Description of Work: They installed a new furnace and air conditioner. Everyone was very helpful and patient with us while we quoted and asked questions. Our old furnace was on it's last leg and with a little one in the house we couldn't wait for it to die, so we were able to do our research and came back with lots of questions to make sure we were getting the best product and the right units for our home.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE TRYING TO SCAM ME! Apparently Commissions are all their repairman was interested in. The next AC repair guy that came out. Looked at my "20+ year old" unit and determined it was 10 years old. After adding the Refrigerant. The unit worked great. Looking through other reports, I wonder how many of the people that replaced units were victims of the repair guys trying to get commissions on new units.
Description of Work: My AC was not working the greatest. It would blow cold and then slowly start to blow warm air. Came out to look at it and charged me a fee for the visit. REFUSED to add Freon;said needs to add the Freon type stuff with a dye in it. Then would need to charge me for it, then come back and tested it for leaks. But, I did not want to do that, as the unit was 20+ years old and it would just leak. And gave me a quote for $1200.00 for a new unit. THE ONLY WORK THEY PERFORMED WAS THE VISIT TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS WRONG. I am Glad I had another company scheduled to come a week later, or I might have been scammed.

 + -1 moreThere were a total of three guys here in stages. It took about 3 days, which was great as it was a big job. All the guys were great and were very patient with all our questions. They were very professional and we are very pleased with our radiant floors!
Description of Work: Had a Buderus high efficiency gas boiler with pump and controls installed to run our radiant floor heating in the basement and garage.

 + -1 moreThe man was extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and we watched from beginning to end. He made suggestions of where to relocate the humidifier and we were very confident in his work.
Description of Work: Relocated humidifier to the other side of our furnace. Put up new sheet metal to cover the hole. Ran new lines and cleaned all areas.

 + -1 moreThe service personnel inspected the furnace thoroughly and proceeded to show me furnace parts that had failed (actually broken), and explained other problems that could cost up to $750 to fix. Because of the prior fall air conditioner failure, we discussed the likely problems and costs to fix them running about $1,000. To avoid these repair costs, including the current service charge and the benefits of more fuel efficiency, the decision was made to replace both the furnace and air conditioning units. Both units were installed on one day as scheduled. The installers were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up the area after themselves very thoroughly. They were all a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Our furnace failed for the third time in the past 7 months. This was the third different vendor we called in an effort to get the furnace problem resolved.

 + -1 moreThis was the second company that we brought in on this problem. They were able to determine the problem and fix it within a three day period. They seemed much more knowledgeable than the previous company we had contacted.
Description of Work: Initially filled the system with dye to determine a possible leak. It was located and they replaced the high side of the evaporator coil, which made the air conditioning functional.
