Bill was great. Was able to come out the next day and completed all requested work and actually fixed a couple doors that we did not know we an issue. He also offered suggestions for additional work, if needed. Would highly recommend Bill and The Lock Doc. Service call was $45.00 and each lock re-keyed was $15.00 each. Also gave us 5 new keys.

I needed to change the locks on several doors and wanted to use Schlage keyless entry locks which I already purchased on Amazon. A friend was going to install them but told me that he couldn't since my doors were not compatible?.of course it was too late to return all 4 of them so I was bummed. When I called Bill at Lock doc, he was very prompt in returning my call. I took pictures of my doors and locks to see if it were possible to use them. Happily, they were not going to be a problem for Bill. He came out within a day and spent several hours for all of my doors. He rekeyed all of them to use the same key?.the keyless entry locks were installed and he explained how to program them. He must have been here for 4 hours or more. He was very professional and got everything done without being overly chatty. I know that if I ever had a problem, I could call him. There are several Lock doc names out there but Bill is the one to call. The extra bonus was when he opened up a safe that my son had locked himself out of?he had to cut into it but my son was very happy to get his "valuables" back. Sometimes you have to be careful about the professionalism of people you invite into your home and with Bill, I never had a concern. I would recommend him to anyone. His services were very fairly priced for the amount of work he did.

Bill arrived within 1 hour of my call - gave me some good options when I asked about changing the lock to digital and explained the pro's and con's of lock type etc. Eventually, I decided only to rekey the existing lock. Certainly use again - very professional

He did the work under miserable weather conditions, but yet was still fast and efficient. He had good suggestions to make the locks more user-friendly. I checked around for pricing on locksmith's and the LockDock was the most competitive on price, so I didn't know what to expect with the service. Bill arrived on time did a walk through of the unit I just bought and provided realistic costs on what needed to be done. While we ultimately paid more than we expected to, it was because we were not educated enough about our security needs when we set the original appointment. The fees were reasonable and cheaper than anyone else offered. Bill added deadbolts to our doors and despite making quite a mess, you'd never know he was even there after he cleaned everything up. we are very happy with the service and now feel safe in our home.

I set up an appointment to get the locks changed before we moved into the home we purchased. That appointment went really well. In addition to adding deadbolts and rekeying everything to the same key, Bill also straightened a door to sit better in its frame. On the day we moved in, I realized I'd forgotten about the shed, which we didn't have a key for at all. Bill came out soon on the same day as my urgent call, added a deadbolt, and changed out the locking door knob for a nonlocking knob. Problem solved, Then he secured the overhead shed door for us as well. We were really pleased and relieved to have all this taken care of so easily, and everything was super clean when he finished.

I was impressed by the reviews on Angie's List, both in terms of quantity and quality. Now I know they are well deserved. I called Lock Doc in the morning and Bill agreed to come out at noon which accommodated my work schedule. He was very accommodating in general, and professional and was there when he said he'd be there. He was able to fix the two problems quickly and I thought his price was very reasonable. I will definitely use his services again if I need a locksmith for anything.

Showed up promptly after my call. Gave me a bid. He did a great prompt job on some complex old door locks. Did what he said he would do and then did it. Bill was great. There was a bit of a date issue and the appointment was delayed until the next day, but he called right back the next morning and was here when he said he would be today. He also checked our other doors and extended the deadbolt on the back door for better seating of the deadbolt. I would definitely use the Lock Doc again.

He was wonderful: professional, effective, prompt, considerate. Did a beautiful job for a very reasonable fee. Called him in the early evening because a lock had failed,. I was concerned as I had found a number of disconcerting reviews of other regional locksmiths online, including reports of some who charged unbelievably high fees of people locked out of their cars in the middle of the night. So I looked around carefully before deciding whom to phone. He was very professional and accommodating when I phoned. Asked questions about the situation, described a range of likely solutions and their costs, offered to come right over, then did exactly as he had promised. Investigated the problem, confirmed the over-the-phone diagnosis, showed me several locks, installed the one I chose but first described two possible ways of installating with their pros an cons, then installed the lock exactly as he said he would and carefully cleaned up--over my protests--a small amount of sawdust. I recommend him highly, and if I ever again need a locksmith, I'll call this one!

He found that the reason one of the locks was not working was due to the door not sitting well, which he repaired. My wife was very happy with this guy. He was extremely professional and she was very pleased with him.

The work was done with a high level of quality and the tech explained everything he did and even swept up after himself. The only problem I've had since the work is that after he did some cutting of a door plate to get the lock to seat properly in our front door, our porch lights and outlet stopped working. I can't say for sure that the work he did on the lock had any impact to the line running from the switch box next to the door and the porch lights, but as far as I know they were working before he came. I'm inclined to believe it's a coincidence but we'll see.

He arrived a bit later than scheduled due to previous job, but once he arrived, he worked quickly and efficiently. He gave us good information without trying to push unnecessary extra work. We were very satisfied with his work and would recommend his services.

The lock doc was great. He spent his time explaining why what I wanted was not a good idea, and didn't charge me anything for his time. In other words explaining to me the pit falls of my bad idea.
