Bethke has come through for me on multiple occasions. I am not one to write reviews but I just had to after they responded so quickly again. I know I can count on them.

How did it go? It didn't. I scheduled an appointment for an estimator to come out to get me a quote on a new furnace and AC. On the day of the appointment I called them to confirm if they were coming because I didn't get a text notification or phone call. They said they didn't have me in their records and it would take a week to get someone out for a quote. I got competitors to come out much faster so I was waiting on them for the last estimate. I wasn't going to waste another week waiting and hope that they actually scheduled someone to show up.

Their quote was right in-line for the install and another person came back the next day and gave me a very reasonable quote for duct work. Everything could not have been better and I won't use anyone else. Timely, courteous and professional company.

They were great - from the time I called their answering service on Sunday afternoon to the technician they sent quickly who communicated with me (I was out of town). Highly recommend them.

We have a standing contract. I'm not really sure if there was a charge, that's my husband's part. I assume the price is fair or my husband would not have them. There quality is good.

It is not on warranty but I pay for both at the same time. There was one person who came to complete the work. The worker was fine. They left the area clean.

We have been using them for years and we are happy with them. We have an annual subscription kind of thing. It is about $220 a year to do both the air conditioning and the furnace including the humidifier, tune-up and everything.

Duke came out for the initial estimate. We discussed our existing exhaust fan which is mounted in the ceiling approximately a foot or so out from the range. Duke indicated that we would be able to use this existing ducting to install our new over-the-range hood. As requested by Bethke, we proceeded to have the electrical work for range hood hooked up. We also then purchased a range hood. Jason and John came out for the install and explained that it would not be possible to use the existing ducting because it would have required cutting through a floor joist based on their visual assessment of the ceiling. It would also be necessary to cut large holes into the drywall soffit above the cabinets in order to put new ducting in place. Because we had already invested time and money into selecting the range hood and installing wiring, we moved forward with the installation. Overall, we was very pleased with Jason and John's work - they were personable, thoughtful and professional. They even fixed a minor duct issue in our basement while they were there. However, we do wish we had gotten a more accurate estimate/review from Duke about the scope of the work required as it appeared to be an easily and quickly discovered issue for Jason and John. Though the added cost of fixing the drywall will not be significant, it is another contractor that we did not anticipate having to locate, vet and hire. Our current kitchen remodel is the result of a catastrophic water leak so we were less than thrilled to have created more work at the end of this large-scale, unanticipated project.

Our boiler stopped working over the weekend. We contacted Bethke based on Angie's List ratings. They responded immediately to the call and because they do not stock parts for the type of boiler we have, they provided us the contact information of another company in the area that would likely be able to handle our service needs immediately. Very professional and courteous.

I want to love Bethke but every time I have used them, I've run into problems. I've found it difficult to schedule and book my services (I understand that my job had less priority than houses that did not have heat...it's cold outside!). I had requested a date on the calendar and after two weeks back of not hearing anything from them, I had to make a follow-up phone call. The service providers are great. I've liked every person who has come to my home. The people on the phone are great - they answer the phones promptly and provide great service. But whenever Bethke comes, they leave the house messy. I either need to wash the wood floors because they're tracking dirt in/out of the house, or I need to vacuum due to debris/insulation/etc. In this particular case, I needed to do both. It's not an easy job - entering someone's home and providing a service, and I understand that. However, out of respect for the home and the homeowner, I think Bethke should always be wearing shoe covers when entering a home and vacuuming up after themselves. They provide quality service, so I will continue to use them in the future.

Was able to receive a quote over the phone. $200 set up and $15 per vent. They fit me in the schedule within one week. Service tech was here at 8am in the morning and done by 1pm. I did have to vacuum after he left due to stuff he tracked in the house on his shoes and sawdust and dust residue by removing the vents. Also, all my return vents are painted, so when he took them off the wall there was some paint that chipped.

My experience was great. I came home to a furnace that wasn't working. I tried several different things to fix it and called Bethke after nothing worked. The individual I spoke with was super helpful and walked me through a number of different things I could try to get it working again. At one point while we were talking, the furnace turned back on. Once it started running, I noticed there was water leaking from a pipe. The service person asked me a few questions to determine which pipe was leaking. We determined it was the exhaust pipe which was concerning because that is the pipe that carries away CO2 and other contaminants. The service person asked me more questions to determine the size of the leak. He suggested that we fix the problem immediately given the danger of the situation. He told me of the risk and my options. I decided that I wanted him to come out that evening (around 10pm). He came over promptly and checked the furnace and replaced the broken pipe. As a new homeowner, I asked him a lot of questions about the problem and also general maintenance. He took a lot of time to explain everything to me and was extremely helpful. I can't say enough good things about this experience.

The service person was very nice and friendly. He gave us information about the status of our air conditioner. Our air conditioner has been working well so far this summer.

Our steam boiler stopped turning on. The tech arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged loop thing that is part of the regulation mechanism. There was also WAY too much water in the system- over 40 gallons when there should be less than 5! He gave instructions for how to drain the boiler regularly to keep things cleaner. We have been draining regularly, and things have been working great since then. We will have Bethke out for our regular boiler service (something as new homeowners we didn't realize we needed to do) every year.

Jason and Mark showed up about an hour later with our new furnace in tow. They were professional; they were prepared with tarps to not drag in snow or dirt; they dealt with issues that arose as they installed the furnace, fabricating new parts, providing a new elbow joint, etc. They worked hard.for several hours and then took the time to teach me about the new furnace - to check the Amber light and what that meant, how the fan should be left on with this type of furnace, etc. They also helped program the new thermostat and made sure I had my questions answered. I would highly recommend Bethke Heating based on my experience!

We contacted Bethke for a quote for the installation of air conditioning (that hasn't happened yet) and a whole-house humidifier. This is a newly-purchased home built in the 60s with a boiler system (no forced air or duct work). They quoted us $1150 for the whole-house humidifier. We didn't get another quote because the price seemed fair, and we really liked Jeff Bethke when he came to the house to do the quote. In fact, it turned out that Bethke had installed the boiler the previous winter for the previous owners, so that was a plus. Bethke was very responsive. We called, set up a time for them to come look at the house, and Jeff arrived on time and cheerful. He evaluated the house, explained what the various services entailed, and promised to send us a quote via email. He sent the quote to us a few days later. We then called and indicated we wanted the whole-house humidifier installed, and we set up a date for that to happen. They were very busy because of furnace failures in the cold weather, so it took two weeks for them to get out here but that was not an issue. The morning of the service we woke up and the boiler wasn't working. Surprise! I called Bethke's emergency line and advised them about it, and they said the guys who were coming over could look at the boiler, too. The guys arrived on time and were both cheerful and knowledgeable. They checked out the boiler, asked some questions, and fixed the issue quickly. We then discussed where to install the whole-house humidifier and decided on an interior closet that adjoined the utility room. That meant they'd only have to install one grate instead of two, which I thought was aesthetically preferable. They discussed every aspect of the installation with me. I was impressed with their customer service skills and knowledge, and liked both of them (sorry, I don't remember the names!). In fact, Jeff called during the service call and had them make some adjustments to the pipes attached to the boiler and water heater to prevent the boiler from turning off again in the future. All of the boiler work was covered under the warranty and was performed at no cost to us. The humidifier is working great. The humidity is where it's supposed to be, we have no static electricity, and my chronic cough/sniffles is clearing up nicely. My husband and I were both impressed with Bethke's customer service and knowledge. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I called first thing in the morning and was able to get a technician at my house about 40 minutes later (15 minutes faster than promised!) He was polite, knowledgable, efficient, and very transparent about pricing. We will call Bethke again in the future with any heating problems we encounter.

Exactly as described by person who provided quote. Came in, took anticipated amount of time, tested thoroughly, helped set thermostats, not charge or fixing humidifier, cleaned up, thanked us and left. Exactly as promised. It just doesn't get any better than that.

No nonsense. Easy to schedule an appointment. Technician was here ~45 minutes. Explained everything he cleaned. For the time he was here and how little work was needed, I'd prefer the price was a bit cheaper. But no problems with the provider.

It was okay. They were fine. I have no problems. They had service my air conditioning and heating in the past. When they were here last year, the air conditioner coals were leaking. But when in the end of the season time, let it go until this year. This year, they came back and gave me an estimate, for different units, they came and installed but fairly soon and after that, I take within a week or two. The guys came and install. They seem very professional and did a good job. I have no complaints. It was fine. They were on time and nice.

The guys who did the installation did an outstanding job. They left everything so clean, one wouldn't know by looking that they were there. When they finished, they went over all the features of the new mechanicals.

Shopped around, they had the best price for both systems and they scheduled work around my schedule, got the job done in 1/2 day, the crew was professional and everything has been working fine for the past month.

When scheduling my appointment I was advised to check my furnace air filter before the technician showed up. If it was clogged, DIY replacement could fix the problem and I would save myself the $84 diagnostic! That was nice (though it didn't help me). Service technician showed up on time, and was cordial and professional. Found and fixed the the problem in the matter of 30 minutes and it seems to be running great now. I have no idea how much such a service should cost, so I did not rate that. Given that my AC unit is older, I kind of expected to be encouraged to consider a new one; that did not happen - also nice. The only thing I could imagine someone complaining about (though it did not bother me), was that the technician just went ahead and fixed the problem after diagnosing without giving me an estimate and verifying that it was okay to fix at that price.
