I came home and my house was sparkling clean and we even had those vacuum lines on the carpets everyone loves to see. Thank you so much AMK for making my week and taking the extra task of cleaning off my to do list.

+ -1 moreVery disappointing experience. I'm sure that people that do the actual cleaning are wonderful but we never got that far...
Description of Work: We were replacing our kitchen and dining room flooring so I thought it would be a good time to have those areas deep cleaned after the floors were installed. Also with the idea that we might hire a regular cleaning service to help us out (we have 2 kids that are both special needs). Called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Donna arrived at our house and I told her what we wanted cleaned. The list included the kitchen cabinets front and tops (not inside), Refrigerator inside and out, patio door glass and track, and dusting two shelves in the dining room. She said she has "over 20 years" in the business and I was initially impressed. She left saying that she would get back to us in the next couple of days with her estimate. Then I got a voicemail from her saying her estimate was $302. I was shocked. This would equal to $30/hour for 10 hours of work. At the most it would take about 2-3 hours to clean the items mentioned above. When I called Donna back to go over the estimate to see if we could lower it somehow she was unwilling to be flexible. Saying that it would, "Compromise the cleanliness of our kitchen and dining room area. When I e-mailed the owner, Ashley, to try and work this out she would only offer to give me the names of other cleaning services that might better fit our budget. Budget? How about fair pricing? I can get our whole house cleaned for $302! Needless to say we never hired AMK Cleaning.
