Description of Work: Sam and Ron were punctual and efficient in fixing a broken valve on our refrigerator. Very pleasant and professional.Not only did they fix our Amana - but they were kind enough (and STRONG enough!) to move our Steinway piano! Absolutely,I would call them again (and highly recommend them) for any appliance repairs!

Description of Work: I called about a problem with my refrigerator and I received adivce over the phone which corrected the problem. I am not sure how many places were do that and not come out for an estimate.

+ -1 moreAppliance Repair Service could have attempted to repair the appliance (and get paid for it), but since they didn't have access to the right parts and service manuals, they took the better approach: they declined the job. Without charge. We will definitely choose them the next time we need a repair (on a non-Monogram appliance).
Description of Work: We scheduled service on a GE Monogram refrigerator, because we couldn't get GE to come and service the refrigerator for another several days. Appliance Repair Service showed up the next morning, as scheduled. Unfortunately, they weren't able to fix the refrigerator, because the repair information isn't available--GE handles their own service on Monogram appliances.

+ -1 moreThe problem had me stymied. Ron fixed it in a reasonable amount of time, gave me advice for the machine, and then cleaned up after himself as he left.
Description of Work: Our Maytag washer was not draining. Ron responded to our phone call quickly and came out the next morning. He was able to quickly go through the list of simple and more complicated possible causes, isolated the actual problem, and fixed it. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, competent and efficient.

+ -1 moreI hooked up the water as the manual stated, but the ice maker wouldn't work. I called Ron at Appliance Repair Service and he came to service the unit the same day. Ron replaced the ice maker only to determines that the water valve was also burned out. He had to order the part. While I expected this to take several days, Ron made arrangements to get the part the next day. Showed up as arranged, and replaced the valve. I cannot understate how impressed I am with the service I got from Ron. Despite the problems with Sears, where I bought the unit, Ron came through with fast, professional service and he's a nice guy too.
Description of Work: Ice maker would not work in refrigerator & freezer despite never having been used. Based on Angie's List rating. I called Appliance Repair Service to diagnose/repair the problem.

Description of Work: Identified problem/cause of no heat in gas oven. Replaced igniter in a gas range.
