Mowers & Blowers

He is really great. He's a nice guy, he shows up exactly when he says he will, he does a good job, and he is reasonably priced. I have been extremely pleased with his work. I have recommended him to other people who have been pleased with him too.

He answered my voice mail the same day I left it. Made appointment for the following Saturday. Showed up on time. Performed all services in a very timely fashion. Left no mess. Demonstrated that all machines were working to expectations. Received a multi unit discount. Was professional in all respects. Seems like a pretty nice guy, besides.

It went great. Arrived on time, quickly got the work done, and cleaned the mower so well that it looked like new. We had a problem with the battery going dead. He pointed out that the store where we bought it had installed a battery that was too small and recommended we buy a bigger one. Invited him back to work on my generator!

I had e-mailed, phoned Peter (owner/operator) and about 5 days later he had shown up (in his mobile truck - where the repairs or services are made). We had mutually agreed upon an appointment at 8 pm on a Tuesday night. What's amazing first of all, is the concept of them coming to you and provide their services! The idea of loading up a lawn mower, possibly screwing up your back or scratching up your nicely kept up car is just highly unappealing to me. Whats more would be having to wait for some other ya-hoo repair shop to turn your mower repair around. And, probably in a much lengthier time. By this time your grass is reaching heights of like a corn field in late summer! After having this Toro for only slightly more than three years, I can't recommend it. Too many troubles. Steer clear of steel decked Toro's 22"! Peter didn't say a lot, but he didn't disagree with me either. I think he's pretty honest actually. And, my sincere thanks to him it is running just fine once again. I'd definitely use him again or buy a new Honda mower next time.

If I had called the local company it would have cost $60.00 to pick up and deliver my mower and several days to a week for repair. Having Peter Come to my house and do the repair in 1&1/2 hours was such just so convenient. I was able to mow the same day.

They came to my house took the carburetor apart on my mower and cleaned it. They also installed a shut off valve so I can turn the gas off and on. They changed the oil and it runs great now.

Peter came to my house within 24 hours of my phone call. Very courteous, knowledgeable and timely. This is the third time I have used him in the past two tears for a very old lawnmower. He does a great job.

Pete arrived on time, very courteous and professional. Fixed our problem quickly and tested our mower to make sure it was right. We will use him for all of our "mower and blower" needs in the future.

They responded very quickly in a very busy time. The owner was very organized and came out with a truck that was well equipped to handle the repairs. The truck was even equipped with a lift, so that he could lift the mower up and work on it right there. He's very honest.

Pete came when he said he would, did what I asked him to, was professional, friendly and respectful and charged a fair price to boot. I'll tell my friends and neighbors and use him again.

The mobile service concept is fantastic. I made an appointment by email to Pete's website, listing possible dates when I could be home. Pete replied the same evening, and we agreed to a date a week later. Pete arrived at my home right on time (10 minutes early) and was done with both the mower and blower in half an hour. The price for the snow thrower was half off under a deal on the website at the time, when both the mower and blower are serviced at the same appointment. A great experience.

Arrival was on time, work was efficiently performed. Service professional was courteous.

We called 3 weeks ago to get on Pete's schedule. He came to the house and within 90 minutes had tuned and performed some minor repairs to our Arien's lawnmower. We had a $10 off coupon from Angie's List so our cost was $60.00. Pete is prompt, knowledgeable and provides a wonderful service!

Wednesday, October 10, 2007 Peter showed up on time with his truck to repair our Sears Lawn & Garden Tractor. He hoisted the tractor into his truck for the following work: Replaced all (3) belts, (1 was broken), replaced mower blades, cleaned mower deck, checked & cleaned spark plugs. Also checked & added air to under-inflated tires. All of the work took approximately 2-1/2 hrs. We are in our seventies and my husband can no longer do this kind of labor. Peter did a very good job, and we will call him again. Friday, November 23, 2007 We did call him again. He arrived on time & repaired a flat tire, (inserted a rubber plug and an inner-tube). He also adjusted the carburetor, then tested the mower in our yard. It took approximately 1-1/2 hrs. Charged $78.77. We are very pleased with his work. He's a "keeper"!

This is such a great idea to actually do the work at our home. In the past, we've had to pay pick up and delivery charges in addition to the cost of the tune-up when we used other companies which made it very expensive.

Went very well. I have had Mowers and Blowers service my mower and am very pleased. It's great in this day and age to get fantastic customer service, and it is very rare. Thanks Mowers and Blowers.

I was very pleased with his work. He arrived when he said he would and finished the job in what I thought was a short period of time. I think the mobile unit is an excellent idea. The cost of the service was less than I expected it to be. On second visit, I called him on Tuesday, 10/24. He said he could do it on Saturday, 10/27, at 8:30 AM He arrived a few minutes before 8:30 and finished shortly before 9:30. Pete is a very pleasant gentleman and it is a pleasure to do business with him.

I called for an appointment and Pete gave me times when he could come out the next day. He arrived a little earlier then the appointment time. He came and first checked a lawn mower that we have not been able to start in two years and he got it running but it sounded like something was rattling inside the engine and he was unable to fix that. He looked at our other lawn mower and tuned it up and sharpened the blade. He looked at our small snow blower which is twenty plus years old and inspected the drum which he stated was cracked and the blades were worn so he was unable to fix it. He stated if we took it in to another company, it would probably cost us more to repair than buying a new one. Lastly, he tuned up and inspected a two stage snow blower. He was very honest, prompt and efficient. We are very satisfied and his pricing was very reasonable.

On time, great service. He put in a lot of work on a hot October day.

Very prompt and extremely convenient because they come to you. The price was reasonable.

Pete showed up about 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment.(When was the last time THAT happened to you?) He inspected, oiled and lubed what needed to be. Also checked out the belts and transmission and replaced the skids. This was all done at my location, on a Saturday morning, which is great for us working stiffs.

I called Pete Meenk to ask him to do an on-site tune-up of our riding mower. Pete made an appointment and arrived on that day. After checking the mower, he advised us that we didn't need a tune-up and charged us just the 22.00 for the check-up. I appreciated his honesty. I'll call him again.
