We used Gehring when another company dismantled our working, but low producing well and then informed us they didn’t have anyone available for almost a week to dig the new well. Being dissatisfied with the poor customer service by the original company we started checking around to see if anyone else could get the job done faster. We contacted several companies one of them being Gehring and couldn’t have been happier with the result. Lance, from Gehring, went out of his way to identify what was happening with our well and developing the best solution. He suggested instead of digging a new well he would deepen the current well. He rearranged some other appointments since we were without water and came out the next day and we had water that night. While Lance was here he kept us informed on what he was doing and how everything was going. He reviewed our inside tank, told us that everything was fine, we didn’t need to upgrade that and helped us setup the post well actions (removing faucet screens – attaching our hoses) . Gehring knew how much the other company was going to charge us (a minimum of $15,000) and because we did not have water we were really vulnerable cost wise. Gehring was honest and really worked to provide the best solution as the most reasonable cost and they did. Their solution saved us at over $11,000 and got us back with working water days ahead of the original provider. Gehring is a company that really knows customer service and their actions reflect that they their goal is to make the customer happy and not getting as much money as they can. I can’t express enough how happy we were with them and especially all the wonderful service Lance gave us.

I am very happy with the work and the service. I called after hours and left a message. I received a return call first thing next morning. We were told they would be here that day before noon. They arrived at 10:45, inspected the system then replaced the tank.(We knew it needed replacement as we had the same problem about 20yrs. ago.) They had every thing needed for the job with them and were finished before noon. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend them.

Worked with Gehring to do a home well inspection for a potential purchase of a new home. Worked with Susan to iron out the multiple reschedules we have to do, due to the seller of the home. Susan was so pleasant to deal with and worked around our schedule to get the inspection done. She even offered advise as we were first time home buyers. Ryan went out and did the inspection. He was prompt and thorough. We didn't even have to meet him out at the property, he let himself in and out. Paperwork was promptly emailed so we could send to our financier right away. Great local company to work with and would do business with again.

Long story short. Approx. one year later and we are still waiting for them to correct our well pump. They replaced our very old well pump, and days afterward it was making an awful banging noise. They came back and claimed to not hear any noise, but never went into the house to hear the noise, because they stopped by without notice, so no one was home. We received a second charge for things they did not correct at the first visit. The men never gave us an estimate. I thought they were just looking into the problem, when to my surprise, hours later they were handing me a bill!!! They came back several times to fix other things they overlooked with replacing the pump (leaks, adding air, etc.) They also had to come back to put the cap on our well pump, as they had it wrapped it plastic and duct taped. We were told they know of a part that may fix our problem for good and they are just waiting for the part to arrive. They have now stopped returning our calls. We will now have to pay another company a large amount to repair what Gehring Well didn't and wouldn't fix correctly the first time. PS they left remnants of their work and messed up our white picket fence during the process. (They drapped all thier hoses etc. over the fence, as well as climbing over it instead of going around through the gate). Nice people, bad work!
