Description of Work: Fixed my revers osmosis filter. Put in a new sink. Plumbed a new sink. Put in a new drinking water spiket. Connected up my refrigerator water and ice. Plumbed in and mounted a pot filler over the stove. Replaced a faucet in the garage and reran some plumbing. They hammered them out in no time at all.

Description of Work: |Did not know he was using a helper--his son--and I'd pay for that too; fixed two very easy dripping faucets but spent major time on a more complex problem--charged for time which I understand--but did not fix---much larger project than he could do then--which I also understand; also reset toilet which was helpful. Seemed like I paid a lot of money for small jobs and an analysis. John and his son were very professional and respectful; good people

Description of Work: He replaced an outside faucet and the basement shut-off valve connected to that faucet. He placed a modern freeze resistant faucet outside and placed a new valve in the basement. Nice work and everything works well.

+ 0 moreHad to have them come back for clog. The next day it would not drain again. Could not come back until a day later. The drain ran fine when the plumber arrived but he recommended that we still use a bigger snake to make sure everything was cleaned out. I had a drip with the waterline at a connection that they had not installed. He worked with it and could not get it to stop, so no resolution with that issue. When writing up the bill he explained I was still paying another trip charge of $59, time to pick up the larger snake from the shop 30 minutes at $49 and $75 for the sewer snake. I felt like I was being charged for the same thing over and over and over again. In all, paid $700.00 and I still have a water line leak. Not what I expected from an "A" Angie's List provider!! Next time I wil ask my neighbors instead!!!

Description of Work: Jon came in and took out our old whirlpool bat tub and installed a new standard size cast iron bathtub. He also hauled away the old whirlpool tub for a small fee.

+ 2 moreOur basement plumbing work turned into a nightmare. We had several unhappy surprises once we starting digging trenches for the new plumbing (old crumbling pipes, oil leak, wrong size sewer main and cleanout needed to be replaced). In addition, we had several contractors who did not complete their work prior to Dave & Co. arriving. With all of these setbacks, Dave was very understanding about the delays and the rescheduling. Frankly we would have understood if they would have decided not to finish. The additional change orders were approximately $2,000--and very reasonable for the additional work that needed to be performed. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, were very knowledgeable, and highly friendly, personable people. We can't say enough kind things about Dave S. Great work.
Description of Work: Install new bathroom in basement, install new water heater, replace several plumbing and gas lines in basement.

Description of Work: They replaced a kitchen faucet. They re-caulked my sink and they replaced a sump pump in the basement. The toilet was slipping so they re-attached it. They had to take off the old parts. They cleaned up very well.
