Great service.

I might have made a mistake when I accepted a verbal estimate for my repairs. I was not sure how complicated the repairs would be but after witnessing how quickly he was able to complete the task I assume I would not be charged the estimated cost. That was not the case. He wanted the full estimate repair cost for work that took 15 minutes ($100 for each door)There were two of the 8 doors that needed additional attention and the estimated cost would have been more in-line. There was some prep work he performed but the actual work time was two hours and he wanted $800. After some uncomfortable discussion I ended up paying $600. He did work hard and the quality of the work was good. It just was not a comfortable situation.

Will use in future.

Project: Pass-through door to garage would not latch after "DIY" fail by husband with dementia. Chad treated us with the utmost respect as he redid the weather stripping with our materials, straightened a crooked door, reinstalled doorknob and latch the correct way, and then went on to install an additional product to work with our weather stripping and seal ALL the gaps. Plus, he put a new battery in our smoke detector! He went above and beyond my expectations at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him and will call him again when I need help!

I hired Chad at Ottos to repair a sliding door at my moms place. Chad was responsive, reliable and best of all he did great work at a reasonable cost. He repaired the rollers, installed a new lock and cleaned the gunk out of the bottom of door and on the track. I would definitely hire Chad again for my next project.

Does good work

We hired him last summer to repair porches. We signed a proposal stating the work would be done by October 2018. He did not complete the work. He did not return. We called home several times, he didn t show. He won t give us our money back. I filed a police report for theft by contractor.

Chad stopped by in April with a quote to install a patio door. We agreed and gave him large sum of money to start the project. It is now November and no new door was installed. Our money has been refunded, be cautious when planning jobs with this person.

Chad was friendly. He gave me a quote and started the job the same day. Not only was he a quality worker but he got the job done in a few days.

I hired Chad to replace a steel door and trim with a guarantee and Chad stated that he was going to be done with the work by the middle of august, we gave him $1,700.00 and Chad cashed the check and has not started the work at all and it is now September. He keeps saying he will get it done by the end of September but we are afraid he will not get it done nor do it because he is already paid

They picked up a door that I purchased at Menards at no cost and installed it for us.

Chad responded to my request for service amazingly quickly. He was polite and immediately available for an emergency repair. Chad was great. He is a real craftsman and knows his stuff. He was so easy to have in my house. He cleaned up and it was like no one was there working. My experience with this business was very positive and I would highly recommend them.

Chad was great! He was able to fix my exterior door right away (within 48 hours) and reinforce the frame to be better than when it was installed (by someone else) the first time. Would definitely rehire in the future!
