The professional installation by this company is like a bad DIY project. There are at least a dozen mistakes throughout the first floor. For example, we paid extra to have the flooring undercut around our fireplace and it is awful, not undercut at all. Also, instead of removing the toilet (also an extra charge we paid for), they cut around it and then cut in a filler piece to fill the gap. The floor failed twice (lifting, separating) and was replaced once. We waited over nine months for Webb to replace it the second time, receiving many excuses and projected install dates. We eventually asked/received our money back. We could go on and on about how awful our floor installation was by this company. I've heard they do a good job with carpeting, but as far as hard flooring goes or any type of detail work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Instead of beautiful, professionally installed floors, we have embarrassingly shoddy floors. It has been several years now, but I have had a few people recommend this company to friends and felt compelled to write this review. Hopefully installation has improved with time.

The work did not turn out well at all. I took them to small claims court. We argued back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. Shaw Flooring will not stand behind it's product at all, which is very disappointing. In January, it was three years old. It started to curl and buckle both side ways and length ways, almost immediately. I called that to Mr. Webb's attention. He politely ignored all of our claims. I went to Shaw. They said it wasn't their product, it was the installation. Mr. Webb ignored all of our queries. He didn't answer any emails, he didn't answer any phone calls. Very unsatisfactory. It was a very disappointing experience. The floor is still down. I have not made a decision as to what to do with it yet. Shaw sent an inspector to look at the flooring. I also had someone else come and look at the floor when I started the proceedings. Mr. Webb claimed that the flooring could be repaired, but this other guy said "absolutely not. You need to take it up." He's the second person to say that.
