+ -1 moreThe technician was pleasant and completed the work quickly. I really appreciated his taking a little extra time to point out the repairs he made before he closed up the box.
Description of Work: The circuit breaker for the floor heater in our master bath tripped and would not reset. Since I am not that familiar with electrical issues, I checked Angie's list for electricians close to me. Elect-Tech has several very good ratings so I gave them a call. The technician arrived at the agreed time and went to work. He found that the breaker itself had failed. He replaced the breaker and checked everything out to make sure there weren't any other issues contributing to the problem.

Description of Work: I contacted Elect-Tech as the company was highly recommended by my neighbor. The electrician replaced two ceiling fans and made wiring adjustments to some outlets. He did an excellent job. | |He was here for just over three hours and I was billed for four. I called the office and the bill was adjusted to three hours. I was also charged for $37 in parts, something that I didn't catch when I called about the hours billed. The electrician sent me to the hardware store for two switches which I paid for ($52.00), and these were the only extra parts needed. I didn't notice this charge before I made payment, and did not receive a credit for this charge when I questioned it. The work was done well, but I think the person doing the work might not have been completely ethical in the way he accounted for the service call. | |Since the work was done well, I would still recommend this company. I would suggest, though, to make note of the arrival and departure times of the electrician, and to check your invoice for additional charges.

+ 0 moreI have used them several times. They were very responsive. I picked out the ceiling fans and they put them together for me and they hung them. They cleaned up after themselves. They were wonderful.
