fixed and it was then the height of a really hot summer.

Great! it took the Tech about 10 minutes to find and correct the problem and clearly explain to me what had happened.

Tech indicated that I would receive an estimate the following day via email. I did not receive the estimate as indicated by the tech. I called the company back and made them take my email address in the event that tech had wrong email.

It went okay. They showed up when they said they would and did the work pretty fast. WI Energies was offering a credit if you got your heating unit serviced and I didn't inform them of that when they did the cleaning because I didn't think it matter, but in order to get the credit from WI Energies they had to test the unit before and after they cleaned and they charged more money to do that. The credit I got from WI Energies was basically eaten up by the extra money that they charged for the cleaning.

On Sunday morning I noticed that one zone of our furnace was not putting out heat. I went to Angieslist and identified Seider as a potential fix (they listed emergency service as an option) so I called. Long story short, they showed up, identified the bad part and we were warm again within 2 hours - on a Sunday! Very impresses

It went good overall. The worse was having to wait out the weekend to get the parts. It got down to 49 degrees on Sunday morning. But with 2 space heaters and a sunjel fireplace, we stayed warm enough.
Description of Work: At about 2:30 AM New Years day our furnance gave out on us. I went to Angies list and called Donovan/Jorgensen who was highly rated and said they had 24 hour emergency service. Never got a call back after leaving a detailed message. So by 8AM I called Seider heating&air conditioning. I got a call back in 10 minutes. Mike, the tech, arrived within 3 hours as he stated he would. He diagnosed the problem and found a serious problem that the original installer made 12 years ago. Mike had to wait until monday to get the parts from Trane as I have an American Standard furnance and not a carrier. He quoted me between $1200 - $1500. Fortunately, the parts cost only about $700. Along with his holiday trip charge of $189 it all came to about $900.00! Mike showed up about 8:30 monday morning and was done about 2 hours later.

The fellow who came out spent a good deal of time adjusting and cleaning and generally doing what needed to be done. He listened attentively and tried to please. The cost was fair and, best of all, the furnace and thermostat have done great since they were serviced. Definitely pleased with Seider.
Description of Work: The thermostat was acting up, as it had in previous years. We had already had it replaced more than once, yet we always seemed to have a problem with it. We had never used Seider before and decided to give them a try.

More expensive than originally estimated since they found the motor was bad. Also, the furnace stopped working 2 days later - they came out on a Saturday night and found the problem and had the furnace working within a few hours.
Description of Work: Furnace had stopped working. They came out when scheculed and found the problem. A new part had to be ordered so they were able to do a temporary fix until the part came in. They then replaced the part and the motor.

This is a great company and I will go back to them again if we need to. They were very polite when I called the first time and they were able to send someone out that same day. They had to come out twice, as when they showed up the first time, the furnace decided to work fine. They did not charge us a trip charge the second time, which is nice to see. They were able to fix the problem when they came out the second time, which was a faulty ignitor. They replaced this and everything works great. The service tech knew what he was doing and did not try to sell us anything we didn't need.
Description of Work: Furnace wasn't kicking on at all. Called them on Monday, they came out, furnace worked great, however on Wednesday furnace did not work again. They sent the same tech out, and they discovered it was a faulty ignitor. They replaced this and everything worked great. They did not charge us a second trip charge, which was nice!

Mike S. arrived at 9:15 am and performed the diagnostic evaluation of the furnace. He was very pleasant and professional. He explained the water level was below the burner and above the blower deck. He advised would need new motor, bearings, shaft and combustion chamber to fix the furnace. He recommended a new furnace. He arranged for an appointment for someone from his company to give me an estimate on the cost and installation of a new oil furnace.
Description of Work: Checked furnace (Mueller Oil) after basement received approximately 2 feet water (7/22/2010).
