Cream City Tub & Tile

John showed up with dirty tennis shoes and no shoe covers, no tarp or anything to cover our new ceramic tile entryway and new carpet on the stairs. He said he had to come in and out quite a bit and if he had to take off his shoes or something he would be here all day and he had another job today. He asked me to reschedule now so he can bring something to cover the floors. Can't understand why a contractor coming to someone's home is not prepared and why taking shoes off would blow up his schedule. I now have to put my bathroom back together, rearrange my work schedule and start the whole process over with someone else...very frustrating.

I was remodeling my bathroom and didn't want to have to replace an almond tub and surround that was in good shape. John came out and in less than 24 hours, changed the color to a more contemporary white. Great guy to work with. Very happy with the results.

It didn't. The work wasn't performed. First visit: said the drain was backing up so the work couldn't be done that day. I was unaware of this; the tenant didn't inform me. 2d visit: Now states the drain plug/stopper and overflow cover hadn't been replaced. No mention of this was made previously. Job not done. Afterward some major repairs/renovations took place so this project was put on the back burner to prevent damage. Subsequently a decision was made to sell the home; thus eliminating the need to have this work done. According to Angie's List rep, refund was to be made by Cream City; however, in a msg the owner sent, he said he would look into it, but no refund; no subsequent responses. Getting nothing has cost me $299.00 so far. Two part question above: Money paid? (Yes); services performed? No -- nothing was done. The reactions from my complaint thus far suggest they want to keep the money.

They explained the process to help me understand what they were doing, why, and what I needed to do ahead of time to ensure success. Very satisfied with the finished product! our 100-year-old tub looks brand new!

I am very satisfied with the work and the look of the refinished tub. Main reason for refinishing was to change the color from green to white. Technician arrived on time and proceeded to tape and mask everything in the bathroom. John arrived later and the two of them installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom window to remove fumes during the refinishing. The job took about 2 hours. John came back the next day to remove the masking and install a non-slip mat. The work was done in December of 2016 and after 2 and 1/2 years the finish still looks great.

Very difficult to make appointment, although people were always very pleasant. When work was finally done, color was not what we expected-not contractor's fault! It was redone at a discounted price, but surface has come off, and tub is again pink! I've contacted them since October with promises to get back to us, but they never have.

They came while I was on vacation and the tub refinish looked great. Very easy to schedule and correspond. One of their staff members even texted me photos when they finished.

Took a while to connect and get on their schedule. However once the date was set they were on time and completed. Warning: the refinish product smells very dopey. You will need to be able to open windows.

My counters looked amazing! You could not tell that they weren't actually granite. We had very old counters and John and his crew did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them!

Both of my my units are 30 years old. The original tub color was yellow and it was scratched up. Now it’s white and beautiful! The walk in shower was white, stained and dingy. Now it’s gorgeous. If you are going to have this done, hire a great pro like John! It’s well worth it.

Great! I didn't comment on punctuality because we got a major snow storm on our scheduled maintenance that disrupted driving conditions.

Great. My old tub was nasty, stained the finish dull. I checked other reviews for Cream City and very positive so I purchased through Angies List. They came in and assessed the condition, noted I had a couple loose tiles which they could take care of at a very reasonable cost. The refinishing was done in one day, they came back the following day. Awesome job. Highly recommend

Very pleased with the work as well as the thorough preparation of the room and subsequent finishing and clean up.

John and Andrea did a superb job refinishing our old tub and vintage cast-iron pedestal sink. The results were just beautiful.

It went as expected. He did go above and beyond to help with the door. Overall quality was good.

It went well. Very smelly process so wouldn't recommend doing it when you can't keep the windows open comfortably.

The whole job went great. So knowledgeable and well organinized. The odor was pretty bad so I would just advise doing this when you can open the windows.
