It went fine. They were very nice and they came when they said they would. However I expected different carpeting than I got. I don't know whether it is a cheaper carpeting than what appeared on the sample. They did a nice job of installing it. Then on the wood floor, there was a section that I had expected was going to be replaced and it wasn't. The guy said that it was too difficult and there weren't enough pieces of wood left to make the repair in that particular space.

They came on sight to our house and measured area. Offered excellent customer service with no high sale pressure and delivered product to us.

Contacted them earlier in the day and they were able to fit us in the same day. They were professional and enthusiastic about helping us complete this small project. We will be contacting them again for whatever carpet needs we might have in the future.

We had a great experience with Matt, Michelle, and this company as a whole. We will definitely use them for our carpet and flooring needs in the future. The entire process of working with them is awesome - Matt comes to your house - so you do not need to be at the mercy of whoever is on the schedule at a big box store to be helped. He walked us through the entire process, they were constantly in touch while doing the work, and most importantly, the final product is beautiful. Highly recommended by us!

Floor Coverings International's owner Matt Werner consulted with us in our home. He provided thorough information and a wealth of knowledge about our options. There was no high-pressure sales technique - Matt is a genuinely nice person you will enjoy meeting. Michelle Werner was our project manager, and she made sure every aspect of the install went as smoothly as possible, handling every step with professionalism and a smile. Every person who worked on our floors had the highest standards for workmanship and customer service. And they were also lovely people who made sure I was comfortable and well informed about the process. They were all very careful to keep the work areas as clean as possible and were careful with our furniture and walls. They were even really nice to my big, friendly dog.Our floors look gorgeous - we are absolutely thrilled with the results!!!!Floor Coverings International provided high quality materials, superior workmanship and top notch customer care. I will recommend them enthusiastically and will work with them again for any future projects.

I called them with VERY short notice to purchase and install new carpeting (less then a week!).? I have used them several times, always happily satisfied!? Matt came out to my home quickly, we picked it out and it was installed in less then a week!? They are very friendly, helpful and honest!? Matt is amazing!? They treat you like family and they make sure you're satisfied after the job is done!? I would recommend them to anyone!

FCI was great. The came in while we went on vacation and refinished our water damaged hard wood floors. They were helpful in advising on the type of finish we needed and also doing the detail work that the original installers over looked. We think they are great and will use them in the future for all our flooring needs.

Floor Coverings International saved us $1,000 by keeping us from making a big mistake. Showed the cornet flooring for our room and had the best price. Great installer who did a great job!

I am a project manager at an engineering firm. We are currently located in Madison, but we just opened a new sector in the Milwaukee area (offices located in Pewaukee). I was put in charge of making sure that the new offices were move in ready by the end of August. Once we had the walls up, we looked for flooring. We had found Floor Coverings International on Angie's List and decided after reviewing several quotes that they had the best quote price (by a long shot! $3,000 compared to $5-7,000). Matt Werner had come out in early July to give us the quote. At that time, Mr. Werner gave us several different choices in flooring. He advised us on which type of carpeting was best for commercial use and the reasons why. He also steered us away from laminate flooring in the kitchen. He said that the luxury tile was water resistant and of much higher quality for almost the same price! We decided that water resistant flooring sounded like a good idea in a kitchen! Hello! After we got our quote, some of our contractors fell behind. Each time we changed the installation date, Floor Coverings International made it easy to set up a new time and date that helped us stay on schedule to finish at the end of August. We even had a last minute adjustment to the quote (we wanted to add a pad to the carpeting) and they made it effortless to make the change.The day they came to put in the subfloors, we had a small problem in our office. Our plumber was supposed to remove the toilet and shut off the water so that the flooring could be put down in the bathroom. For some reason this was not done. Michelle at Floor Coverings called me and offered to call their master plumber to remove the toilet. It was very helpful!!Overall, Floor Coverings International has AMAZING customer service! You can tell that they really care about their customers and that their customers value their high standards. The floors in our offices look fantastic! They match the paint and cupboards in the kitchen perfectly, and with the new subfloor, the floors are more even and more comfortable to walk on (there are no height changes between rooms anymore).We will without a doubt be using Floor Coverings International in the future when we carpet our other offices and bathrooms within this building. We would recommend them to customers who appreciate outstanding customer service, flexibility, and knowledgeable contractors.

It was a great process. Within 3 days we had new tile, and more importantly, all baseboards were in perfect condition.

The experience was awesome!!! from the first appointment with Matt to the end. Matt is so personable you feel like you've known him for years. The day he came for the quote he arrived promptly when he said he'd be there. He did not rush us and made us feel like we were his only appointment for the day. He had all the samples we requested and explained each and every wood to us. He never once lead us in any direction. Letting us make up our own mind yet always helping with any questions we had. Matt and his sister Michelle checked in every day of installation to see how things were going if we had any concerns. The installation took 3 days for the wood and 11/2 hrs. the 4th day for the carpeting. The installer Andy was very knowledgeable and we feel did a good job. We were missing one transition piece by the front door and Matt & Michelle came & put it down and they even put some Mortar around the fireplace where there was a gap. They did their final walk through and wanted to know if there was anything we were unhappy about. We are so happy with our decision to go with Floor Covering International and in the future if we were to need any other services they offer they would be our 1st choice. You are the best!!!!!!!!!!

I should say I have no beef with this company. They are extremely nice people and seem very conscientious. However their installer made a pretty bad mistake on my job. They told me several times in advance of the job that hickory flooring varies considerably in color and value (lightness/darkness). Then THEY failed to take that into account! What happened was that they had six or seven boxes of flooring boards, and the installer cracked open one box, installed the whole thing, and then opened the second box...which was several shades darker than the first box. So I have an area of the floor that is all light, then, right next to it, an area that is all dark. As soon as I realized what was happening I asked the installer to open all the boxes and mix up all the boards and install them randomly. So the colors/values of the boards in the remainder of the room is randomized, and looks like it's supposed to. Luckily the bad area is mostly under where the bed goes and won't bother me on a daily basis. It's still far from ideal. FCI offered me several fixes for the mishap, including starting over, but I was not happy with any of the options, all of which involved some sort of compromise to the integrity of the floor or inconvenience for me. I decided to live with the mistake. But it was a pretty bad mistake. I thought they should have given me a discount on the job considering they made such a blatant mistake, but that was the only thing they did not offer to do. I would *probably* hire this company again anyway. I don't know, I'd have to think about it. (We have lots more flooring to replace in the house so I'll actually have to decide.) They seem like nice folks, and the installer was a nice guy and worked hard. He worked neatly and quickly and kept at it. The floor in the "good" part of the room looks super. I'll bet he doesn't mess up like this very often.

Provider did not follow up on our phone calls and was not good scheduling appointments. It was very hard to reach him after the initial estimate. He lost a sale, but luckily I found someone cheaper with a better product.

The service went very well overall! They were friendly and thorough. Matt or Michelle would stop by or call every day to make sure everything was going well. The installer cleaned up each day, and we’re very happy with them! They did a great job. In fact, we may use their services for a carpet installation!

They were very good to work with! They called us back right away, showed up when they said they would, and had the appropriate samples needed. The salesman, Dave, was great. Michelle, the employee who answered the phone and scheduled everything, was also great to work with. They were great with answering questions and were very responsive. They're prices were a bit higher, but the carpeting is of high-quality that also comes with a lifetime warranty, including stains.

They were excellent. They came in with samples so I didn't have to run back and forth between the store and my home. He was spot on with his samples based of the discussions we had over the phone. The quote came in at much less than what we were offering from other places. The only issue I had was that the person who installed the carpeting was a smoker and left butts in my yard.

The service was great overall! They did a wonderful job. I came across this company when I went to a home show last February. The owner, Matt, was very helpful. He came out to my home with samples of things I had in mind, and within two weeks, I had both hardwood and carpeting installed in my home! The last day that they were here installing the floors, the installer had some family issues so he seemed to be in a hurry. He left a bit of a mess, however, within a few days, however, Matt and his sister came out to clean everything up!

I thought it went really well. Matt Werner had carefully explained the process when he came to my house to give me an estimate. Each day, Jeremy and Drew also gave me a rundown of what they were going to do that day. They use a dustless system and it did a pretty good job of capturing all the sanding dust. I was amazed how little I had to clean up, especially when I saw how much sanding dust was in the receptacle. When it came time to choose a stain, they were wonderful...and really patient. They showed me several options and were very willing and helpful in trying the stain in different areas so I could see how it looks with the rest of the oak woodwork in my home. Michelle, the project manager visited each day to check on things and deliver supplies. The floors look beautiful and I love the new look. I am so very pleased with how well this project went. All involved were really good at communicating what they were doing and how to care for the finished floors. They were on time and cleaned up every day before they left. I really appreciated how considerate they were of my home...and my pets.
