We had water backing up into our basement. We called Jon and he immediately triaged the situation over the phone and said he’d try to fit me in for a same day appointment due to the urgency of the situation. He called about 15 minutes prior to arriving at our home and immediately got to work. Sure enough, our sump pump pipe that leads to main sewer was frozen and our sump pump needed to be replaced. Kon was very knowledgeable and extremely personable; felt like I’ve known him for years. I also discussed future projects with him, he definitely made my day.

Extremely fast response. Called at 8:00 AM. Within five hours, work was completed. They had good product knowledge of garbage disposals and explained on all price ranges. Nobody pushed, just gave good information to make a correct buying decision. It's always hard to take a chance on a new service company, but the reviews on Angie's List make it very easy. Jon Debelak Plumbing & Heating Inc did not disappoint.

As luck would have it, our hot water heater died on the Friday evening before the Christmas (Monday) weekend. Jon actually answered his phone at 9pm Friday. He was planning to go out of town, but got a helper and was at our house to install the new hot water heater the following morning. The install was fast, efficient and hassle free. He went above and beyond to keep me posted as to what he was trying to do to be able to get the tank installed. He could have easily left for his vacation, but he understood my predicament and really saved the day. We have used Debelak in the past also, for a leaky drain pipe. He is always polite, friendly and dependable. I highly remommend them and am so grateful for the recent work he did for us.

I have a busy schedule that made it difficult to meet up during normal business hours. they were able to give me a price range over the phone based upon pictures I sent. They came over while I was at work and fixed the issue, and the price came in on the lower end of original estimate. All of the work was done well and everything was left very clean.

It did not get replaced by Debelak. I took off work to meet contractor and they didn't show up. Two hours later they stated they were at another site and running behind and could maybe come out later or better the next day. I cancelled the appointment with them and found a different contractor who was able to get the job done right away plus cheaper than I was initially quoted by Debelak.

Cell phone could not be removed even after removing toilet from the floor. Could be removed by breaking the toilet open, but we opted to just dispose of the toilet and put in a new one.

Went very well. Very professional. He also looked at some issues with my toilet and made some adjustments at no charge. Have used this company in the past and have always had great service.

It went very well. I was very pleased, prompt, responsive, very efficient, they cleaned everything up and this is the 2nd time I used them and definitely use them again.

The spouts I purchased were installed and they are still working well, so that is very good. I also received maintenance direction on my tankless hot water heater, and some good advice as to how long they typically last, what's in the market now, and how much it might cost for budgeting purposes. I appreciated the insight, and when Jon left my 10 yr daughter said to me 'That is the nicest plumber we've ever had!' Jon certainly was a pleasure to work with.

They did a great job. I was contacted the same day that I sent a message through Angie's list. We had the water heater delivered and installed within two days of initial contact. They were on time (actually moved us up in their schedule for that day) and even sweep the dust bunnies off the stairs to the basement before they left. Would definitely use again!

Installation went well, when they opened carton they found that unit was damaged. They told me about the damage and then returned the unit to the supplier and returned with an undamaged unit.

The repair went very well. Jon DeBelak described what the repair would entail and it went just as he predicted. He also did the work well within when he said he would. The job required breaking up and removing the cement floor above the sanitary pipe as well as replacing the floor in the affected area once the repair was complete. They just did a great job and were very mindful of cleaning up once they were finished.

On Saturday evening, I noticed my water heater began to leak. I e-mailed Jon late that evening to let him know of leak, provide details of water heater type, size, brand, my address, phone number, etc. Monday morning he called me and let me know he could install a new water heater that afternoon if that worked with my schedule and it did. Before leaving his shop, he called and asked me to send a few photos of my water heater and the pipes. I sent the photos and he let me know the new water heater was taller than my old one. Due to the difference in height, he let me know he would need to cut and solder pipes. He arrived Monday afternoon as promised, installed the new water heater and took the old one away. He was very professional, prompt, polite and thorough. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. This is the 2nd time I've used Jon and he is my go-to plumber. I totally trust him and would recommend him without any hesitation.

Went well. Fast and efficient. Only whished he had brought extra clean up rags with him. I did have to supply them. Gave me pointers on maintaining the new water heater for longer life.

Fantastic -- great customer experience. Their price was fair, especially considering the complicated work involved, and they didn't charge for extra time. They had the new unit drop shipped to our house. They then came to install it at a mutually agreed time. It was a father/son team, and they were knowledgeable, professional and personable. They were helpful, positive and friendly and extremely neat and tidy. Clearly willing to "go the extra mile."

Plumber did a good job in communicating with Grohe for information resulting in a successful repair.

Jon arrived promptly at time he said he would. He was efficient and took the time to answer my questions. Jon even cleaned up and swept the area he worked in. I was impressed how quickly it was completed. I will use his company again for my plumbing needs.

I used the messaging on Angie's List and received a message promptly with instructions to call Jon's cell phone. I stated it was not an emergency, since I have 2 bathrooms. Jon took all my information and asked if it would be okay to stop on his way home from last appointment or before 1st scheduled appointment of his day. That was fine with me. To my surprise Jon and Kevin showed up that very same day about 5:15pm, looked at the toilet, went to his van for a part and installed it which took care of the problem. I was extremely pleased.

excellent experience, we will continue to contact Jon for all of our plumbing needs. He was very fast, thorough. He finished the job before the billed hour was up, so he spent the rest of the hour answering questions I had around the house (recent purchase) and giving me suggestions.
