Doug is great! He responded to my call immediately and was on site to do the job within a couple of hours. He and Corey had the job done quickly and completely. Doug is personable, responsive and attentive to the job at hand. A great experience. I will not hesitate to call him in the future.

Doug is great! We have had them out on multiple occasions & will again. They've done large & small projects for us & we couldn't be happier. It went very well. He was timely. He came when he said he would. He called ahead when he was to come.

Doug took the time to explain to me what he thought might be the cause of the break, and outlined various possible ways to repair the opening system. He came back with the required tools.

Called in the morning with a clogged downspout I needed to get cleared. Heavy rain in the forecast for that night. He got back to me that afternoon and by about 5:00 he had it fixed.

Wow! Excellent service. They came right away and cleaned the gutters on our two-story Victorian house in about an hour. There were little green plants sprouting in some spots and lots of debris and they cleaned the gutters and also cleaned any areas of the ground where the debris landed. They left things looking very clean. Also, they reattached a piece of siding that had popped out a bit on the upper level. We will definitely call them again in the future.

He came out and gave me an estimate to repaint the screen porch and make replacements in two toilets. He said he would get back to me and he didn't and then I called the office a week later and they didn't have any record of us in their computer. It was okay when he came over, he seemed to understand what we wanted. He listed his prices, it was quite high, but he didn't follow through.

I was looking for someone to clean the gutters on a house. I called three providers to get estimates. When I called Doug, not only was his price within the range I was looking for, he said he was in the area and would be willing to stop by and clean the gutters within an hour. WOW! Doug and his son came by and cleaned the gutters by using a blower and flushing them out with water. I was doing yard work outside and they were kind enough to give me advance notice when they were working on the same side of the house that I was on so that I wouldn't get covered with debris. They completed the project within 1 hour. They were personable and punctual. I will use them again.

What a bang up job they did. Prompt, nice guys and did a great job. Will definitely have them back this fall to do the gutters again and fix a problem with the gutter.

I used the services of Doug's Handyman Service because of their overall grade in your list and the fact that they were close to us. Also the comments of the people in my area. I was very pleased. I really like them.

Doug was very prompt in replying up my initial message to him. He came right over, took down my list of small home projects, and was able to start working on them that week. He did a great job finishing the list quickly and was very reasonable in his pricing. I'll definitely use him again for future handyman projects.

I was pleased Doug answered the phone when I called and did the job a few days later. The price was more than he quoted me but was happy overall they got the job done right away.

We had the gutters around our 2-story home cleaned out. After contacting Doug for a quote via email we didn't hear back from him at all for at least a week when all of a sudden there was a voicemail saying he had been in our neighborhood that day in the morning, looked at our house, quoted us a price (on vmail), & could clean them out that afternoon if we were still interested. Sounds good to me! So, aside from the lack of initial response, the whole process went really fast & it didn't matter if we were home or not. Water has been draining well & he looked for any additional damage (none found) while cleaning the gutters.

Got my gutters and down spouts cleaned about 60 feet worth approx. took a long time to hear back from him but when i did he got the job done right away.i have a high roof so i cannot see the job done nor was i at home when he did it. doug has done other odd jobs for me in the past and they are still in good shape. |

It was a wet day, the leaves and some black gunk ended up on the front porch, and he took the extra time to hose it down for me. I was happy about that.

It went well. We found this service on Angie's List and based on others' ratings, decided to give them a call. Fortunately, they were able to come out the same day and did a stellar job on getting our gutters ready for a snowy and cold winter. We will consider using them for their handyman services as well in the future based on our experience with the gutters.

Did an excellent job on the gutter cleaning. One gutter was still something of a problem; he came back the day after I contacted him, fixed it, and explained what was wrong. Doug has done a lot of work for me over the last 10 years, long before I signed on to Angie's List. I have always been happy with his work. He is professional.

Eaves were so full of wet debrie that it sprayed onto the flowering peonies. Should have had it done sooner. Have lots of mature maples in the neighborhood.

Would be nice if a service provider would just state if too busy at the present time or not interested in the job for whatever reason. I mentioned Angie's list in my contact; did not seem to help! Not a good first impression for a new member!

Doug and his son are very nice to work with and very responsive. They did a wonderful job on both the gutter cleaning and the painting. My only constructive feedback from the gutter cleaning is that it would be nice if they laid out a tarp or some other target object to through the gutter leaves, etc, onto. and then haul it out to the curb or some other disposal method. It appeared they dropped it straight down and I needed to spend time cleaning the clumps out of my gardens below the gutters.

It went very well. Doug showed up when he said he would be there. Very friendly and courteous.

It was getting very close to when it may snow. I called Doug and in about a week he was able to get my gutters cleaned before the first snow fall. He cleaned up all the leaves and such. The only reason I know he has been here was the lack of leaves over flowing in my gutters.
