Mavroff The Mulch Man

Do Not buy topsoil at Mavroff on Watertown rd. It is all clay balls, rocks and foreign matter. I had them dump a load in the back of my pick up truck. When I was shoveling it out I kept thinking I would get down to the good stuff. There is no good stuff! I went back and asked for my money $20 back so could I could buy bags and fill in between the clay balls. He said No because it is his supplier that is at fault. How can get grass to grow in this stuff? He also said that he can’t be responsible for what people use his topsoil for - many people use it for fill. 😡

The delivery was prompt, exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I would used them again.

That was fine. They came out and they put the mulch out. I have used them before. They did a good job. They dropped the mulch in the driveway and it was reasonably priced.

I contacted Mavroff based on the positive reviews from Angie's List. I also had a positive experience from the time I contacted them through the actual delivery of the mulch. The person I contacted was able to help me decide on the right type of mulch I needed as well as the quantity. They delivered the product on time and the driver was very friendly. I would recommend this company and will use them in the future.

We did like the mulch; it was very good. They did a really good job and were very prompt. We had called them in the morning and they informed us that they could probably deliver it on the same day but later in the morning. We were delighted because they showed up 45 minutes later. We were asked them some questions because we were down to two different types of mulch. They explained to us why one was better than the other and without any pressure they answered the questions very well. They helped us choose whey one we wanted to go with. The gentleman who brought the mulch by truck was not what we expected. We had expected some delivery guy but he looked like he just stepped out of the office. He was very polite and well mannered; we were very impressed by him.

Service was quick and product was excellent. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful; I will definitely use them again.

Ordered 8 yards of mulch late on Thursday afternoon& they were able to deliver next day. Quality of mulch has always been good & they placed it exactly where I specified. Will be using them again for sure.

After I ordered, it was delivered immediately. Overall, I was very satisfied with their process and I will use them again.

I placed an order at their office on a Wednesday and they delivered the next day just as I had instructed. I believe they would have delivered the same day if I needed.

HEY HELPED US FIGURE OUT THE CALCULATION SO WE COULD FIGURE OUT EXACTLY HOW MUCH MULCH WE NEEDED. I THINK WE WERE OVER ESTIMATING WITH SOME OF THE OTHER COMPANIES WE HAD GONE WITH BEFORE.

I went in person to order the mulch around 12:30 pm. I drew a small map to show where I wanted the mulch placed on my driveway. At 1:30 pm. I received a call from the delivery person reminding me that I had a drain in my driveway where I had requested the mulch be placed. I was very pleased that he had taken the time to ask me about the drain instead of just dumping the mulch on top of it and clogging the drain. I couldn't believe how fast they delivered, and would definitely order from them again.

Good choice of products. Next day delivery. Arrived on time. No surprises. Office help seemed new & not fully trained, but back-up was right there to answer the questions she couldn't.

THEY DELIVERED 3 TIMES DURING THE DAY AND WERE VERY PLEASANT AND TIMELY. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN. THEIR MULCH WAS GREAT AND PRICING WAS VERY GOOD. VERY NICE DRIVERS.
