Mike and his crew were fabulous to work with! They did an excellent job! It turned out that I actually had a different type of ceiling than what I originally thought I had. Mike went above and beyond to get the job done, perfectly. I highly recommend MAE Contracting!

Mike and his crew did an excellent job on my roof. I had a 2 layer tear off along with other unforeseen issues and everything was taken care of correctly the 1st time. Mike spent the time with me explaining what needed to be done in order for the new roof to last and answered every question that I had. Mike and his crew also installed my new gutters and some facia that had rotted over the years from the last 2 roofs not being installed correctly. His crew did an outstanding clean up job and even came back after completion to pick up any residual waste that appeared. I am extremely happy with Mikes services and I would highly recommend him to friend's, neighbors and my own clients.

I am 77 and live out of town. Talk about being vulnerable. My old stucco house needed a lot of work. Mike replaced and repaired all the stucco- painted the entire exterior even the parts not negotiated. He is a detail person who takes pride in his work. Hire him you will not be disappointed. I plan to use them again.

My husband and I contracted with MAE Contracting, LLC, Michael Garcia, for the purposes of building a deck. Once the job started there were lots of red flags about his quality of work. The deck was built so poorly that it would not pass proper codes. Furthermore, he used damaged materials in the construction of our deck. We also found damage to our siding, a large chunk from our driveway is missing, and buried trash and other garbage below our deck. Overall it has been a nightmare to deal with this contractor, because after we hired him, it was clear that he does not have the qualifications to build a deck, and he never takes any responsibility to fix anything or to do what he says he will do. We caught him in numerous lies and in general we feel he is unethical. We will never recommend this company or Michael Garcia himself, to anyone and he needs to be taken off the Angi platform before anyone else is harmed.

Mike took a lot of time to make sure he did the job right.

Mike updated my 1980's wood bannister to a mixture of wood and metal. Originally, I had him out to give me a quote to just do the carpentry work to install the quoted fabricator's fence insert design. When he looked at the project, he said he could do the entire job. The entire job was $650 less than just the fabricator's quote. The finished bannister is beautiful. The work area was left spotless as if he was never there. He was able to do the work in the exact framework of my time schedule. He will be my go to carpenter.

I would like to say that Mike is a very hard-working man. He puts everything he has into making sure the job is done right. He made my bathroom look like a showroom even though I have an old house from 1937 that doesnâ  t have straight walls. There were many challenges, but Mike worked them all out. Everything in the bathroom was replaced. First, he relocated my toilet. This was not an easy task as the cast iron stack arm in the basement had to be cut and moved over with new plumbing. Next the plumbing was moved for the new sink to accommodate the new toilet position. The electrical had to be moved as well. He also took the cast iron tub and tile out of the shower and replaced with new. He textured walls and installed new flooring. The bathroom looks great and couldnâ  t have asked for a better contractor.

Great communication and offered several solutions for my problem. Great response time and work!!

Mike is awesome! He and his crew were hard working and professional. He attended to every detail of the projects no matter how small. I felt that Mike thought he was working on his own home and not just doing a job for a customer. He is a very creative young man and came up with solutions that were unique and pleasing to the eye. He put on the siding, replaced windows and doors, Replaced a fence gate and did an amazing job on designing and fixing my brick front porch. The railing that he designed is a show piece! Love, love, love everything about Mike and his crew!!! Sue K.

They called within minutes of me talking to HomeAdvisor, came over to look at the job at 4pm on Thursday and left me some samples. On Friday I called and told them to do the job and because I had selected a specific make of shingle they told me that the work would be $200 less than the initial estimate. They arrived the following Monday and despite the cold weather they finished the job that day. They were conscientious about cleaning up as we have small children and we are very happy with their workmanship and the roof looks great.
