He did a very good job and I would definitely hire him again. He was able to come out right away and I would highly recommend him as well.
Description of Work: He did some handyman work including replacing broken window panes, replaced a broken block in the foundation and took care of a couple of problem door locks.

Super well. Dan is a licensed electrician and has done other quick fix-its around here too. He's a pleasure to work with and I would definitely call him again.
Description of Work: Haiku fan installed, SkyBell doorbell installed and wiring from our house to a pole barn in PVC pipe after we dug a trench the entire distance.

The work was finished then i received the bill. The hours worked were inflated by 15hrs. He stole the old switches. He lies about his time at the job even though guard house records show the correct time. He is a complete jerk, stay away from this clown.
Description of Work: Hired to run electric and cable for 2 tvs. Added on replacing 14 switches.

Wow, I just saw this! This is just ridiculous! I had a three day pass from the guard house and because they only wrote me in for the first day, he thought he could cheat me out of the other two days. He didn't want the old switches so I threw them away. They had paint on them and were ivory. He was horrible to work with and I had to put a lien on his house. I try not to put people down, but I would warn anyone of every working with this guy!

I was quoted a price for the tv.s, then confirmed the costs for running the cable as well. I have worked with contractors in the past without a contract, just a hand shake. He seemed like a nice guy and price was reasonable since I had received other quotes. So I hired him on the spot with a hand shake. I did not get the quote on paper - BIG Mistake! He finishes the job then gives me a bill for time and materials. No rate was ever discussed and the time worked was inflated by 15hrs. I called him on it and showed him the text messages and guard gate records of his arrival. His itemized bill is incorrect and he stole my old switches as well. I said to him, the only fair thing is to pay for 1) the time at the job,2) the materials used and I even threw in 2 hours of picking up the materials. His answer to over billing even though he has the time records is - pay the bill or I lien your house. Either he comes to his senses and accepts reality and sends a correct invoice or we go to court. What a complete jerk, stay away from this clown!
Description of Work: Dan the con-man - I hired this clown to run some electric and cable to my tvs. and replace 14 -3way switches and plates.

Description of Work: Scaped & caulked shower. Because of the condition of the existing caulk it took longer to remove the existing caulk. Dan gave me the option of completing that task on my own to keep my cost lower. He also discussed the type of material required so I could purchase it ahead of time and be ready to go. He's very pleasant and easy to work with.

I would NEVER use this contractor AGAIN NOR should anyone else unless you are willing to take his S***.
Description of Work: This contractor has made me wait over a month to complete less than one days work since inspection. Once telling him that I had waited long enough he told me tuff and if I keep bothering him it will be two more weeks. Once I fired him he called building inspector and cryed like a baby.

What he failed to mention was the inspector told him to replace beams, rafters, stairs, and walls after my work was complete. He thought he could reuse old material and old staircases from the 30's and get away with it. He even tried to get me to use old pipe and other material, which was the wrong size. I refused and took his tongue lashings. I had to go back and redo everything, even though I am too busy to go back for redo's, but I did one day and he wasn't ready for me to finish everything. He still had to finish walls and rafters in the upstairs and main floor. He had the basement done and part of the main floor done. I told him he needed to get on the schedule for the next trip out, but he flipped out on me. He verbally abused me so I fired him, then told the inspector to take my license off his permit since he told me he would do my work. Actually, his exact words were, "you can easily be replaced." Then he stuck to his threat of writing a bad review on Angie's list after the inspector called him about my departure. It isn't fair I put other clients on hold, who were on the schedule, because he couldn't do the work right the first time or even finish his corrections all at once. I hate that it had to come to that! I treat every customer the with respect and do the work to the best of my abilities. There are times when we don't see eye to eye, but I have always worked with my clients until now. I had to put down the hammer, but only after I couldn't take the verbal abuse anymore. I do hope I never have to fire another client again. Since all that, I sent him the bill and his response to me was, "So when you going to come finish the job?!"

Went very well. He was very nice when I had to call him in the evening because I didn't understand a couple of things.
Description of Work: Installed Schlage door handle and upgraded a regular outlet to a GFCI outlet in bathroom. He also repaired deck railing spindles that our dog had bent and knocked out in pursuit of squirrels.
