Description of Work: A large limb on our ash tree had snapped and was hanging down. If it separated completely it would have fallen on the sidewalk. The Bassett crew showed up within a couple of hours, took it down, cleaned up and was finished in about 30 - 45 mins. I couldn't have imagined a quicker or better response.

Description of Work: Steve's team performed extensive pruning on our wooded lot - large oaks and black walnuts that stand well above our 2 story house. They worked a lot above and around our house and took amazing care with both our trees, and our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - they do excellent work.

Description of Work: I have five silver maples on my property that are aging. Any wind caused lots of dropping branches, so I had the Bassett company out. They trimmed out the trees very well and a huge wind will still drop a few branches but nothing like it had been.One of the trees is large and approximately 55 years old and I had the Bassett company out a couple of years before that because I didn't want to endanger my house if the tree split or an extra large branch came down. They decided that putting a cable across up high would hold it. I had them do some landscape upgrading (included several plants) and other work. All who have been here are very knowledgeable, use proper safety guides, and I have been pleased with their work.

 + 1 moreWe have been using him for about three years. He is a registered forester and we had him at our old house when we had to get some work done. He was recommended to us and we have been using him ever since. He is very reliable and very excellent. It is a big company and has got a lot of people working for them. What impressed me the most is the professional job that they do. I think that we get very good pricing from them and he provides the information on what we should do and we act on his information and then they do a very perfect job of completing the work. I know that his prices are very competitive. We call them every year to do some work for us.
Description of Work: Steven R Bassett LLC took down one stem of a tree and did a lot of pruning of other trees and shrubbery. They also did aeration of the lawn and removal of a couple of old, dead trees in the property.
