The service went very well. They were able to come the same day I called and had the new faucet installed quickly. Left me the paperwork and cleaned up the packaging.

Technician (owner) did the cleaning of furnace, made sure condensation tube was not obstructed, replaced a drain tube clamp that was cracked and caused water leakage. Checked the bottom of tube was not immersed in floor drain pipe water, checked burning gas color (blue) ,checked air filter and furnace fan and also the thermostat. Very satisfied with the service.

They did a good job. Everything got connected. They were really short staffed in work. They got everything done but it was a couple of things I got to have them re-work before I let go. It would have been nice to take them a little bit longer time and got my input before they did a couple of things. But, overall not bad. I thought the price was fair. They were very responsive.

Owner said there would be "no charge" to go over to the townhouse and take a quick look at the water heaters to determine what parts needed to be ordered for repairs, and one of the water heaters was still under warranty. He proceeded to replace kitchen faucet cartridges without ever calling me first to authorize repair or quote a price before doing the work. Then sent an invoice with inflated prices for the repair. I never would,have authorized him to replace the faucet cartridges, as my husband had just recently replaced a faucet cartridge himself about a month earlier, and didn't need a plumber to perform such a repair.

It did not go well. When I returned home from work, the bathroom was dirty. There was a lot of detritus left in the drain and in the tub, and in the basement below the plumbing. When I scoured the tub that night, I noticed that there were several divots in the porcelain that were not there before. There was also a huge, black greasy handprint on the freshly painted far wall (nowhere near the tub) that I have not been able to remove. I will have to repaint. When I was replacing items from the closet with the plumbing access, I noticed another dirty handprint on my freshly painted wall in the bedroom. I was able to wash that one off. In addition, the fixture was placed in an old cabinet in the wall. The workers didn't even bother to remove the door to the cabinet so it is attached until the tiler returns to do his work. There was no attention to detail. It also required that the plumber return as it was obvious that the fixture was placed too far out for the tile to be installed. Both a handyman and a tiler asked why the fixture was so far out. The fixture was not secure and the temperature setting was really low so it was not possible to have hot water. The biggest problem was that the bill was high. I mistakenly trusted in getting an appropriate rate as he had worked for me previously, but when I compared the hourly charge against the bill my mother and I paid for another project, I was charged $55 dollars more an hour! The explanation was that I was charged for a beginner plumber (not master) and an apprentice. However, my mother stated that the first job had a more experienced plumber and a helper as well, so that argument doesn't hold. In the end, I insisted that Jon fix it personally so that I could address these issues. He wanted his son to fix them, but he was the one to make the mess and not do the job correctly, I said no. Jon did come over and adjusted the fixture and secured it, altered the temperature range, and cleaned up the mess in the basement. He could not get the grease stain off the wall. He acknowledged that his employee was slobby and there were other complaints as well. When I received the bill, $25 was taken off for "troubles with installation and inconvenience to homeowner". This does not address the $55/hour labor rate that was charged to me compared to another job. The divots in the tub were not addressed. I forgot them in the effort to make sure that the fixture was installed properly, the areas were cleaned, and the rate was discussed. But he knew of them from two emails in which they were mentioned. He didn't proactively address them.

Jon replaced our failed sump pump and battery backup after original units failed. Jon arrived the day after our call for an assessment and returned the next day after he had acquired the new pump/battery backup system to complete the work. Jon was very responsive and either answered his phone or responded to our voicemails immediately. We were pleased and will call Jon the next time we need help with our plumbing.

Jon is very knowledgeable and professional. The work was done in a timely fashion for a very reasonable cost.

We have a finished basement in our home, and so a sump pump failure would cost thousands of dollars. Our sump pump gets a lot of use, primarily because our water softener and iron curtain system both drain into the sump when they flush or cycle. I contacted Jon Debelak Plumbing in the morning, they responded right away, and that same afternoon his Son and another employee arrived at our house to do the install. They were professional and courteous and had the job done in just over an hour. I was originally quoted $400 for the install, but since the sump pump was so tight with the existing pump, they had to user a more expensive secondary. But this was completely reasonable given the tight space. They installed two check valves, the T pipe for the PVC, and the new pump. They also showed me the testing of the primary pump as well as the secondary pump by unplugging the primary to simulate a failure. When they left, they cleaned up all the cords nicely along with the power strip and power cords from the water systems, as well as swept up the whole area, which I think was above and beyond. They took the job seriously and professionally and I will absolutely use them again in the future.

The owner and his assistant came out the same day, quickly diagnosed the problem, made the repairs and were done in about 2 hours.

He gave me good pointers and suggested I talk to a septic person and get my tank pumped and scoped. Which I did. He was very prompt in his messaging and calling.

They didn't discover the problem or fix it. They did not agree with what we said was the problem but it was what we thought it was and we used somebody else to do the work.

They were done in a couple hours and cleaned up behind themselves.

He was not able to fix the leak because it appears to be behind the tile and I would need to remove the tile to be able to get at the leak. He was good, professional and walked me through all the steps he used to try to fix the problem and he tried several methods to solve the problem. He was able to identify it was a problem with the plumbing but the issue was behind the tile. I was impressed with Jon's knowledge and professionalism. I was surprised when I had an additional cost and found out that the service charge cost I paid on Angie's list was strictly to get him to step into my house. All work and time was an additional cost. I thought the cost on Angie's list was a little deceiving. I'm not sure if all plumbing services work this way or not as I haven't needed to call a plumber before.

The tub was not leaking too bad it just had a drip that needed to be gone before we could get the tub refinished. I purchased a hour worth of plumber service. We got a call from Jon Debelak Plumbing Heating Inc. to do the job. He told me he would have to change the inside of fixture. He went and purchase supplies to which we had to pay for total $20. It took him one hour to finished. I like his work but think that I paid too much for what I needed done.

They were prompt, responsive and professional. I would definitely use them again.

It was ok but he had to come back though. The owner wasn’t the one who did it, he had the younger son who was working with him and he did not tighten the pipe properly.

Tried to get others to come and fix a shower faucet, but the job must have been to small. Went on to Angie's list, saw rating on Jon Debelak Plumbing and took advantage of a $10.00 off trip charge and submitted a request fo Debelak via Angie's list. Next morning got a call saying they will be right out. Son and worker very professional. I had purchased a new faucet at Menards and they were willing to install it, but advised that they most likely would have to create an access panel behind the shower and that would create some additional work to install the new faucet. I told them to try to fix the old faucet. They came prepared, they had replacement parts in the truck, and could also put a new frim to make it look new. The work took about an hour. I no longer have the drips that I had for weeks. Parts cost 149.50, but my new faucet from Menards had cost me $125.00, so once I returned my Menards faucet, the parts were a wash.. I am very very pleased with the results. This was truly a case of getting what you paid for. Was a excellent job. They did come out when I couldn't find anyone else. I appreciate that. And they had the parts that some other plumber might have had to go looking for and charge me an extra hour of labor. (that has happened to me in the past)

Jon came out when he said he would and had the job done quickly.Clean up everything when he was done.Couldn't ask for more.I highly recommend him.

They have been over an hour and a half late for their appointment. They did not reach out to me, I had to call them before getting a brief explanation of why they are running late. They did reach back out to me when they realized they were going to be even more late and then asked if I would be comfortable turning off my water and draining my own water heater so it was ready for them when they get here. Because of this request, I am very nervous that when they do get out to me they will be rushing the installation and job just to save time so they can move on to their next job. UPDATE (10/15/2015) In addition to being 2 hours late and asking me to measure and the drain the water heater he did not pull permits nor did even tell me about it. Now I am going to be asked for extra money to be able to pull the permits. I feel he should have known about the permits and let me know of any extra charges for them. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

Jon and his son came and reviewed the job. My wife said they took lots of time with her and answered all her questions. They did have the lowest bid but we would have selected them anyway. We scheduled the work and they came as scheduled. The work was done and it all appears to be just fine. We would definitely use them again.

Excellent. Jon responded very quickly and did the repair immediately. The price of the repair was very reasonable. He even checked the water heater for my other unit and informed me that it was much newer than the one he had to repair and probably has a lot of time left before it will need replacement.
