Arrived on time. Immediately started the work. Completed it to my satisfaction. Was please how responsive Doug and his associate were to my request.

Doug responded to my requests in a very acceptable time frame and moved quickly to complete the work that needed to be done. On July 11 his first job was to clean the gutters and take off the old gutter covers. He was very efficient and everything was cleaned up before he left. His second job was on August 19th to replace the gutter covers that were taken off. He and his son had the work done in a very timely matter. Great job again. Doug is a very nice person. He is professional, easy to talk with, and listens to what needs to be done.

It went extremely well. Corey did the work in short order for the same amount as was estimated and did a great job of cleaning up afterward.

Doug did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to work with. He fit me into his busy schedule right before the holiday, for which I am most grateful!

Everything was great. I called Doug on a Monday, and all work was completed by Wednesday noon. In the middle of the job I had questions about some aspects of what he was doing, and so Doug held off until we talked and made sure that we were in agreement before proceeding. In the process of cleaning and replacing gutter guards he found other problems, which he brought to my attention and then fixed after we'd agreed on what to do. An overall excellent experience. I will definitely call him again.

I called for a gutter cleaning and talked to Doug. His son Corey went to the house and called me with the price. We have a single level home and I thought $85 was a bit pricey, but worth it so I didn't have to. Corey went back the same afternoon and cleaned the seeds out with a blower. I usually use an extension ladder and scoop them out by hand, moving the ladder around the house six feet at a time. Then I run water down all four drain pipes. It takes all day, so this was worth it. Corey did blow and sweep most of the seeds off the deck and driveway into the grass but they were all over the gravel beds and flower beds. That was a little disappointing. I wasn't home at the time or I would've said something to him. Overall, the gutters are clear, so that part is I'll give them one more try with the fall leaves, but I plan to be home next time!

I called in the am and Doug's son was here within just an hour or two and got the job done. He was great to deal with and the promptness of service could not be beat.

Doug responded to my email about a back up dishwasher/drain issue and possible plumbing problem; and a downed tree branch. He came out for an estimate a day after I contacted him, then returned the next day to do the work. I really appreciate his timeliness!

I called and talked to Doug. He stopped by our house and assessed the loose fascia on the roof edge. He provided us with an estimate the same day. Although we were having days of rain, Doug found a time to repair the fascia within 2 days. After measuring the fascia, Doug obtained an exact match to the loose aluminum fascia and repaired the area. He also cleaned the gutters on the upper roof as requested.

Very well. I have been pleased with the quality of Doug's work.

He is very personable and on time. His prices are very reasonable.

Came out the next day to look at things. Gave me an estimate, fixed one downspout. Will be back to replace lower half of downspouts. I really enjoyed talking to Doug. His truck is stocked so that he can fix/replace some things on the spot. 2/7/2013 I found out that it was $85.00 for just reattaching the gutter which took about 15 minutes. I guess I should have asked if that amount included everything but it didn't. I spoke with Doug and he indicated he has an $85.00 minimum. I will be finishing the downspouts myself.

Called Doug based on Angie's List reviews (which were excellent). Needed my gutters cleaned and had waited pretty late to get them done. Doug came out that same day (had decent weather) which was really unexpected. He did a great job and I paid less than I would have expected. Apparently, he also does "Handy Man" work and I will be calling him soon for some of those things before I list my home. Thanks Doug!

it is always a pleasure to work with Doug Sommerfeld. Doug showed u on time with his truck and equipment. He checked in with us before he began his work to make sure we agreed on the work to be done. We have a high, steep roof (over two stories in some places) and live surrounded by deciduous trees. Doug brought ladders, leaf blowers to accomplish the gutter cleaning. Doug carefully cleaned up all the debris from the gutters. Doug then began work inside/outside the front door. He looked over the door, rehung the storm, put up weather stripping and alleviated a sticking at the bottom of the storm door. When he was done, we talked a bit and I paid the bill. We have worked with Doug several times: cleaning gutters and doing general handyman work for us outside. He is personable, reliable, and thorough.

When I have called Doug for gutter cleaning, three years running, he has been prompt and courteous. This year, I could not be home when he was here. Thought I called late in the season, as seems to be my habit (or failing), he came as soon as the weather permitted and got the job done. In 2011, he also notice that a plastic vent cover on the roof was broken. He told me about that problem and was back to do the repair with all supplies necessary within a day. He is very kind, keeps a concerned eye out for other things that need to be done, and does good work quickly and responsibly. I highly recommend Doug.

Working with Doug went very well from the phone calls to his arriving on time, working with me and his cleaning up. He's patient and has great suggestions. My husband loves this birthday and holiday gift (and I do too) since Doug took care of so many tasks very competently and quickly that would have taken us most of a year to get to. We look forward to hiring him again. He does his work very well, thoroughly, and is able to do a wide range of tasks/projects/remodeling items that come with of home ownership.

Doug was in the neighborhood when he answered my call. He not only gave me an estimate based on a thorough examination of the gutters, but was able to do the work on the same day.. He included the gutters on the garage and even repaired a gutter (which I hadn't realized needed it). The work was done promptly and efficiently and the cost was reasonable. I will certainly request his services in future.

I called Doug in the morning for an estimate for gutter cleaning and he said he would come to the house that afternoon. When he arrived we walked around the house to gauge the work and he suggested I also trim a tree back from the roof to avoid damaging the shingles. He quoted a very reasonable price, that included the tree trimming, and he and a helper did the work on the spot. The work was thorough and professional and I would definitely use Doug again.

Excellent job - cleaned all gutters thorougly, cleared gutter debris that fell on lawn. Cleaned off roof. Very friendly and profession. I will definitely use Doug again. Highly recommend!

I called Doug to get a quote for gutter cleaning and he responded promptly with a reasonable quote. He scheduled the work very quickly and got the gutters cleaned before the next rain storm. No more overflowing gutters! We were very happy with the work and with Doug's promptness.

The gutters turned out to not be the problem with the water but the guards did need replacing. Doug was very professional and showed up quickly, when he said he would. The service was not cheap but the quality of the work and product seem to be high and worth it. Definitely would call him again.
