Also known as Trapping by Nate and Burlington Wildlife Removal. He did finally remove the animal but it took multiple tries and trips. I had to constantly stay on top of him. call him and get him to come back. He would show up at my house without calling or letting me know he had been on my property, I had no idea what was going on or if he was even trying to remove the animal, it was very frustrating. He never investigated how the animal was getting in and out, I had to figure that out for him. After he finally trapped the animal, he left a board open and exposed. Again he did not call or come to my door to alert us he was done. If I had not fixed it right away another animal would have moved right in. He only covered the hole where the animal had gotten in with a screen, which was not what we discussed or requested. He promised to come back and fix it properly, but never has returned or contacted me. He has terrible customer service, poor communication and shoddy work. He does not seem to care about satisfied customers at all.

o n the day he came by the CD's started falling off the house. I called to complain and he said he was sorry, but that was really hard to do and he wasn't coming back to put any of them back up. He really didn't care that I was unhappy and said there was nothing else he could do. The woodpecker really didn't care about the CD's anyway and just kept pecking at the 5 holes on all sides of my house and garage. I told him this didn't work and he didnt offer to refund any money, it was very costly. I finally called a carpenter to come and fill the holes and my sister told me that woodpeckers hate mothballs so I had the carpenter put up little stockings filled with mothballs around all the holes and he left.
Description of Work: I was looking for deterant for woodpecker who had been working pecking holes in my house for 2 years off and on and now was working on 5 different spots. Service claimed they would fill holes and hang up deterants. They did nothing to the holes said he swabbed them with disinfectant, but said a carpenter would have to repair. He then hung CDs from my house all around, 3 on a string

First he did not close up the holes, I had to hire a contractor to come and do this, he applied a thin coat of something to the multiple "hole" areas and they were still all exposed. His CD's were falling off the house by the late afternoon that he had hung them. I called and told him and he said that it was too bad, but he had spent a long time putting those up and basically had no intension of coming back and fixing this. The rest of them proceeded to fall down over the course of a couple of months and the woodpecker just kept on pecking. One of his holes was big enough to spend the winter in by the time the contractor filled them. This was a complete waste of my time and the company had only one approach and it wasn't adequate, for the very costly feeble attempt to rid me of the woodpecker.
Description of Work: I requested help in ridding my house of a woodpecker that had holes in 4 sides of my house and garage. I tried a number of things, but they didn't work. The man I talked to twice said this would take care of the problem, they would hang CD's from my house in multiple places and close up the holes.

Be very wary in doing business with Brennon Miller of Stateline Animal Control. If he offers you the opportunity to replace your attic insulation, get a second quote from a reputable insulation company. Brennon first told us that we had squirrel access holes on either side of our dormer and that we needed to have all of our attic insulation removed and new blown in because our insulation was soiled from squirrel urine and feces. He said we would continue to get squirrels in the attic if we didn?t have this done. He gave us a rough estimate of $5500 to do that. He encouraged us to check with our insurance company, as some cover this. We then had a reputable insulation company inspect our insulation and he did not think we needed to replace our insulation, but gave us a quote for improvement (and removal and replacement if wanted) that was less than half the price. Brennon returned a week later, with a ladder to reach our dormers and told us that he could not find ANY holes anywhere where squirrels could get in, and proceeded to set conibear (kill) traps in our attic. At that point, we paid him $332, his fee for animal removal. Nothing was caught in the traps during the 2 ½ weeks the traps were in the attic. He said that what he had first thought was squirrel urine was just water stains from a previous roof leak and what he had thought was squirrel feces was wood chips. He said he was sure we had rats or mice in the attic and that he didn?t deal with them, but would toss some poison around in our attic, as a favor for us. We decided we wanted no further dealings with Brennon and said ?No?. During the time the conibears were in the attic, the animal noise decreased. The night the conibears were removed, the noise increased. We then talked to four pest control companies and all said we probably had mice or flying squirrels. We set mouse traps in the attic ourselves and caught four mice in five days. As I write this, we still have mouse traps set in the attic, and we haven?t heard animal noises in the attic for two nights.
Description of Work: Home inspection to determine what animals were making noise in our attic, where they might be getting in, set traps to catch squirrels. That's what was done - it did not solve the problem. We had hoped for humane animal exclusion, but no animal entry points found.
