Response from Boneck's Professional Pool Builders Inc
I am sorry to hear this customer did not have a good experience with our company. At times...because of our honesty...people are not always happy with what they hear from us. And...we may appear short at times because of this. We've been known to say that we don't recommend putting in a pool for one reason or another...or if it was our yard...we wouldn't do it. We don't like to sell a pool for the sake of selling a pool...no matter what size it is. With our years of experience...we know when areas are not completely conducive to a pool. Sometimes it's more mild issues...like trees with leaves blowing into the pool, etc. And sometimes it can be bigger problems...like drainage issues, etc. We could put a pool in now...and make the quick sale and make the money...but down the road when there will/could be potential problems or issues...the customer could come back to us and be upset. It's our reputation that's on the line too. And...not to mention we'd have to try to rectify the problem if it got to that point. We try to avoid problems before they occur. It's not just a pool that goes in the yard...it's also concrete decking and fencing. If there is a problem with drainage...then there could be potential issues down the road with the pool and concrete staying level...and the concrete cracking. We treat each property as if it was our own. If we wouldn't do it ourselves...we advise the potential customer of that. If a pool did get installed in this particular situation.…I would question their integrity and professionalism.
