Good experience overall. Came first time and welded a part for a temporary fix so we could still use the tractor while waiting for permanent part to arrive. Took awhile for part to come in (3 weeks) but once arrived they promptly came back and installed it on a Saturday. Tractor now working just fine. Plan to use them again for snowblower service and standard maintenance.

I use them frequently. I have recommended him to my neighbors. He is so honest.

I had earlier posted an unfavorable report. Mowers and Blowers offered to send me a refund which I have received. I appreciate the owner taking the time and effort to get a client to feel better about the transaction.

Mowers and Blowers had to order a part after there first visit. The part arrived about two weeks later and the problem with the riding mower was resolved quickly.

This company has a neat concept of driving a large truck that contains most of the necessary equipment to do repairs. The driver was courteous and professional. He told us that our cultivator was not repairable. The problem was he said he would get back to us to find out how much it would cost to purchase a new motor for it or buy a new cultivator, but he never got back to us.

It went well except for the unrepaired tire. They were prompt, professional and courteous.

I called them on Monday afternoon, and they were able to make an appointment on Tuesday evening. Andrew called me on Tuesday and said he was early, and if it was OK to drop by. He arrived in his truck about 5 minutes later. I must say having someone come by with a full service workshop is a nice touch. The service itself took no more than about 30 minutes, and he talked through afterwards what he done (including a full clean top and bottom), and advised on how to adjust the self propel if I had problems in the future. I tested it out, and it seemed much better. I certainly appreciated that advice and I'm somewhat handy so can attempt to do it myself in the future. Even so, I suspect I will use them again for my snow blower in the fall as it always good to get it checked out once every few seasons. Overall, a very quick and easy service! Thanks!

Last year Angie's List teamed up with Mowers and Blowers to provide a discount on lawn mower and snow blower tune ups. I didn't need the service at that time, but took down the info for future use. I decided to call them for my brush cutter servive. If I had taken it to my my usual repair spot (Bills Power Center), I knew it would involve several weeks for repair. I called Mowers and Blowers and got service within 5 days. The convenience factor is great! Andrew came to my home at the scheduled time and got the unit running. He is a very personalable, knowledgable guy and did a terific job. I will definitely use the service again.

It went very well. We use this company every spring & fall & they always do excellent work.

The service man drove to my house in a large truck with a well equipped work shop in the back. I was mostly impressed with the convenience of not having to haul my mower to a shop for repair. On the same visit I had him tune up my snow thrower. He had to run an extension cord to an outlet in my garage to have power for his light and tools. The choke cable on my mower had slipped out of position the next time I cut the lawn, but with one call they came right to my house to fix the problem.

As described in the problem area, my snow blower was being cranky. Called Movers and Blowers and set up a Saturday appointment. This company did the repair work out of their truck, at my house. Within 45 minutes the problem was corrected. The price I paid was less than the minimum price quoted to me by two other repair shops.

AWESOME!! He pulled right up to the front of house, got the snow thrower and used the truck lift to put it into the back of his truck where he had it up and running in no time. He also explained to me a few tricks to keeping it running smother. Filled the tires, checked the oil and other moving parts. Will NEVER take my small engine machines anywhere else :)

We were watching the 6o'clock weather on a Friday night and heard the prediction of a snowstorm. Our snowblower had not been working since the last storm. We called Mowers & Blowers at 6:30pm on Friday night, and on Saturday at noon they were at our home fixing our blower. We were impressed with their professionalism and timely manner. We definitely will use them again for all our needs. Needless to say, we were all set for the coming storm.

I thought scheduling the service would be the biggest problem. I called on a Sunday evening just prior to a forecasted blizzard for the area. The team at Mowers and Blowers was very accommodating and scheduled me for the following morning at 9am. The service representative showed up 30 min early, which was perfectly fine, due to the heavy weather expected. I explained the problem and he told me it sounded like a carburetor seal problem. He took the snowblower to his truck and he had the fuel leak fixed within 45 minutes. He even added a fuel line shut off valve so in case the carburetor seal should ever come loose again I don't have the potential hazard of gas leaking all over my garage floor. He explained what I should do at the end of the season to maintain the snowblower properly and prevent further problems. I am really impressed with the level of service provided and I will definitely be a repeat customer as well as referring their work to all of my friends and family. It really saved me the time and headache of packing up the machine and taking it to a service center.

Excellent experience. Andrew called, was running ahead of schedule, so came an hour early. Andrew was very nice, gave me some tips on snow blower maintenance; how to start it better, maintain it better over the summer. So convenient that they will come to my house, as there is no way that I could transport my blower somewhere for repairs. Have used them for my lawn mower in the past, and would definately use again.

They were prompt, finished in a reasonable amount of time. Charges were reasonable and they offered good advice for future operation and care of the mower and blower.

35 year old Sears Twin Cylinder 18HP garden tractor was running bad all of a sudden. My home sale was to include this tractor, and I needed it to at least run for the last few mowings! I was panicking I would have to buy a new tractor. One tech came out, and mowed my entire 1/2 acre trying to duplicate the problem. It of course ran good. We decided to order a new gas cap, to rule out vapor lock. A week later, it ran bad for me. This time the BOSS came and mowed my 1/2 acre almost, and I was there this time. We agreed to attack the caburetor. He ordered parts, and came back in a week and rebuilt it. Mower runs like new now. It is rare to find a company that will not give up on fixing something. For all the effort expended, the price was very fair.

Had an old Craftsman riding mower that wouldn't start and had an electrical problem. I called, left a message, was recontacted within a few hours by Pete. He scheduled an on-site appointment within 2 days, understanding I didn't want to sink too much money into an old mower that might be near it's end. Andrew came out to do the service, arrived 10 minutes early. He was courteous, professional, and fixed ONLY what needed to be fixed. He gave me the Angies discount, and also tips on how to maintain the mower. What a great service for those of us who don't have a truck/trailer to get our equipment to a shop. Very trustworthy and honest.

Mowers and blowers is the best. They are so convenient. They bring the workshop to you and do the job right there on the truck, and they are reasonably priced. The guys we've worked with are always polite and explain everything when done.

The truck pulled up a few minutes early and the service technician knocked on the door. I opened the garage door as my answered the front door. Greetings were done and he got to work. He asked about my problems with the two machines and rolled the generator to the lift on his truck. The generator had been loaded for moving by the people helping me on end and oil had filled the carburetor and air box. Not being sure what else might be wrong I decided it was best to let a pro look at it. They don't see many generators so he did not have a replacement filter with him so he did his best to remove the oil using a solvent. He then cleaned the foam pre-filter and the carburator itself. He opened the bowl and drained it. Reassembled everything, added a gallon of gas, some Sta-bil and fired it up. After running for a few minutes he shut it off and changed the oil, my request. Another quick run and back to the garage and got the mower. The mower had been only running a few seconds and dying. I tried looking at it myself but just changing the gas and cleaning the plug wasn't enough. He put a new air filter on, replaced the spark plug, cleaned the float bowl, spray cleaned the carburetor, and it fired right up. He moved it out of the truck for a longer run and adjusted the dirve control which was a little too tight so the mower wanted to move even when the drive wasn't engaged. I got a couple of tips on maintenance and an offer that the owner could recommend the better models of snow blowers if I would like. Not that he sells them he just would not like to make too regular a customer out of me. Not that these were the difficult repairs but in less than an hour and for less than $100 I have both machines back in operation. One place wanted $70 just to look at the mower and I had to bring it to them. They have earn my trust and my business.

What a wonderful concept with fabulous service! The technician was very punctual, professional, knowledgeable, very attentive to some specific requests I had for adjustments. The price was well below what I had been paying and the work was done quickly and with thorough cleanup. The technician also gave me good suggestions for maintaining and prolonging the life of my lawn tractor. An excellent experience in all respects.

This company comes right to your house, which was super convenient for us because we don't own a vehicle large enough to transport our mower on our own. There was some confusion over the appt time - I made an appt for 4pm and when I got home at 3:30p there was a message on my machine saying they had been there at 2:30 for the appt. I would never have made an appt that early because I'm always still at work. They were nice about it though and fit me in the next day. I'm inclined to think it was a one-off mistake/bad day. The service was great, sharpened the blade, replaced the spark plug, cleaned throughout. The regular service call was supposed to be $73 and since we didn't need the oil change or the filter changed as comes with the normal service, they took off a few dollars, and our total was $67 something. I thought not having to change the oil and filter should have been worth more than $6, particularly since it is a cheap model mower and probably not worth twice the price of the service call even new. Still, they were very convenient and not priced much higher than other companies that provide similiar services. Will probably use them in the winter for snowblower service too.

At first disappointing that they did not have the part and it took a week to get it. Once they had the part, they did a professional and timely installation. The mower is now working well and we would use them again.

I WAS PLEASESD WITH RESPONSE TIME. BOB ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN EXPECTED. PUSHED MY MOWER INTO HIS TRUCK AND WAS DONE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. I HAD EXPLAINED I WOULDN'T PAY MORE THAN $50 BEC AUSE I COULD REPLACE MY MOWER FOR $130. HE AGREED AND THE BILL WAS $56, BUT AFTER DEDUCTING MY $10 COUPON FROM ANGIES LIST, BILL WAS $46. THE MOWER IS WORKING GREAT.
