John did the plumbing in our new master bath and shower a couple of years ago. He also installed a copper sink in our wet bar and a water filter. He has been out to service our sump pump and even stopped by once to check things out while on his way home. He is one of the most honest people I know. He's very good at what he does.

What started out a bad day was saved by Oakridge Plumbing. We recently purchased a manufactured home in an established community. Our first major task was to totally remodel the kitchen. The morning of March 27th the plumber we originally hired, and had already quoted the job, showed up right on time. The plumber looked at the job and them informed us that, because it is a manufactured home, they could not work on it. They said they don't have a way of getting the parts needed. And then he left. I more or less freaked out. Here I sit with an unusable kitchen. I took the day off of work and now I have to find a plumber that will work on my home. I went out to the bulletin board for our community to get the number of one of the board members and ask for a referral. On my way there I ran into one of the board members, I asked if knew of a reliable plumber. He pointed over his shoulder and said "That would be John Pink". John was in the process of pumping out the crawl space of someone whose water meter burst. I walked over, introduced myself and explained my situation. He said to give him 20 minutes and he'd be over to take a look. 20 minutes later he showed up. I walked him through what work we needed done and he said he could get to it in a few hours. He arrived at 1:30 and was done a 4:00. Charged a price that was $350 less the my original quote. And was able to get every part he needed, for manufactured homes, right off the shelf at Menard's. John was very personable and professional. He is now my plumber.

John was very thorough in explaining what was happening. He was able to stop the leak by replacing some of the fittings, and also showed me what to do to prevent it from happening in the future. I will definitely be calling him again for all of my plumbing needs.

I placed a call on Saturday. John called back that afternoon and we discussed the problem with my sump pump. He actually was listening to it with me over the phone. He assessed the issue and told me that it was probably the switch. He asked me how old the pump was and said he could replace the switch but recommended because of the pumps age that we replace it. He said he would be out on Monday in the afternoon. John arrived as he said and replaced the pump. The price was very fair. I thought John really cared about us and our problem. He showed me exactly what he was doing and made some suggestions. He even secured the pump better than the original. I would choose John for all our plumbing issues. Thanks John

They were totally reliable and did a great job, given a difficult transition when we became our own general contractor. Even the building inspector said they did great work!

This is about the fourth or fifth time we have had John and Lori out to our place to do some kind of plumbing work for us (in 2009 they did all the plumbing for a third floor full bathroom as part of a complete remodel; they installed two toilets in a second and first floor bathroom, replaced a water heater, and fixed a troublesome furnace humidifier that had been installed by someone else. I really can't say enough positive things about this plumbing duo. They are clearly a great husband-wife team to work with, and they bring a very hands-on and thoughtful problem-solving approach to whatever issue they're tackling (they both have engineering backgrounds). They have a highly professional way they conduct themselves and a very appreciated respect for the home they're working in (I only wish other contractors we have worked with over the years were half as conscientious). What's more, they are always quite good about fully explaining the options, pros/cons, etc, and giving sufficient time and space to address questions that we might have. And frankly, they are just both very nice people to work with. One story that is of special note: during our kitchen remodel, we had purchased a dishwasher conversion for our portable dishwasher that was pretty old, but we thought might as well keep it. So they installed it with the conversion, but unfortunately after installation, the dishwasher began to leak due to a very worn seal which probably shifted during the conversion. At any rate, we decided it probably best to just replace the dishwasher rather than get a new seal, and so on fairly short notice they came back and installed a new dishwasher for us. This work was clearly extra for them, but when I offered to pay them something additional, they both declined. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Oakridge was reasonably priced and performed very high quality work. Work was completed on schedule which was important during finishing my basement schedule-wise.

Excellent in all areas of the job, from estimate to final cleanup. They made sure the basement was well ventalated before starting the job and during the job. Could not smell any Natural Gas order at anytime. Job done ON TIME and to cost estimate.

From the first time meeting John and Lori we were impressed with their attention to the codes and what would work best for the homeowner. They came early and stayed late to make sure that the water was off only a short time. John is a friendly man who goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done according to all of the local codes and that the homeowner is happy with the finished product.
