Description of Work: They installed roller shades throughout our entire first floor and in our master bathroom. It was a mix of remote controlled shades and corded shades. We had an initial consult where they brought samples and quoted us a price, which was very accurate in the end. Installation was very efficient and quick and they showed us how to use our remote for the electric shades. They always wore show covers so our hardwood was not dirtied or scratched. It's a family business and the product is manufactured locally, which we liked. We did not price compare because, honestly, we were too lazy and wanted to get rid of our temp blinds asap. I guess our only criticism, and this is minor, is that they didn't clean up the small amount of drill dust from installation. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: Installed vertical blinds with valances in three bedrooms , two rooms with double windows & one with a single window. |They were on-time, courteous, helpful in moving furniture away from the windows, professional in their approach to their job. The areas were left clean and all debris went with them. I was encouraged to ask questions on the use and care of the blinds & to call the office if I had any problems with the blinds or operations. The fabric of the blinds and trims fit beautifully in the color scheme of each room. I have used BVBlind in the past with my present home and at another residence. It is a family owned business who cares about the quality of materials and workmanship of their products

+ -1 moreTHIS IS A FAMILY-OWNED LOCAL BUSINESS AND I WOULD SAY THEY WERE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SOME OF THE CHAINS THAT DO THIS WORK, BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! WE SPOKE WITH LISA, WHO WAS VERY PLEASANT AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE THE NEXT DAY. TOM, HER FATHER, TOOK A LOT OF TIME WITH US AND GAVE US HELPFUL ADVICE ON CHOOSING COLORS. THE ESTIMATE WAS DONE THE END OF MAY, AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED DURING THE TIME FRAME THAT WAS PROMISED. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE AT WORK WHEN LISA AND HER BROTHER COMPLETED THE WORK. WHEN WE CAME HOME, THE ROOMS WITH THE NEW WINDOW TREATMENTS LOOKED AMAZING! FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE LOOK! WE DID NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A GAP BETWEEN TWO OF THE BLINDS IN THE BEDROOM. WHEN WE CALLED, SOMEONE CAME WITHIN A DAY, AND DID SOME TEMPORARY ADJUSTMENTS, UNTIL A NEW VALANCE WAS MADE TO LINE UP WITH THOSE ADJUSTMENTS. WE KNOW THAT IF WE EVER HAVE ANY CONCERNS THAT THE PACHOLSKI FAMILY WILL TAKE CARE OF US. IT'S A GREAT FEELING!
Description of Work: THREE VERTICAL BLINDS, FIVE DESIGNER SHADES, ONE CUSTOM VALANCE, AND ONE VALANCE INSTALLED IN THE LIVING ROOM. OUR LIVING ROOM PICTURE WINDOWS ARE QUITE EXPANSIVE, SO THE BLINDS, SHADES, AND VALANCE HAD TO COVER QUITE A BIT OF WINDOW SPACE. TWO DECORATIVE SHADES AND TWO VALANCES WERE INSTALLED IN THE KITCHEN. TWO VERTICAL ROOM-DARKENING BLINDS, 3 DESIGNER ROOM-DARKENING SHADES, AND ONE CUSTOM VALANCE INSTALLED IN THE BEDROOM. ALL MATERIALS WERE HAULED AWAY AND THERE IS A THREE YEAR WARRANTY.

+ -1 moreTHE SALES PEOPLE IN THE SHOP WERE VERY FRIENDLY. HOWEVER, WHEN JIM ACTUALLY CAME TO THE HOME HE DIDN'T HAVE MANY IDEAS. HE ALSO QUOTED A PRICE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION ON RIGHT THEN. HE DID NOT SEEM TO BE INTERESTED IN HELPING ME GET THE JOB DONE. HE DID CALL TO TELL ME HE WOULD BE LATE, AND WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE.
