replacement windows
+ -1 moreTwo Great Day Improvements window experts arrived on time, removed our old damaged double pane glass, and installed the new double pane glass. They took the old glass with them, and did an excellent job of cleaning up. It took about an hour for them to do all of this.
Description of Work: Many years ago (25?), Stanek windows installed all new windows in our home. Stanek gave us a lifetime guarantee on the windows. Unfortunately, Stanek went out of business in about 2012. Great Day Improvements, LLC acquired the Stanek product line when Stanek went out of business. They continue to make Stanek products (with some improvements that they made to the products). Although, they would not have to, Great Day Improvements decided to honor the Stanek guarantee for windows that Stanek installed before they went out of business. However, they do charge a $75 service call fee when they repair old Stanek products. Recently, our large living room picture window's seal broke between the double panes of glass. So, we asked Great Day Improvements to replace the double pane glass. We emailed a photo of the damaged window to them. Since they kept all of the old Stanek records, they had a record of our old window installation. So, they did not have to come to our home to measure the window. They ordered (from another Great Day Improvements location) new glass for our window. When they got the new double pane glass, they scheduled a time to install it with us. They installed the new replacement glass on March 6, 2019.
