Great communication and, as far as we can tell so far, excellent work. It's been 10 days, and the new water heater and plumbing has performed flawlessly to date. He did everything he said he'd do when he said he'd do it. Can't ask for much more in a contractor.

Kurt called me immediately and was able to come replace my hot water heater within a couple of days. He was easy to communicate with, explained everything to me and got the job done very quickly and for far less than I was quoted from another company. I've had a lot of work done on my house in the past 7 years. This was my best experience by far.

Our water heater gave out this weekend. Kurt reached out we performed an Angi search and asked for replacement quotes. He was very responsive, provided quotes and options, asked for photos to evaluate our needs and was extremely professional while answering all our questions. He let us know he was on his way to install the new water heater, arrived when he said he would and promptly provided a business card and new pen! Great service, very prompt, easy to communicate with

Kurt prefers communicating via texting than exchanging voice messages. his generation seems to prefer this method since one does not have to keep calling/accessing voice messages via cell phone. A one person enterprise so he has flexibility and lower overhead costs and less infrastructure.

Kurt Mara did a great job replacing our 22+ year old water heater. He's a very personable guy, and his experience shows in the work, which was completed more quickly than expected, with great results. Pricing was fair and a good value compared to other quotes. Highly recommend!

Overall, great service and promptness. I would have appreciated less texts/communication in the beginning stages when we were exploring our options—more time/space to evaluate. Our situation was not an emergency. When we did decide to go with KJM, all our questions/concerns were immediately addressed.

Kurt Mara did a great job installing an electric water heater to replace for the gas water heater that died. He was able to pick it up at Menard's in Pewaukee, Wisconsin and transport it to my home. He installed it and the quality of his work was outstanding. He worked closely with an electrician who made sure that the electrical hookup was correct. The electrician that he chose also did outstanding work.
