+ -1 moreExcellent. I don't think I can properly put into words how much we loved working with Lisa and the entire team at Giertsen. After having been lied to by a well established contractor from the Milwaukee area, Giertsen and Lisa completely saved the day. Their practicality and their honesty as well as their ability to work with the customer is far superior and light years ahead of anyone that we met in the process of having our kitchen repaired. When we began the process of restoring the house, after a long debate with the insurance company. We discovered that the pipes had frozen within the house. The contractor informed us that some basic and quot;winterizingand quot; things such as removal of traps and use of antifreeze and draining of water had not been done because they would still be visible.
Description of Work: Provided board up and winterizing services for our family after a fire.

Description of Work: They were excellent. It was somewhat by chance that I choose them and I was anxious. But they were extremely fair and went beyond what I ever could have expected. Having your home go up in flames leaves you in a numbing vulnerable state I anticipated being a lamb to the wolves, but 90% of the companies I dealt with were honest and fair...Giertsen and State Farm were the 2 biggest players. Both were excellent.

Description of Work: There work seemed good, but because they were working for the land lord to remove the mold in the house they felt they should not help us. A conflict of interest they told me. 5 days after they started the job, so the land lord could try & keep us on the lease. We were forced to use outside help at the last minute!!! Thanks for the heads up!!!!! Jerks!
